Just then—
Samu'dra suddenly shifted her weight forward, swinging her greatsword in a powerful horizontal slash.
Garrick didn't try to block it head-on.
Instead, he retreated half a step, letting the massive blade sweep past him before quickly closing the distance.
Samu'dra's eyes widened slightly.
Before she could bring her slender sword around to cover the opening, Garrick turned his wrist and struck the flat of her greatsword with the side of his own blade.
Clang!
The impact knocked her weapon off course, leaving her upper body exposed for a brief moment.
Garrick immediately stepped inside her reach, using his smaller frame to his advantage.
He planted one foot firmly against the ground, then twisted his body and drove his shoulder into her side.
BANG!
Despite looking smaller, Garrick managed to make the giant Samu'dra stagger.
Her enormous body made her difficult to knock over, but the sudden shift in her balance was enough to ruin her stance.
