Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Devil’s Judgment

SECTION 1: THE OBSIDIAN PANOPTICON

Far beyond the fractured boundaries of the Isle of Trials, suspended in the silent void between dimensional strata, the obsidian throne room hummed with the weight of dead worlds.

The entity draped in shifting pools of dark-matter—the primary shadow who had watched Sector 1—did not sit alone. On a second throne of weeping neutron-star stone sat another colossal, shadow-shrouded figure, chin resting on a dark-gloved hand. Its silhouette flickered with quiet, terrifying density.

"You told me this CESC exam was a dull bureaucratic formality," Mysterious Shadow 2 murmured, voice like tectonic plates grinding across glacial ice. "So why have you been staring at this coordinate for hours?"

Mysterious Shadow 1 let out a low, rattling rumble. "Patience, brother. The prologue is finally over. You've come just in time for the best part."

With a flick of a dark-matter finger, Shadow 1 expanded a massive hyper-dimensional scry-screen into the center of the hall. The viewport locked onto Sector 1, where the God of Lightning and the Devil of the Abyss were already tearing the earth apart.

SECTION 2: THE DEVIL AND THE PRINCE

Down in the crater, the landscape was a wasteland of superheated glass and jagged obsidian spikes.

Zex, fully consumed by the primordial power of the Judge of Hell, no longer looked mortal. He stood as a towering blackish-red Devil. Eight colossal leathery wings tore from his back, casting a light-devouring shadow across the sector. In his clawed grip rested a jagged red trident pulsing with condensed Bijoyi Abha.

Prince Thunder stood fifty paces away, body wrapped in crackling high-voltage plasma armor. Without warning he vanished and reappeared directly in front of the Devil. A closed-fist punch charged with the kinetic force of a falling star slammed into Zex's chest plate.

The shockwave flattened the remaining stone pillars for miles. Zex did not flinch. His colossal form absorbed the blow entirely. Red eyes burning with hellfire, he looked down in pure mockery.

"Is this really all you've got? The power of a Walid Maliqun feels like a summer breeze."

Thunder's eyes narrowed. "If a breeze is what you want, let's see how you handle a storm."

He raised one hand to the sky and channeled absolute maximum frequency.

A catastrophic pillar of 10¹⁹²⁰-gigavolt energy crashed down from the stratosphere, enveloping Zex in an atomic cage of raw electricity. The voltage bypassed outer armor, overloaded every nerve pathway, and locked the Devil's muscles rigid. For two full seconds Zex seized violently as white plasma cooked his internals.

Before the Devil could recover, Thunder materialized inches away and unleashed a continuous barrage of high-density Thunderblasts. Each strike tore through flesh and melted dark-matter scales. Black tar-like regenerative fluid surged across the wounds, knitting muscle almost as fast as it was destroyed.

With a roar of pure fury Zex shattered the electrical lock and lunged. The jagged red trident punched straight through Thunder's midsection, the tip erupting from his back in a spray of blood.

Zex grinned. "Got you."

Thunder looked down at the weapon buried in his chest. His expression stayed calm. He rested one palm lightly against the shaft.

"Even a little kiddo knows that if you touch electricity, it affects you."

He had already coated every cellular structure—internal and external—in high-frequency current. The wound sealed itself with plasma cauterization as Thunder stepped forward, sliding past the trident's guard. Electricity crawled across his body like living armor.

What followed was attrition turned into precision art.

Thunder fought smart. Every movement calculated. He used spatial vectors, magnetic friction, and pinpoint lightning to systematically dismantle Zex's guard. When the Devil blasted torrents of black hellfire that melted air into plasma, Thunder danced through the gaps—pivoting on razor margins, ducking sweeping trident strikes, sliding through walls of dark flame. Blue eyes locked onto every tactical blind spot. He turned every charging roar into a bone-fracturing counter.

Zex answered with overwhelming force. Hellfire scoured the canyon in wide arcs. The trident carved trenches through solid rock. Wings beat storms of ash and blood into the air. Regeneration kept pace with the damage, black ichor knitting flesh even as lightning cooked it again. The exchange stretched across minutes that felt like hours—hundreds of exchanges, each more vicious than the last. Thunder's body sparked and hissed. Zex's wings left smoking trails. The ground cracked, melted, and reformed under two absolute forces refusing to yield.

SECTION 3: THE ADMINISTRATIVE BARRIER AND THE SEED OF CHAOS

High above the battlefield, Ninten—still stabilizing after five-fold Bankai exhaustion—raised both hands. His Anomaly Merger form flickered with admin-level purple code. He slammed his palms into the bedrock. A giant semi-transparent purple barrier expanded and sealed the entire combat zone.

Administrative Rule Applied:

Whoever fights inside this sector cannot be permanently eliminated. Fatal damage thresholds are locked. Combatants may inflict pain, draw blood, and battle freely, but system safety nets will prevent permanent deletion until the domain is lifted.

In the panopticon both shadows threw their heads back and laughed—a sound that fractured the void.

"Now the real fun starts," Shadow 1 cackled.

Shadow 2 smiled thinly. "Let's spice it up."

"How?"

"Unauthorized boosts."

Shadow 2 flicked two fingers. A corrupted god-tier surge flooded selected energy channels below.

"Look at this one," Shadow 2 said, pointing at the HUD. "Suleiman Haque Nafiz. Let's see what divine adrenaline does to him."

Down below, Nafiz stopped running. His eyes rolled back. Power roared through him like black fire, multiplying strength, speed, and darker impulses a thousandfold. He spotted Ninten near the barrier edge and charged, fists glowing with stolen Sakti.

Ninten did not even turn fully. He simply raised his left hand, gripped Nafiz by the throat with effortless disdain, and hurled him across the canyon.

"Trash tier shouldn't clutter the server."

Nafiz smashed through three stone outcroppings and tumbled into a quiet secluded ravine far from the main fight. Dazed, bleeding, intoxicated by the dark surge, he staggered upright. His vision swam—then locked onto a figure near the ravine wall.

Layla. Zex's girlfriend. One of his core teammates. She had been resting away from the front lines.

Nafiz's dilated eyes fixed on her. Something animalistic snapped. He laughed—a twisted, broken sound—and lunged. He tackled her hard to the ground, hands already tearing at clothing, body pinning hers.

Layla's scream tore through the air—raw, terrified, piercing.

Miles away in the central crater, Zex's head snapped toward the sound. Demonic red eyes flashed with absolute world-ending fury. He ignored Thunder completely and vanished into a streak of black-red void light.

He materialized above Nafiz before the man could register the change in air pressure. The massive jagged red trident descended like judgment itself.

Zex drove it straight down through Nafiz's open screaming mouth. The kinetic force and divine edge did not merely pierce—it ripped. The weapon sheared through skull, spine, and torso in one continuous motion, tearing Nafiz completely into two distinct bloody halves. Organs, bone fragments, and a geyser of crimson painted the stone walls. The two pieces hit the ground separately, still twitching for a second before going still.

Thunder arrived a fraction of a second later. He came to a dead stop. His eyes widened in profound shock at the gruesome remains cooling on the ground.

In the panopticon Shadow 1 laughed uproariously. "Finally—a beautiful scene."

Shadow 2 smiled calmly. "Fun. Wait… another one. Mithu Bin Ridwan. Let's see what he does."

SECTION 4: THE CODE OF HONOR AND THE FALL OF RIDWAN

The remaining five members of Team Suleiman rushed into the clearing, drawn by the screams. When their eyes locked onto the bisected corpse of Nafiz, absolute terror seized them. Padma dropped to her knees, hands glowing green with healing light, desperately trying to stitch the catastrophic wounds. The cellular destruction was too absolute; the magic fizzled into useless smoke.

Zex stood protectively over Layla. His towering demonic form shifted, the aura softening fractionally as he pulled a clean tactical cloth from inventory and draped it carefully over her shoulders, covering her.

"Don't worry," he said, voice dropping from demonic roar to a surprisingly gentle rumble. "Nothing will happen to you."

Layla, still trembling violently, sobbed once in relief and leaned her head against Zex's massive blackish-red chest, calming beneath the protective embrace.

Thunder watched the entire scene. A profound wave of understanding passed through him. Without mockery or malice he slowly lowered his fists, uncharged the plasma armor, and stepped backward, breaking the engagement.

He looked directly at Zex, voice steady and respectful.

"Take care of her. I won't intervene. Whenever you come back, I'll fight. Until then, I won't touch you, Zex." He smiled—small, genuine.

Zex's red demonic eyes widened in absolute shock at the sudden display of martial honor and empathy from an enemy in the middle of a death match.

Further back on the ridge, Jamuna Al Hira, who had followed the shockwaves, watched Thunder's actions with breathless awe. A deep, undeniable warmth bloomed in her chest—quiet absolute respect for the man's towering, deeply honorable personality.

Thunder turned and began walking back toward the main sector.

As he stepped past a ruined stone archway, a figure lunged from the shadows with a malicious grin—Mithu Bin Ridwan, captain of Team Eclipse. Ridwan gripped a razor-sharp rune-etched saber and drove it straight into Thunder's back. He did not stop. He stabbed again and again in a frenzied continuous assassination attempt, the blade punching into flesh over and over.

Thunder felt nothing. His magnetic-electrical isolation field neutralized every impact; the saber slid off as if trying to cut diamond.

Thunder slowly turned his head and looked down at Ridwan with cold unyielding disgust.

"Son of a coward."

Before Ridwan could pull the blade free, Thunder's hand ignited with blinding white high-voltage plasma. He unleashed a devastating atomic-tier lightning blow that locked onto every cellular coordinate of Ridwan's body.

The concussive shockwave atomized him. In less than a nanosecond, flesh, organs, bones, and veins were pulverized into one hundred thousand microscopic pieces that scattered into the wind as if he had never existed.

Thunder walked on.

SECTION 5: THE ARRIVAL OF TEAM ECLIPSE AND THE ALMIGHTY RECKONING

The rest of Team Eclipse swarmed out from the surrounding ridges, arriving to back their captain. The full roster spilled into the canyon:

Ariyan Bin Husain.

Safwan Bin Asman.

M. Fazrul Haque Rayhan.

Rayhan Islam Rafiqullah.

Md. Hasnain Ul Sajid.

Farhan Bin Sakibul.

Sakibul Islam Goni.

Mohammed Fazil Haque Reza.

Wassi Talukder.

SM Modon Khan.

Sayon Bin Adnan.

Anik Bin Lam.

Al Fhir Haque Naim.

Nahid Bin Jihad.

Deepto Fillah Dip.

In the panopticon both shadows leaned forward, eyes glowing with intense morbid fascination.

"Now the fun increases," Shadow 1 said, almost vibrating.

A calm, terrifying voice echoed from above.

"You're stepping into the wrong patch."

Ninten dropped from the clouds like an avenging deity. The long build-up timer had finished. His eyes flashed with infinite multi-layered pupils as he unlocked Phase Three of Yhwach's powers—the Almighty.

Fundamental laws of probability, future causality, and physical reality bent instantly to his command. He did not merely see every attack coming; he altered the future so their attacks had already failed before they were thrown.

M. Fazrul Haque Rayhan, harnessing the fierce ancestral bloodline of a giant Gorilla Animan, roared and threw a massive kinetic-infused haymaker at Ninten's head.

Ninten did not look. He casually swung his sword. The future causality dictated that Rayhan was already cut. Instantly the massive frame was cleanly sliced into ten equal symmetrical pieces. Blood rained onto the dust.

Safwan Bin Asman charged, trying to blindside with a stealth blade.

Ninten pointed two fingers at Safwan's face and released a concentrated Reishi Explosion. The blast obliterated Safwan's face and completely removed his head from his neck in a violent flash of spiritual light.

Wassi Talukder, possessing the genetically engineered ancestral bloodline of a Beaver Animan, lunged with a heavy logging axe.

Thunder flashed across the gap first. He grabbed Wassi by the throat with his right hand, hoisted him high into the air, and channeled a concentrated high-frequency electric charge through the grip. Wassi's body detonated from the inside out and vanished into a cloud of glowing blue mist.

Ariyan Bin Husain attempted to flee, turning his back to sprint toward the ridges.

Thunder simply raised a palm and snapped his fingers. A localized electromagnetic rail-pulse tore through the air, pierced Ariyan's chest, and deleted his entire data profile in less than a nanosecond.

Four members of Team Eclipse erased in the blink of an eye. The remaining eleven froze in absolute bone-chilling terror, staring at the two members of Team Thunder who stood amidst the smoke and blood like twin gods of destruction.

In the panopticon the two shadows laughed louder still, the sound rolling across the void like the promise of more beautiful scenes yet to come.

The real fun had only just begun.
