Kinto and Kenji were still fighting, swords of flames and beams of hot red energy caused explosions all over the sky and the battlefield below. The two powerhouses fought, going blow for blow with one another as they flew in air. Kinto was grinning, enjoying himself and the chaos around him, he cocked back his fists, gathering a dangerous level of energy into it, Kenji did the same thing with his lightning. With mad smiles on their faces, they both crashed their fists together. The impact of the explosions caused them both to fly backwards, Kinto was sent flying through the air, he had noticed that his fists that he had used to parry that of Kenji's blow had cut in two. Kinto clicked his tongue, but he wasn't irritated. Instead, he accessed the situation as his injured fist regenerated "So he's able to parry my cross explosives with multiple long ranged attacks of his. Not just that, but he's more likely to kill me than I am to kill him.", he narrowed his eyes "Yeah. I'm enjoying this fight a lot, but I've got to kill him and move on. Even tho he's someone in the world I can truly understand.". Kinto had hardened his heart at the moment, he had made sure that he would focus more on killing the enemy rather than letting his psychotic joy take over. He pointed out his finger, a red beam rotating on it "Lets go.", and then proceeded to shoot it. As the beam traveled, it multiplied in number. Kenji flew In at top speed, slicing through Kinto's cross explosives that were blocking his path, slashes of lightning rained through the sky with each wave of his sword of lightning. He dodged every beam that flew his way, cutting them in half while destroying the cross explosives. After being able to make it through the rain of beams, Kenji had noticed Kinto far up in the air, his arms and legs stretch apart like he wanted to fall. Kenji grinned, pointing his sword at him, ready to unleash a bolt of lightning. But as he did so, Kinto had appeared behind him "Im over here.", he said with a casual expression. Kenji turned around in awe "What the....", that was the only word he could say, but he had fallen for Kinto's bait. That Kinto behind him was a clone, the real Kinto was still above, he did a hand sign, causing clones of him to appear all over the air around Kenji. This was the highest number of clones Kinto had ever made, they were hundreds in number. Kenji was confused, looking around in AWE "FIRE!", Kinto commanded. A huge red wave of energy entrapped Kenji, including Kinto himself. All of his clones had started throwing bombs at him, from the left to right, from up and below. There was not a single corner that a bomb didn't drop on Kenji, explosions of fire and red energy shoocked the wastelands. Kinto watched "Yeah, this should slow him down. He can't go anywhere. And even if he was able to get rid of my clones, I can just lash out other bombs and escape into a safe place for myself. After that, I'll just trap him and keep hitting him. Yeah. I need to end it.". Dragniar Zenoton activated, Kinto let out an excited scream as one of his eyes turned black and it pupils green "YEAAAAAH!", he shot out a colourful beam of power, adding to the explosion that had overwhelmed the manifestation of Kenji. Kenji was being defeated, he couldn't find away to get out of the rapid fire explosions that had overwhelmed him, it was no use, he could only stay there and endure. Thinking about this was unacceptable, especially when he had realised that he was some how given the chance to come back to life as his latent potential. No, losing in such a manner was something he could not accept, he gritted his teeth "Haha! You wanna take things seriously now? I'll do the same thing.", Kinto immediately sensed something was wrong, he jolted. Kenji started to rise up, struggling with the rapid fire explosions that weren't giving him time to fight back. He was nothing but a manifestation made from pure lightning that refused to stay down. Kinto narrowed his eyes "No time to enjoy anymore huh? Guess we're both on the same page.", Kenji let out a roar of pure anger and hatred, the lightning that shot out of his body as a result was strong enough to overpower Kinto's explosion. It was also so strong that it was able to break the wall of pure heat that Kinto had used to trap him and himself. Kinto flew back, a cross explosive rotating on his palm that was stretched out "Thought this might happen.", he said with aggression before his cross explosive shot out a beam at Kenji who was screaming with anger as he was the momentary cause of a literal storm. The beam flew towards him, but Kenji deflected it with a wave of his hand and jumped forward at Kinto with a lightning powered punch. Kinto was stunned, his eyes were widened infact, Kenji flew In with a dragonic smile(Did I just come up with a new word?), Kinto's immediate instincts was to parry the punch. But as soon as he did, electricity immediately ran through his body. Billions of volts burnt Kinto from the inside out "What.....?!", another lightning powdered blow blasted him on the face again. Kinto flew accross yards as the part of his face being blown was burnt. Kenji flew In again, his arms stretched backwards as he was ready for a fist fight. Kinto didn't waste time, he immediately blocked the punch, the ground scattered. Kinto and Kenji started moving around like streaks of lightning, trading powerfull and dangerous blows two hundred times the speed of light "How? I mean I've gone blow for blow with him since and I haven't been electrocuted like that. Did I drop my guard, or did he focus on transmitting the electricity of his lightning into my body rather than just blasting me from the outside?", the fist fight dragged on "It doesn't matter.". Kenji and Kinto kept trading blows, not even giving each other a time of rest at all, blood shot out from Kinto's body as he received blows from his enemy, Kenji was also being dealt with pretty hard blows from Kinto. If he had a human body like back when he was still alive, he too would have bleed. But as the fight kept on going, his body that was pure lightning had started to fade, Kenji started to have a human body again. He spoke to himself as he realised this "Ah, I see. This power of mine would have a time limit, meaning if I were able to unlock it if being alive, it would only last for so long.", he continued to think to himself, his voice shaky as if he hadn't spoken in a long time "I wonder if Shouya is doing okay. I wonder if Rin is still strong. Kazu, he must have surpassed me in the use of a sword.". Kenji smiled softly as his face was slowly turning into that of a human's, and not that of a dragon that took the appearance of lightning. He looked at Kinto who's whole body was bleeding as he rushed in with a blow, his teeth gritted as his fists were stretched out to bang him on the face "Hey, kid. You look like you've gotten stronger.", Kinto's fist had almost made it to Kenji's face "Good for you.", he said. Kinto yelled out like an angry lunatic "AAAAAH!", and punched Kenji's face with all his might. The ground scattered into a million pieces, Kenji flew back like a sack of sand, slamming and breaking through things before being stopped by a huge wall. Kenji had retaken his human appearance, the lightning fading from his body. He dropped to one knee, blood pouring from his mouth and face as he laughed "Khaaaa!", his head faced upwards "Hahaha!", a metal rod flew past him, crashing into the wall beside him. Kenji was stunned before he smiled "Still want to keep this up?", he asked. Kinto slowly walked forward from the smoke, his entire body bleeding while his back was slumped forward "Looks like you're not some lightning entity anymore.", he stood up straight "I'm surprised tho. You could have killed me two times in our fight. One in our sword fight, and the other one where my sword blew up from your impact. So why didn't you do that?", Kenji blinked before smiling softly and telling Kinto "Because it would have been boring.". Kinto didn't seem to have any responses, but then "Haha.", he laughed. Kenji also started to laugh "Hahahahaha!", both Kenji and Kinto were laughing "Hahahahah!". They both stopped. Kinto brought out his weapon, [Necrabelion] "Looks like I've got to kill you now. Still have anything you want to say?", Kenji stretched out his hand, yellow lightning building up inside the finger. Kenji had a satisfied smile on his face "A last stand off. That's all.". For the fist time since this arc started, Kinto showed a genuine smile, towards an enemy even. He responded to Kenji as Necrabelion was about to activate "Just this once. Okay?". Without any warning whatsoever, a glowing red spike flew In like a missle "Huh?", Kenji looked at the attack with disinterest. It was that spike that had proceeded to cut him in half, separating his upper body from his lower as his blood splurted out of his mouth "GHUWHA!", he coughed before his body faded away in seconds, layer after layer. Kinto was in confusion, no, he was heartbroken "Kenjii...?". A guy with white hair and with red tentacles slithering ad they enlongated from his back had gotten Kinto's attention "So you were the one who killed Naiela? Looks like I found you.", he said with a cold and yet casual tone. Kinto turned around, his pupils dilated, his expression like a doll who's intentions were unknown "You're dead.", he said.
