No One's POV
Lily reached the mansion. After quickly changing back into her clean maid uniform, she walked straight toward her lady's room. She knew Viella must be waiting for her after the stressful morning. But the moment she reached the wooden door, her boots stepped in something wet.
She looked down. Red blood was slowly seeping out from under the door, staining the hallway carpet.
For the first time in eighteen years, absolute panic showed on Lily's face. Her heart stopped. Without knocking, she threw the door open and rushed inside.
The sight made her freeze. Not because she's scared, it's because she never expected such thing.
Viella was sitting casually on her couch. Below her, two housemaids were kneeling on the floor, trembling violently and sobbing. Next to them lay another maid, motionless on the ground. A single bullet hole was drilled perfectly into the center of her forehead, and a pool of dark blood was spreading across the rug.
