Kai's P.O.V.
Kai was pacing around the room, he wasn't sure how to tell Ben. He had told Erik that he wanted Ben to stay with them. Ben's father died a few months prior due to a heart attack. His mother was still alive. She was a sweet lady who would do anything for her son. Kai and his family really liked her.
Kai was struggling with how to send the message. He knew it was now or never. Once communication died he was not sure he would get another chance to see him. Kai was not sure if Ben would believe him but he still gave it a try. That was his best friend they were talking about.
Golden Boy Kai: Bro, are you there?
Blue Dragon Ben: Yeah, what's up?
Golden Boy Kai: Can you come to my house at 5:30pm? Bring Aunty with you. We are having a dinner for Penny, she wants both of you here.
He didn't want to alert him of anything yet. Ben was the type to panic over the little things.
