"Impossible! They cannot do that," Spartacus exclaimed with anger and dismay.
"They can do it because they are Romans, and no one in the Mediterranean or the Black Sea can rival them," said Farid with an expression of helplessness.
"Father, you are not going to hand Spartacus over, are you?" Sarah asked with an urgent expression.
"Spartacus, would you rather have the entire tribe become involved and enslaved because of you, or turn yourself in and save the tribe from disaster?" Farid replied without looking at the distressed Sarah.
Spartacus was completely stunned; how could the situation develop this way?
How can the Romans be so unreasonable?
Spartacus believed that his desertion had nothing to do with the entire tribe and that involving them would be unfair.
"The damned Romans are being very unreasonable," Spartacus said while cursing Rome.
Farid sighed as he observed the helpless fury of his proud son and simply closed his eyes while saying, "I believe you will make the wisest decision."
Spartacus returned home dejected. Why had the situation developed this way?
How could the Romans be so domineering?
Sarah tried to comfort the distressed Spartacus without success.
The couple finally arrived at their own hut, and Spartacus lay down on the bed.
Spartacus felt dizzy and dazed; he had not slept well during the last few days after enduring wind and rain. So he fell into a deep sleep.
The night passed quietly in the mountain village.
The door of Spartacus's hut opened, and Farid entered carrying food.
Upon finding the sleeping Spartacus, the old Farid sat down and silently waited for his son to wake up.
It is unclear how much time passed before Spartacus finally woke up and Farid had left.
Spartacus looked around; everything was silent. Sarah was lying quietly on top of him, and she woke up when she felt his movement.
"What time is it?" Spartacus asked in a deep voice.
"I have no idea," Sarah said with a sleepy expression.
The couple got out of bed, and Sarah grabbed a wooden bucket with the intention of going to the village well.
Upon opening the door, four Roman soldiers with indifferent expressions and a horrible emblem on their chests were standing outside the hut.
The four legionaries looked at Sarah and then continued looking straight ahead.
Sarah turned pale. Had the Romans really arrived?
Before Sarah could scream, the old Farid approached and said a few words.
After 10 minutes, Sarah returned to the hut with a resigned expression.
"It is almost time for the meal, and you probably have not eaten properly for several days. Do you want me to reheat the food?" Sarah asked calmly.
"No need, I have been eating the worst food these past few days," Spartacus replied while laughing and taking a large piece of bread.
"Farid has called the Romans, and they are outside now," Sarah said quietly while watching Spartacus eat.
"Is he afraid that I will escape?" Spartacus said with a self-deprecating smile.
Spartacus had never expected his father to treat him this way; his father's betrayal truly broke his heart, but he understood his reasons as the chief of the tribe.
The door of the hut suddenly opened, and a Roman centurion with black military equipment and a stern expression slowly advanced toward the small table.
The centurion looked sternly at Spartacus.
"I will give you 10 minutes to say goodbye," said the clone centurion with a stern expression.
"Sir, can you let him go? We can give you money, a lot of money," Sarah said with a panicked expression.
Sarah had heard that the Roman army treated deserters very harshly, sometimes even with the death penalty.
The clone centurion slapped Sarah in response.
Sarah's slap caused Spartacus to become enraged and charge at the clone centurion.
The clone centurion dodged the enraged Spartacus and delivered a powerful kick to his chest.
Two clone soldiers stepped forward and kicked Spartacus on the ground.
"You gave shelter to the deserter Spartacus, and you will also be condemned to slavery," the Centurion said with a serious expression.
Sarah, who was lying on the ground because of the slap, turned pale with fear.
Spartacus, who was being kicked by two clone soldiers, tried to get up upon hearing the words of the clone centurion.
The commotion in the hut attracted the Thracians from the village.
A group of Thracians became extremely enraged upon seeing the Romans beating Spartacus.
If it had not been for Farid's repeated instructions, the enraged Thracians would have confronted the Romans.
"Sir, please, do not do this, please let him go," Sarah begged while forgetting the pain in her face and clinging to the centurion's leg.
The clone centurion showed an indifferent expression as he said, "Slaves have no right to demand anything."
Sarah felt a wave of fear at the emotionless gaze of the clone centurion.
"Cough... cough..."
At that precise moment, a soft cough was heard from outside the door, and Farid entered.
"Sir, have you captured Spartacus?" Farid said while looking at Spartacus with a flash of pain in his eyes.
Upon seeing Spartacus's bloodied face, Farid sighed regretfully.
"Yes, thank you for your cooperation. However, I have discovered a small problem: someone is protecting Spartacus," said the clone centurion while pointing at Sarah.
"Her name is Sarah, and I assigned her to keep Spartacus distracted; she is in no way protecting him," Farid said hurriedly.
"No, you are Spartacus's father; your words cannot be used as evidence," the clone centurion replied indifferently.
Septimus had no intention of complicating Spartacus's life, but Sarah really was an exotic beauty.
"She is a priestess who serves the gods."
"I am not interested in knowing which god she serves," the clone centurion replied indifferently.
Farid felt a wave of anger; that Roman was completely shameless, and he seemed determined to take Sarah away.
"What do you intend to do with her?"
"Reduced to slavery," the clone centurion said calmly.
The crowd of Thracians became restless and began to shout.
"No, you cannot do that."
"If you dare take Sarah away, we will fight to the death."
"..."
The Thracians surrounding the hut shouted angrily.
In the minds of the Thracians, Sarah's status was considered sacred, and reducing her to a slave meant an offense against the gods.

Give me your opinions on the Spartacus plot.
Sarah is beautiful, and according to the protagonist's personality, he could simply take her using a small excuse.
Later I will reinforce the logic of the plot, but if you do not like it, I can correct it.
I accept opinions.
