Chapter 199 - The 15% Threat

Season 3 chapter 109

The 15% Threat

Leon sat perfectly still in his lavish chair, casually adjusting the immaculate cuffs of his silk shirt. He looked at the three highest officials in the Republic with absolute, unfiltered aristocratic disdain.

"Well, first of all," Leon began smoothly, his voice completely devoid of panic. "That was absolutely not my money. That untaxed wealth you are currently salivating over didn't belong to me at all. But even if I threw twenty-five trillion into the ocean just for my own entertainment, I would still be in a far better financial position than you."

Leon paused, letting his cold eyes scan the three powerful men.

"I am still infinitely wealthier than you fucking bureaucratic shit dogs," Leon insulted ruthlessly, completely dropping his polite royal filter. "You stand in my courtyard acting like conquerors, but at the end of the day, I am much better off than you fucking corrupted officers will ever be on your pathetic federal salaries."

The DI'an Forces Head (DFH) instantly stepped forward, the heavy military medals on his chest clinking. He rested his hand aggressively on the hilt of his sidearm, leaning over Leon's table.

"Well, the thing is, Leon," the DFH warned, his voice dropping into a highly lethal, guttural threat. "If you don't want to get killed soon, then you really should not speak too much."

Leon simply picked up his porcelain teapot and casually poured himself a fresh cup.

"I am just spitting the truth," Leon replied, completely unbothered by the military commander threatening his life. "And since we are casually talking about numbers today, don't we? Let's talk about another one."

Leon took a slow sip of his tea, his eyes locking directly onto the Head of the Presidential Council.

"I think so you know the value of fifteen percent," Leon stated, his voice turning incredibly sharp. "You should know the exact value of 15%."

The courtyard went completely dead silent. The wind blew across the ruined golden gates, but the three officials completely froze. The mocking amusement entirely vanished from the Council Head's face.

"So..." the Council Head murmured, his eyes narrowing with deep political suspicion. "In this way... you are actively threatening the government itself."

"It is not a threat," Leon smiled coldly, his aristocratic aura dominating the exchange. "It is just a message embedded like a threat. Or whatever you think, if you want to stretch your bureaucratic imagination."

Before the officials could escalate the confrontation, a heavily armed captain of the Legendary Guards jogged across the ruined lawns and stopped in front of the HDO, giving a sharp salute.

"Sir, the investigation is over," the soldier reported, sounding highly frustrated. "But we were completely unable to find anything here. We scoured the entire estate. All the assets and wealth found here have their legal invoices fully cleared and fulfilled. The paperwork is flawless. The investigation is complete."

The Head Development Officer let out a heavy, deeply annoyed sigh. He looked back down at Leon, deciding to take one last petty shot.

"What a shame," the HDO mocked, executing a highly exaggerated, sarcastic bow. "Sorry... sorry, Lord Leon, if we hurt you in any way today with our little intrusion."

Leon casually opened a newspaper on his table, not even bothering to look up at them anymore.

"Not a bit," Leon dismissed, waving his hand like he was shooing away a fly. "Why on earth would I be hurt from some corrupted fellows in power?"

The HDO, DFH, and the Council Head exchanged a dark, highly arrogant smirk with one another. They hadn't found the money, but they had delivered their message. The three officials turned on their heels and marched out of the estate. Within minutes, the helicopters lifted off, the tanks rolled away, and the ruined courtyard was left in complete silence.

The Iron Skeleton

Inside the heavily reinforced Northern East wing of the Kavilson Steel R&D laboratory, the air was thick with the smell of ozone and burning machine oil. The fourth prototype Fisluation reactor was far from finished. It was currently a massive, incomplete skeleton of heavy iron, thick copper wiring, and hollow cooling pipes. Shuntesh was completely absent from the lab, likely out sourcing more industrial components for the massive build.

Kniya and Malesh were standing over a heavy iron workbench, their sleeves rolled up and their hands completely stained with thick black grease.

The heavy steel security doors of the laboratory suddenly hissed open.

Salesh and Filoska confidently strode into the lab. They weren't carrying engineering blueprints; they were carrying an aura of absolute, ruthless capitalist victory.

Kniya dropped his heavy wrench onto the table, a massive, devious grin spreading across his face as he looked at his executives.

"Well, I absolutely have to say this for sure," Kniya laughed loudly, aggressively clapping his grease-stained hands together. "Salesh, Filoska... you two did a genuinely masterful job today. I completely appreciate the sheer ruthlessness of it! It would be so incredibly interesting to see Leon's face right now!"

Kniya leaned back against the unfinished reactor, highly amused by the geopolitical chaos they had just caused.

"I guarantee you that inbred peacock is sitting in his ridiculously over-decorated palace right now, completely depressed from the inside out, crying into his overpriced silk pillows!" Kniya cackled, his chaotic energy bouncing off the concrete walls. "I just want to see his actual reaction after this massive disaster happened to him. The guy acts like a god, and we just casually cost his bloodline twenty-five trillion credits without even leaving the office. You guys were really great."

Salesh shook his head, offering a modest, highly professional smile.

"Thanks, Kniya, but the credit is yours," Salesh corrected smoothly. "It is entirely due to your data that we were able to pull this off. You didn't just find the maritime coordinates; you managed to secure the complete operational manifest, the exact amount of money being moved, and the entire logistical route. We just seamlessly provided that massive data dump to the DI'an government, allowing them to legally seize the ship full of illegal wealth right as it left the Royal Family's private island."

"Absolutely not," Kniya waved his hand, completely rejecting the praise. "I literally did nothing, Salesh. It was entirely Filoska. She is the one who provided me with the actual intel that the Royal Family was actively trying to move its untaxed wealth in the dead of night. I was just able to track down the complete data based on her tip. The intel credit fully goes to her."

Filoska offered a sharp, aristocratic smirk, fully embracing her role as Kavilson Steel's most lethal corporate spy.

"It wasn't just basic deduction," Filoska explained coldly, her eyes flashing with venom. "Because I am technically still a part of that parasitic Royal Family, I still have deep informants inside their inner circle. Leon is arrogant, but his court is full of massive leaks."

Malesh smoothly adjusted his glasses with a clean knuckle, his deadpan voice taking over to explain the exact origin of their ultimate corporate sabotage.

"The actual catalyst started when Mantouse Adeius tried to boast to us during a previous meeting," Malesh detailed flatly. "Mantouse claimed that one of the primary DI'an military bases just got attacked by some terrorist organization, or whatever it is, and it got totally obliterated."

Kniya pointed a grease-stained finger at Malesh, taking the narrative back with unhinged excitement.

"Exactly!" Kniya grinned wildly. "And when Malesh interrogated him flat-out for the exact name of the island and what specific event happened, Mantouse completely evaded the question! He literally said, 'I don't know about the fucking islands as much... my name is not Mantouse Detective, it is adeius'!"

Kniya burst out laughing, slapping his knee. "At the time, I absolutely roasted him! I told him he sounded like a cheap gossip rumor and that I didn't give a fuck if some random base got destroyed! I completely dismissed it! But after I told Filoska about it, she heard that blind rumor and actually did the digging!"

"I cross-referenced federal maritime logs with Mantouse's vague gossip," Filoska finished ruthlessly. "I discovered the destroyed base was DI'an Territory 774. And more importantly, I knew the Royal Family's private island was located directly next to it. Because the military island blew up, Leon completely panicked!"

"He knew the DI'an military was going to heavily swarm that entire maritime sector to investigate the blast," Filoska explained. "And he was absolutely terrified that the federal government would inevitably start investigating their neighboring private island too."

"But here is the absolute funniest part of the entire fucking thing," Kniya laughed, leaning over the iron workbench. "They actually managed to bribe the right officials and delay the federal investigation on their island for months! Leon had already successfully transferred several trillion credits of his hidden wealth out of the territory before this! This twenty-five trillion cargo ship was literally his absolute last batch of untaxed cash... but thanks to God, that final fat piggy bank finally got caught!"

"And while he was busy trying to sneak the last of his hoard out like a scared, cornered rat," Malesh deadpanned, "we simply handed his exact sailing coordinates over to the Ultra Special Forces."

The four of them shared a dark, highly victorious laugh. It was the absolute pinnacle of corporate warfare. They had weaponized a vague, half-baked rumor and the DI'an federal government to completely bankrupt their biggest rival.
