The Industrial Flight
The monster, staring at the shattered hilt of its destroyed sword, was absolutely furious. Its red eyes burned with unhinged, demonic rage at being entirely ignored for a corporate advertisement.
The demon roared, pulled back its massive, muscular arm, and threw a colossal, devastating punch directly into the front of Malesh's chest.
BOOOOOOM!
The sheer kinetic force of the blow was catastrophic. Malesh's grip instantly failed, dropping Silvisa safely onto the asphalt as he was violently launched backward like a human cannonball.
The Narrator's Intervention
Now, you might be wondering: Why is nobody else on the street reacting to this? Where are the police? Where are the civilians?
Well, let me explain the geographical logic here. They are currently located in the deepest, most abandoned industrial sector of the Seistain Hub. Nobody lives here because the corporate pollution is so astronomically high that the air is practically poison. It is totally unlivable. It is just endless miles of abandoned, rusting mega-factories and concrete warehouses. It is the perfect place to get punched through a building without catching a civilian casualty lawsuit and perfect for a situation like this one.***
DOOSH!
Malesh slammed through the thick exterior brick wall of a massive abandoned factory, completely obliterating the masonry.
But he didn't stop. The momentum of the monster's punch was terrifying.
DOOSH! DOOSH! DOOSH!
In slow motion, Malesh violently blasted through layer after layer of concrete, iron scaffolding, and reinforced drywall. He tore straight through the interior of one building, blasted out the back wall, flew across an empty alleyway, and violently crashed into the side of a second warehouse.
Shattered glass, twisted rebar, and pulverized cinderblocks rained down around him in a cloud of industrial destruction.
Finally, after crashing through multiple buildings, Malesh's ruined body slammed into a heavy steel support beam and crumpled to the concrete floor.
He was completely covered in blood. His incredibly expensive suit was shredded beyond repair. Jagged pieces of broken glass, concrete shrapnel, and twisted metal were deeply pierced into his arms, legs, and chest. A huge amount of dark red blood was steadily flowing out of his wounds, pooling on the dirty warehouse floor.
Malesh groaned, his vision blurring as he tried to calculate the medical expenses of his current physical state.
Back on the highway, the demon let out a triumphant roar. It crouched low, its massive leg muscles bulging, and launched itself into the air, flying straight through the massive holes Malesh had left in the buildings.
The monster landed inside the ruined warehouse with an earth-shattering thud. It raised its massive, clawed fists, charging forward with its fullest force to completely eradicate the bleeding billionaire.
The Ninth One
As the monster leaped forward for the final blow, the concrete floor between them violently erupted.
A massive, incredibly thick, ancient tree burst straight out of the industrial foundation. Its heavy, powerful roots whipped through the air like organic steel cables, violently wrapping around the monster's charging legs and completely stopping its attack dead in its tracks.
Before Malesh could even question why an ancient forest tree was growing inside a highly polluted steel warehouse, the massive trunk of the tree began to glow and shift.
The bark aggressively twisted and retracted, seamlessly transforming into the shape of a tall, athletic human guy.
Without missing a single beat, the tree-guy spun around and delivered a devastating, hyper-kinetic roundhouse kick directly into the monster's chest.
CRACK!
The impact sounded like a thunderclap. The twelve-foot monster shrieked in agony as it was violently launched backward, dragging entirely out of the warehouse and crashing back out onto the street, tearing up the asphalt.
Malesh lay bleeding against the steel beam, completely unable to understand what the fuck was happening right now. Magic swords, fart demons, and now a guy who could biologically transmute into timber.
The medieval swordsman, who had just sprinted through the holes in the walls to catch up, skidded to a halt, staring at the tree-guy in absolute shock.
The tree-guy didn't even look at the bleeding monster outside. He just slowly turned his head, looking the heavily armored swordsman up and down with an expression of pure, unfiltered disgust.
"You are literally weak and useless," the tree-guy insulted, his voice dripping with absolute arrogance. "Your sword is shit. Man-shit. It is completely useless."
The swordsman's jaw dropped in pure outrage.
"What the fuck?!" the swordsman yelled, pointing his glowing blade at the guy. "How are you even here?! I supposed that you were currently locked inside the Dummy Forest! I don't need your fucking support, you fucking Ninth One!"
The tree-guy casually crossed his arms, stepping over a pile of shattered concrete and looking down at the bleeding, exhausted billionaire lying on the floor.
"Yeah," the tree-guy smirked, his eyes glinting with extreme arrogance. "I see that now."
The Dimensional Slash — Infinite Power
The Ninth One—the incredibly arrogant guy who had just biologically transmuted out of a tree—stood in the rubble of the warehouse, completely insulting the medieval swordsman's weapon.
The swordsman's eyes narrowed with lethal, blinding fury. He completely ignored the billionaire bleeding on the floor and the tree-guy mocking him. He gripped the hilt of his glowing broadsword with both hands, lowering his stance until his armored boots cracked the concrete.
Outside, the twelve-foot fart monster roared, recovering from the tree-guy's kick and charging forward to finish the job.
"I don't need your approval, and I don't need your help!" the swordsman yelled at the Ninth One. He swung his blade back, channeling an absolutely terrifying amount of magical energy into the steel. "Let me show you what this sword can do! Dimensional Slash — Infinite Power!"
With a deafening scream, the swordsman swung his blade in a massive, horizontal arc.
A blinding, crescent-shaped shockwave of pure kinetic energy violently erupted from the sword. The slash moved faster than the speed of sound. It tore across the industrial lot and hit the charging monster perfectly in the torso.
SHHHHHK.
The sheer, infinite power of the dimensional slash cut completely through the twelve-foot demon. It didn't stop there. The massive energy arc kept going, slicing cleanly through two abandoned factory buildings behind the monster, ripping a massive fissure directly through the asphalt road, and completely severing a steel water tower a mile away before finally dissipating into the toxic sky.
The top half of the monster's body slowly slid off its bottom half. Both pieces hit the concrete with a heavy, wet thud.
The monster shrieked in absolute, agonizing pain, its demonic voice echoing horribly across the industrial ruins. But then, the terrifying neon-green magical aura flared up again. Viscous, glowing green tendrils shot out of both halves of the severed torso, violently dragging the two pieces back together. In a matter of seconds, flesh and bone violently fused. The monster had completely healed itself yet again.
The Intimacy Misunderstanding
Inside the rubble of the warehouse, Malesh was still sitting against the shattered steel beam. Miraculously, despite being punched through three solid concrete buildings, he was still holding Silvisa tightly in his arms. She had instinctively death-gripped his suit collar during the flight, and Malesh had been too physically exhausted to drop her.
Silvisa, covered in dust but completely unharmed, slowly opened her eyes and looked up at Malesh's bleeding, deadpan face.
Her heart suddenly skipped a beat. What would happen if someone is like a true savior? she thought, gazing at him. The sheer, overwhelming trauma of the monster attack and the cinematic reality of being shielded by a powerful billionaire flooded her brain. A deep, heavy blush spread violently across her cheeks. He is so brave. He held onto me through all those walls...
SCREEEEECH!
A heavy steam-car violently smashed through the remaining shattered wall of the warehouse, skidding to a chaotic halt in the middle of the rubble.
The doors flew open. Kniya, Salesh, and Filoska scrambled out, panting and covered in a fine layer of dust from their high-speed pursuit.
Kniya immediately locked his eyes onto Malesh, who was sitting in the debris, covered in blood, with a heavily blushing woman clutched in his arms.
Kniya gasped loudly, pointing an aggressively accusatory finger at his business partner.
"I knew it! I knew that you are that kind of guy, Malesh!" Kniya yelled triumphantly, completely ignoring the giant, shrieking monster outside. "Salesh and Filoska, you were actually right! I should have doubted Malesh in the first place! Look at him! The intimacy process is fully active!"
"See?!" Salesh yelled, vindicated.
"Malesh, you shouldn't have done this!" Kniya lectured loudly, placing his hands on his hips. "This is highly unprofessional for an executive onboarding session!"
Malesh stared at them, bleeding profusely from his forehead, completely unable to find the words to express his profound hatred for all three of them.
The Limitless Punch
Before Kniya could issue a formal HR warning, the air behind him violently warped.
The fully healed, infuriated monster had completely ignored the swordsman and teleported directly behind the loudest person in the room. The demon raised its freshly regenerated, massive longsword, preparing to slice Kniya entirely in half from behind.
"Kniya, behind you!" Filoska screamed.
Kniya didn't even flinch. Highly annoyed by the sudden interruption, his street-instincts and the biological density of the Limitless serum instantly took over.
Kniya casually spun around on his heel, planted his incredibly expensive leather shoe into the concrete, and threw a colossal, full-force right hook directly into the monster's kneecap.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The impact was absolutely catastrophic. The sheer, terrifying kinetic force of Kniya's punch folded the monster's leg backward. The twelve-foot demon was violently blasted across the warehouse floor, its massive body slithering and violently smashing deep into a solid concrete foundation block, completely trapping it in the rubble.
Kniya aggressively dusted off his knuckles and adjusted his tailored coat.
"Who the fuck is this poor guy with the sword, and who the fuck is this poor fucking monster?!" Kniya yelled, looking around the utterly destroyed warehouse. "What the fuck is happening right now?! And wait a minute..."
Kniya squinted at the demon currently embedded in the concrete wall.
"This monster is from my novel!" Kniya realized, his jaw dropping in pure confusion. "It's from The Fart Land City! How did it come into real life?!"
