Then, Fate's Followers brought Asami's dead body in the courtyard.
Akarum, Flint and Kashime turned to stare at them as they closed the coffin and formed a circle around the coffee though their expressions were neutral.
In a flash every memory with Asami flashed before Flint's eyes, the way she always scold him and Noyu for fighting with eachother, yet it never felt bad instead they intensionally used to fight just to see her reaction. However, at the end of the day she uses to fail to stay mad at them, always forcing them to eat if they sulk.
"Now I realise how much important her presence was in my life." Flint muttered as the realization was too heavy to bear.
"Her soul may rest in peace." Fate's Followers sung before they moved to lift the coffin.
Why don't they believe me ? I didn't kill her.
Akarum glanced at Kashime then at Flint, her clutched his fists on his sides in frustration.
Then, Fate's Followers bagen to take the coffin away, to Flint it was like they were taking a part of him.
"Don't again so anything stupid." Kashime's voice was barely above a whisper, her eyes locked with Flint's in concern as what she had done last time was still fresh in her memory.
As Fate's Followers went out of the Kaatoumo, Flint moved after them, Kashime followed them, he stopped outside just to keep looking at the coffin Kashime as well paused near him. She didn't say anything.
She stepped closer to him and hugged him from behind, Flint let out a surprised gasp.
"Flint." She whispered.
*Kashi, she left me. She was worried if I leave her, but...."
Tears rolled down his cheeks, as he turned behind to face her, Kashime loosened her grip at his movement.
He hugged her tightly, his arms wrapped around her waist, slight blush spread on Kashime's face.
"Don't worry." She didn't pull back." I am with you, and I will never leave you alone in this world."
She wiped his tears with her thumb, he pulled back gently.
She felt his arms absence on her waist.
It's a very weird feeling.
Flint turned to look at Fate's Followers but they were already out of sight, so. He turned and Kashime and Flint both came back in courtyard.
As his gaze found Akarum, he immediately averted it.
"I don't want to see him, tell him to go."
Kashime flinched at the demand, Akarum was still standing in his place, he clutched his teeth as anger took over his reason side.
"You will get prisoned for what you did." Flint meet Akarum's gaze with burning eyes.
"Why would I be prisoned ?" Akarum snapped."for something I never did!"
"You killed her." Flint threw his right hand as anger began to take control of his senses.
"Don't fight." Kashime said though her interruption has no affect.
"I didn't, you are just slamming a label of killer on my forehead."
Akarum shouted.
"Get out of my place, it's not yours." Flint snapped back immediately showing his hand toward the gates.
"Why would I ?" Akarum clutched his fists harder almost painfully.
"Because it's mine." Flint stepped forward, his muscles tightened." Or are you planning to take this too ?"
Akarum bristled at the implication." You killed Sinu. You are a killer too."
"So, you do accept your crime." Flint's voice suddenly calm as he had caught the "too."
"I didn't kill her." Akarum fatigued, his voice coming out hesitant, slip had flipped the situation. He was feeling mentally trapped now."but you killed my father, why did you not get punishment ? Do laws favour Lights ?"
Kashime was watching them, unable to do anything.
Why are they fighting ? I.. I don't want that. It should be a happy, little family that's the only thing I had wished and yet it's.... destroyed...by the cruel life.
She lifted his gaze to look at Flint who was arguing with Akarum with his all being.
"It shouldn't be like this."
"Why is my life like this ? First, my position, kids, then my sister, now this. I just want to live in peace with Flint, with Akarum, with my sister, with brother."
She was slipping away in her imagination, in her thoughts however it was broken by Akarum's voice.
"It has happened because of you." Akarum accuserd a finger at Flint, his eyes wide.
Flint was about to respond to that but then Kashime blocked his mouth with her palm while her other hand was grabbing his waist, the sudden act has caught him off guard.
"Stop arguing." She said in his ear."Now go inside before I do something."
The idea of her snapping ran a shiver down his spine as he has experienced that when they were children, her current personality was stable compared to her childhood one. She uses to throw anything she could grab and not even relaxed until she actually the person who made her angry.
"Now go." She frees him then Flint moved inside awkwardly though he still glared at Akarum as if giving a warning that he will take his revenge.
"Mysterious One." She called without meeting his gaze, her gaze was fixed on Flint's back.
Akarum waited.
She had stopped calling me that, why all of sudden that title ?
"Can you please leave ?"
The request was like a blow to Akarum that he wasn't expecting to come atleast not from Kashime, Kashime's fingers were fatiguing.
When Flint disappeared inside, she met Akarum's gaze, her heart was racing if it was possible she might have avoided this intense moment, but she can't.
"I don't think so you will get prisoned." Kashime paused." So, don't worry."
Akarum let her continue, he didn't interrupt, his fists loosened. His tongue refused to let any word come out. It was like the world has stopped for him.
"Because Liyoku won't let that happen.m and I am your guardian according to the papers." She folded her arms over her chest just to stop her hands from shaking.
"So, you can't go, that's why we will go to General Center first to remove that." She paused swallowing hard before continuing.
"You can tell amas much as story you want to but at the end everyone will know Aunty is no longer in this world, Fate's Followers will tell everyone about that."
She took a deep breath.

Before Akarum could finish his sentence, Kashime interrupted.
"Because some people." Kashime glanced at the door from where Flint has gone inside." Are more important to me then." She turned her gaze back to Akarum." Anyone else."
"As you wish, I will leave afterward." Akarum had been defeated, defeated by words only.
Akarum stepped near her, heading to General Center he stopped near her.
"You never cared about me. It truly was all just papers, all performace." He didn't wait for her response, he was already heading toward the gates, Kashime didn't follow him immediately, she lowered her head, she was disgusted, disgusted at herself that how quickly she took the decision then she turned and started to follow him.
"Forgive me."
Her words were barely audible.
