Chapter 300 - Chapter 300 Making a Contract With Beatrice

"In that case, make a spirit contract with Betty. If you dare abandon Betty, Betty will definitely kill you. If you can't, then don't come find Betty again." Hearing Takeru's words, Beatrice spoke seriously.

"That's fine. If Betty is worried, I'm willing to make a contract with you, guaranteeing I will never abandon you." Looking at Beatrice, Takeru could sense the unease in her heart, so his eyes unconsciously showed tenderness.

Sensing the sincerity and care in Takeru's tone, Beatrice pressed her lips together and extended her right hand. Seeing this, Takeru grasped her hand with his left, their fingers interlocking.

As a light glowed, Takeru received a prompt from the Reincarnation Space.

[Ding! The Great Spirit Beatrice of this world wishes to form a permanent contract with you, pledging eternal loyalty, never to part, until death. You cannot actively abandon her. Do you agree to form the contract?]

[Note: Contracting the Great Spirit Beatrice requires B-Rank evaluation x1, 10,000 points. After contracting, you may summon Beatrice in the main world at will, or in mission worlds (Note: Summoning in mission worlds consumes a certain amount of points).]

Hearing this, Takeru was stunned. He hadn't expected such a prompt. Contracting required evaluations and points is normal, but being able to take her directly to the main world made Takeru smile lightly.

On the other side, Beatrice, not receiving Takeru's response for a while, grew puzzled and frowned at him.

'Was Takeru backing out?'

"I agree!" Before she could think further, Takeru directly chose. As his words fell, Takeru felt an inexplicable connection with Beatrice. If he willed it, he could easily sense her presence.

When Takeru agreed, the Reincarnation Space quickly deducted the evaluation and points, reminding Takeru he now had: S-Rank evaluation x1, C-Rank evaluation x1, D-Rank evaluation x1! Points: 98,000.

Though it cost a B-Rank evaluation and 10,000 points, for Takeru, this saved a Character Manifestation Card, which was a huge gain.

As for Beatrice, after Takeru spoke, she felt a connection with him. Additionally, some special information flooded her mind… basic information about the Reincarnation Space.

Reading about the Reincarnation Space and Takeru's identity, Beatrice was stunned, 'So, Takeru wasn't from this world… no wonder he was so different...'

'But that wasn't important. What mattered was that from now on, I would never be alone again.'

"Takeru... Takeru..." Thinking this, tears quickly fell from Beatrice's eyes.

"I'm here." Seeing the crying Beatrice, Takeru held her tightly in his arms.

"Takeru..." Feeling Takeru's warm embrace, Beatrice hugged him back tightly.

"Mm-hmm, I'm here." Hearing her repeatedly call his name, as if carving it into her soul, Takeru gently responded each time.

After a long while, Beatrice's emotions finally calmed.

"Alright, from now on, Betty belongs to me." After the contract, Takeru gently ruffled her hair.

"Mm-hmm." Hearing Takeru, Beatrice now nodded lightly, completely opening her heart to him.

Then, Takeru held her and lay down on the small bed, while Beatrice nestled contentedly in his arms.

In the blink of an eye, three days passed...

In three days, through Takeru's efforts, he had mastered most of the magic in the Forbidden Library.

As for the small portion that was less useful or repetitive, Takeru didn't learn it. Additionally, Roswaal brought three new maids.

Two ordinary demi-human girls and a former maid, Frederica Baumann, also a demi-human and somewhat a senior to Ram and the others.

After arriving and finding Ram and Rem transferred to Takeru, she was greatly shocked.

Now, Ram and Rem only needed to serve Takeru and Felt diligently. They could also use anything in the mansion freely.

Moreover, Ram's horn was almost fully restored. At the current rate, in just two more days, it would be completely healed. Then, Ram would become one of this world's top-tier combatants.

Under Beatrice's guidance, Felt also began learning magic. With the Wind Blessing, unsurprisingly, her attribute was wind, and she learned wind magic very naturally.

Today, because Takeru had been busy with training, somewhat neglecting Felt, and due to intense studying, everyone agreed to go out for a good outing, to relax a bit.

But compared to the distant capital, they decided to first explore the area around Roswaal's territory and buy some supplies.

With more people in the mansion, resource consumption increased, and food supplies were running low.

However, that wasn't the key. Takeru clearly knew that, barring accidents, a Beast Master had likely infiltrated the village, planning to avenge Elsa. Such an opportunity to likely increase his score wasn't something Takeru would miss.

"Doesn't Roswaal have his own maids? Why do we have to buy ingredients for him?" Walking on the beautiful flower-lined path, Beatrice spoke haughtily.

"Well, we've been troubling him, so helping occasionally isn't bad. Besides, we eat most of the food. Also, going out for a walk is nice, right?" Hearing her, Takeru said with a light laugh.

"Hmph, I can't argue with you!" Hearing Takeru, Beatrice was speechless.

Further back, Ram and Rem obediently followed behind Takeru and the others. Although Takeru had only been studying and healing Ram recently, the two sisters' favor towards him kept rising.

For Ram, being held by Takeru for daily treatment and treated gently naturally increased her favor.

As for Rem, it's because of her sister. Rem, who valued her sister immensely, saw Takeru diligently healing Ram every day, so her favor rose quickly too.

Since Emilia needed to learn etiquette, she couldn't join Takeru today. Though a small shame, it wasn't a big deal.

The mansion wasn't far from the village, but with a leisurely mindset, they strolled towards the village, taking about an hour to arrive.

"Takeru-sama, usually, we buy daily necessities there." Looking at Takeru, Rem directly pointed to a building.

"I see. Then, purchasing items will be up to you. We'll stroll around the village." Hearing her, Takeru said with a light laugh.

"Understood." Hearing Takeru, they had no objections and nodded obediently.

While Takeru strolled with Felt and Beatrice, he sensed the destruction of the barriers Roswaal had set up… barriers meant to defend against Witchbeasts.

Witchbeasts were creatures created by Witches, enemies of those with magic. The forest before Takeru was a habitat for these beasts.

As Takeru and the others looked at the forest, several children curiously gathered around.

"Eh? Big brother, big sister, are you also from the Margrave's household?"

"Mm-hmm, you could say that. Kids, what are your names?" Looking at them, Takeru showed a friendly smile.

"I'm Lucas!"

"I'm Petra!"

"I'm Mild!" ...

Hearing Takeru, the children enthusiastically told their names. For some reason, they found Takeru very approachable.

"Is that so? I'm Nara Takeru. This is my little sister, Felt. And this is Betty." Hearing their introductions, Takeru said with a light laugh.

"Lucas, Petra, could you step away for a moment? I have something to discuss with Meili." Then, Takeru directly spoke to the children.

"Eh? Really?" Hearing Takeru, they didn't doubt at all and obediently stepped back.
