Chapter 124 - Chapter 124: The Keeper of Records

The underground hall fell completely silent.

Ancient runes glowed steadily across the chamber walls while the floating silver sphere pulsed softly above the circular platform. Dust drifted through the cold air beneath the towering stone pillars, illuminated faintly by the spreading light.

Nobody moved.

Nobody even breathed loudly.

Because the voice that had echoed through the ruins did not sound mechanical.

It sounded aware.

Dev slowly leaned closer toward Raghav.

"If an ancient ghost elder appears, I'm leaving immediately."

"Quiet," Raghav muttered.

"For once in my life, I'm serious."

The silver sphere pulsed again.

Then thin streams of light descended slowly toward the center platform beneath it.

The energy gathered gradually, forming the outline of a humanoid figure.

Transparent.

Composed entirely of silver particles.

An ancient projection

Ananya instinctively tightened her grip on her weapon.

The surrounding spiritual pressure intensified slightly as the figure became clearer.

Long robes covered in star-like patterns.

Silver hair flowing to the waist.

Eyes that glowed softly like moonlit crystals.

The projection appeared human

Yet carried an overwhelming sense of age.

Professor Devika stared upward in disbelief.

"A consciousness preservation formation..."

Even her voice sounded quieter now.

"Impossible."

Krishak remained calm.

No hostility radiated from the projection.

Only observation.

The figure's gaze slowly moved across the chamber before finally stopping on Krishak.

The silver eyes flickered faintly.

"Starheart resonance detected."

Silence

Then the projection bowed slightly.

"Successor acknowledged."

Every person inside the hall froze.

Dev pointed dramatically toward Krishak.

"I knew you were secretly involved in ancient civilization nonsense."

Nobody responded.

Because the atmosphere had become too heavy for humor to fully work anymore.

The projection straightened slowly.

"I am Record Keeper Seven of the Northern Stellar Archive."

Its voice echoed calmly throughout the enormous chamber.

"This facility has remained dormant for twelve thousand, four hundred and sixteen years.

Even hearing such a number felt surreal.

Human civilization itself had barely preserved reliable records that far back.

Yet this place had endured in silence beneath the mountains the entire time.

Ishita stepped forward carefully.

"You're alive?"

The projection looked toward her briefly.

"Negative."

"For biological continuity purposes, this unit perished during the Sealing Era."

A faint pause followed.

"What remains is a preserved consciousness imprint."

Raghav's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Then why activate now?"

The silver projection turned back toward Krishak.

"Because the planetary seal network is destabilizing."

The chamber grew colder.

Not physically.

Emotionally.

The floating sphere above the platform suddenly projected dozens of glowing symbols across the air.

Ancient maps.

Formation structures.

Lines connecting hidden locations across Earth.

Several symbols flickered weakly.

Others had already gone dark completely.

"The planetary defense system continues operating at thirty-eight percent capacity," the Keeper explained calmly.

"Failure acceleration detected during recent awakening cycles."

Professor Devika immediately began

recording everything through her device.

"These are the seal locations?"

"Partial network locations only."

The Keeper's gaze shifted toward the holographic map.

"Several primary facilities were destroyed during the final conflict."

Krishak observed the floating projections silently.

Unlike the prison chamber records, these maps were far more detailed.

And far more concerning.

Because the network extended across the entire planet.

Ancient Earth had truly been transformed into a sealed world after the cosmic war.

Ananya looked toward the projection carefully.

"What exactly were the seals protecting Earth from?"

For the first time, the Keeper remained silent slightly longer than before.

Then it answered.

"External dimensional detection."

The room became still.

"The ancient enemy civilizations possessed methods capable of tracing spiritual worlds through cosmic resonance." the Keeper continued.

"After the collapse of the Stellar Alliance,

Earth could no longer survive direct exposure.

Its glowing eyes dimmed faintly.

"So humanity was hidden."

Dev rubbed his forehead slowly.

"That sentence somehow made everything worse again."

Nobody disagreed.

The Keeper raised one translucent hand.

The floating map shifted immediately.

Several new symbols appeared across the projection.

Unlike the seal locations, these markers glowed brighter.

Stable.

Active.

"These facilities remain partially functional."

Krishak's eyes focused immediately.

Ancient archives.

Inheritance halls.

Formation vaults.

Training grounds.

All hidden across Earth.

Raghav looked toward the projection sharply.

"These places contain ancient knowledge?"

"Yes."

"Then why not reveal them earlier?"

The Keeper's expression remained unchanged.

Because humanity was not ready."

Silence followed those words.

Heavy silence.

Because everyone understood the implication behind them.

The ancient civilization had intentionally hidden its inheritance from future humanity.

Not out of cruelty.

But caution.

Professor Devika slowly lowered her recording device.

"What changed now?"

The Keeper looked toward Krishak once more.

Then answered quietly.

"The stars have begun responding again."

The chamber dimmed faintly.

Silver light drifted slowly around the floating sphere above.

"For thousands of years," the Keeper continued, "Earth remained spiritually dormant."

Its gaze moved across the chamber.

"But the Great Awakening has accelerated beyond projected timelines."

The floating maps shifted again.

This time displaying spreading spiritual fluctuations across modern Earth.

"The sealing era is ending."

Nobody spoke.

Because even after everything they had already learned

Hearing it stated so directly felt overwhelming.

Krishak finally stepped forward.

"What happens if the seals fail completely?"

The Keeper's silver eyes reflected the glowing maps silently for a moment.

Then it answered.

"Earth rejoins the cosmos.

A pause.

"And the cosmos notices Earth."
