The next day, while William and Elenor were away at their office for work, Dennis, Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne—along with Destiny, whom he was cradling—were relaxing in the living room after taking turns for a quick session in the training room. "Ding... dong," the doorbell suddenly rang. Dennis stood up, walked to the door, and peeked through. The person standing on the other side looked like a hunter, fully geared up with weapons, and there were two others behind him. Curious, Dennis cracked the door open slightly, though he kept the security chain engaged.
"Can I help you?" Dennis asked.
Before they could answer, he caught a glimpse of Chad standing in the driveway with a smirk on his face. He knew right then and there that these three hunters were up to no good. He shut the door, unlatched the chain, then stepped outside and closed the door behind him.
"What do you want?" Dennis's tone had completely shifted.
