The first time someone called me Your Majesty, I nearly dropped my breakfast.
I stared at the young servant standing beside the dining table, wondering whether I had heard her correctly. She bowed her head again.
"Your breakfast, Your Majesty."
"Are you talking to me?" The girl's cheeks turned pink.
"Yes, Your Majesty." I blinked.
I was too stunned to speak. She placed the tray before me and hurried away. I stared at the food and the at the door.
A laugh escaped me. I wasn't even queen yet.
Hades had only just agreed to accept the Crown, and the formal announcement had not been made. But apparently, the news had spread through the pack faster than I thought.
The door opened and Carina walked in. She pulled out the chair opposite me and sat down.
"Why do you look shocked"
"Someone just addressed me as your majesty" Carina laughed.
