Her breaths came in heavy, uneven pulls but he didn't stop. He kept moving against her, drawing out every last wave of her release, refusing to let it fade too quickly.
Only when her body began to tremble from the intensity did he finally pull away.
She writhed softly against the sheets, her chest rising and falling as he settled between her parted thighs, his gaze dark and burning as it traced every inch of her flushed, glistening skin.
She looked… devastating.
Like something made to ruin him.
For a moment, all he wanted was to lose himself in her completely to bury himself in her warmth and never come back up.
But instead, he forced himself to move.
Reaching for the duvet, he gently draped it over her body, covering her despite everything that still raged inside him. No matter how badly he wanted her, he wouldn't take without her willing surrender.
Her eyes fluttered open, glassy and unfocused as they found him.
