**Day 19 – Noon – Weapon Shop?**
It was less a weapon shop and more like a stall? Some kind of traveling merchant? Kind of shabby, isn't it?
"This place deals in problem items and weird stuff that normal shops won't touch. It's a shop for guys like you, kid."
I see. Normal weapons from normal shops can't be equipped normally anyway, so of course it's a shady shop! Hey!
I have Appraisal, but I'm not exactly knowledgeable about weapons. Well, let's take a look…

Hmm, right off the bat we've got Mr. Question Mark. Does this mean I should just collect the entire ? series?

Nope. Absolutely not. Once I put these on there's no going back… hyahaa~ and all that.

Holds seven what? A necklace version of the item bag? Wait, nothing fits in it? Defective product?
"Holds seven"? Actually, ever since Appraisal hit Lv5 the same description had shown up on Villager A's equipment, but it wasn't the item bag. What does it even mean?
Apparently the cloak?, leather gloves?, leather boots?, cloth clothes?, and tree staff? — those five items — all say "holds seven." Same series?
"Shopkeeper, what's this Necklace of Seven? What exactly does it hold seven of?"
I asked the extremely suspicious hooded shopkeeper. Even if I don't buy anything I can still get information, and asking is free.
"It's an item that lets you combine equipment. You can put up to seven different necklaces in it and get the effects of all seven, but each effect is reduced to thirty percent."
Ah, this is a convenient item. Once you start stacking poison resistance, sleep resistance, and so on you run out of slots. This would let me get seven resistances at once, even if it's only thirty percent each.
I want it, but thirty percent… a 100% poison resistance becomes 30%… it's iffy. Still, better than nothing. Problem is I don't have any other necklaces.
Having money makes me want to buy it just because it might be useful later.
No, more importantly, the Lodging Tree Vine series. Right now my only weapon is the tree staff?. If it gets strengthened I want it, even if I don't know how much. The original strength is unknown anyway.
Even so, if it makes it stronger I should buy it. I can't use any other weapons… so it's my top candidate for now.
"Magic Reflection Cloak – Reflects magic"
This is good. I haven't taken any magic attacks yet, but if the level wall means I can't resist magic, this would be useful.
And since it's a cloak it probably counts as the cloak? slot, so I still have six slots left.
It probably doesn't reflect completely, but combined with levels and skills it could be a trump card against magic. I'm buying this. It'll probably be expensive, but I'll take it.
Thinking that way, the staff or cloak, plus clothes, gloves, and boots are the ones to get. Let's search.

Hey, "Boots of Anti-Snake – +30% damage to snake-type monsters." Snake binding? But maybe I'll struggle against snakes?… +30% damage on boots probably only applies to kicks, so it might be useless. In that case a plain "Fire Staff +10%" would be more effective, but +10% means +20% or +30% versions will probably show up soon and it'll feel like a waste…
