Ginyu snorted, striking a pose. "Hmph! You lot clearly don't understand the pinnacle of art! Isn't this dance step magnificent? Though, I suppose it is still slightly inferior to my own signature choreography."

Jeice's eyes lit up as he adjusted his Scouter. "Captain, I think we can actually learn this Fusion Dance! If we master it, our power levels will skyrocket. We'll be able to serve Lord Frieza better than ever before!"

"Indeed," Ginyu mused, tapping his chin. "But this Fusion technique has strict limitations; it requires synchronized Ki, similar body types, and equal power levels. None of you can fuse with me, but Jeice and Burter—or perhaps Burter and Recoome—might just pull it off."

"Captain, we'll start practicing immediately!" Recoome shouted, his massive frame trembling with excitement. Jeice and Burter were equally eager. After watching the video transmission, they were ready to begin. Was the dance embarrassing? They didn't think so. In their eyes, the Fusion Dance looked incredibly stylish.

Across the multiverse, others who witnessed the technique felt the same. Sure, the movements were a bit ridiculous, but the lure of absolute power was far more intoxicating than a moment of shame. If they could truly master this and unleash the devastating might of a fused warrior, let the scholars and critics debate the aesthetics later.

The real question remained: could those outside the Dragon Ball World actually harness Ki to perform it? The movements were simple enough to memorize with practice, but the resulting power of such a union remained a mystery.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Son Goten and Trunks were showing zero motivation for their training. Their young minds were preoccupied; they wanted to see the legendary Super Saiyan 3 transformation with their own eyes. Goku eventually relented, agreeing to show them on one condition: they had to train with everything they had afterward. The boys eagerly agreed.

Goku took a deep breath, his golden aura erupting once more as he pushed his Ki to the limit, manifesting the long-haired, browless form of Super Saiyan 3. The raw pressure of his energy shook the very foundations of the lookout, but the strain was immense.

This transformation drained his remaining life energy at an accelerated rate. Fortuneteller Baba soon appeared, her voice grim as she informed him he had only thirty minutes left in the living world. When the time expired, Goku bid a heavy farewell to his friends and family, vanishing as he returned to the Other World.

Upon arriving at the Check-In Station, Goku immediately questioned King Yemma about Gohan's whereabouts. "Has my son arrived yet?"

"No," King Yemma replied without looking up from his ledger.

Goku felt a surge of hope. If Gohan wasn't in the Other World, he was still alive! But confusion quickly followed—if his son was alive, why couldn't Goku sense his Ki anywhere on Earth? Suddenly, Goku froze. A familiar, powerful Ki flickered from a place he never expected. Locking onto the signature, he placed two fingers to his forehead and used Instant Transmission.

He materialized in the sacred Kaioshin Realm.

"The training Gohan underwent in the Realm of the Gods had nothing to do with Super Saiyan 3," Akira explained, his tactical mind analyzing the shift in the narrative. "Instead, it focused on a unique state of being. This state is known as Mystic Gohan—or Ultimate Gohan. Since both this form and Super Saiyan 3 debuted during the Majin Buu Saga, I will analyze them as two sides of the same coin."

The revelation sent shockwaves through the viewers.

"Mystic Gohan?" Admiral Sengoku muttered, crossing his arms. "A state rather than a transformation? Is this fundamentally different from the Super Saiyan line?"

Duanmu Yan leaned forward, intrigued. "It looks like this power is tailor-made for Gohan's specific potential."

Piccolo, watching from his universe, felt a rare smile touch his lips. "I knew it. Gohan wouldn't just fade away. His moment to shine is finally back!" Piccolo had spent years frustrated, watching Gohan neglect his training to pursue academics. This was the boy who had surpassed Goku and obliterated Cell at only nine years old. To see him decline was heartbreaking, but now, the promise of 'Mystic' power suggested a comeback that might even eclipse his father's Super Saiyan 3.

In the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 7, Kibito was losing his mind. "Son Goku actually reached this realm? And he did it on his own!" His face was pale with disbelief. The Kaioshin Realm was the most sacred land in existence; even the Grand Kai required an invitation. To have a mortal simply teleport onto the sacred soil was an unprecedented breach of divine protocol.

"Saiyans are truly a miraculous race," the Supreme Kai remarked, his tone more resigned than angry. He had grown used to these mortals shattering every law of godhood. As long as they protected the peace of the universe, he was content to let his pride slide.

Goku quickly caught Gohan up on the crisis on Earth before his gaze fell upon the Z Sword. Hearing legends that it was the sharpest, heaviest blade in existence, Goku decided to test its mettle. First, he had Gohan slice through a massive boulder, which the Z Sword handled like butter.

Seeking a greater challenge, the Supreme Kai summoned a cube of Katchin—the densest, hardest metal in Universe 7. "Try this," he urged. Goku hurled the metal cube at high speed toward his son. Gohan swung with a mighty cry, but instead of a clean cut, a sickening crack echoed through the realm.

The legendary Z Sword had snapped in half.

The Supreme Kai and Kibito stood frozen in horror. The "indestructible" relic was ruined. Gohan, trying to stay positive, noted that wielding the heavy sword had at least massively increased his physical strength. Just as the Supreme Kai began to nod, trying to salvage the situation, a raspy, ancient voice cut through the air.

"Of course that wasn't the sword's only function!"

The group spun around to see a shriveled, elderly man in Supreme Kai robes standing near the broken blade. He introduced himself as the Old Kai, the Supreme Kai from fifteen generations ago, who had been sealed within the sword for eons. He immediately began boasting of his incredible wisdom and secret powers.

Goku, ever the skeptic, squinted at the frail old man. To test him, Goku casually tossed a small Ki blast toward the elder. The Old Kai didn't move—he couldn't. The blast clipped him, leaving him tumbling on the ground. Goku and Gohan exchanged a disappointed look. It seemed this "Ultimate" ancestor was nothing more than a loud-mouthed old man.
