Chapter 192: Diyari's Devotion

An early morning, filled with profound tranquility, drifted over the verdant hill. Sunlight glided gently between the leaves of the trees, weaving a golden tapestry upon the walls of the wooden house. Long before the first rays could reach the interior of the room, Diyari had already awakened. He was no longer the warrior whose mind was occupied only by the weight of a sword and the sturdiness of a shield; now, his entire world was condensed within the confines of the room where Rina slept. With an immense silence, as if he did not wish to stir even the air itself, Diyari rose from beside her. He gazed at Rina's peaceful face, which had acquired a unique radiance during her pregnancy—a glow that even the pure white light could not emulate.

Diyari moved slowly toward the small kitchen. His first task was the preparation of the medicinal herbs that Arian had told him were essential for Rina's health. With great precision, he poured cold spring water into a clay vessel and set it over a low flame. Every movement Diyari made was steeped in tenderness; the man who once stood against a great army now used his large hands with delicate grace to cook a special soup that Rina loved. He knew that Rina would tire easily in these early stages, and so he had resolved not to let her lift even a finger for any household chore.

When Rina opened her eyes, the aroma of warm bread and fragrant herbs had filled the entire room. Before she could even attempt to rise, Diyari was standing before her, adjusting her pillow. "Good morning, Queen of Light," Diyari said in a low voice full of affection. Rina gave a tired smile and said, "Diyari, have you risen early again? There is no need to exhaust yourself so much." But Diyari only shook his head and brought her a bowl of warm soup. "My exhaustion is nothing compared to yours. You are carrying a new life for us, and I am merely the guardian of that life."

Diyari did not only prepare food; every evening, with the utmost loyalty, he dedicated himself to providing her with peace. While he worked, he would tell her beautiful stories or speak of the dreams he held for their child's future. Rina felt that Diyari's golden light was no longer just an external energy, but a warmth that traveled directly into her soul, granting her serenity. Sometimes, when Rina could not sleep at night due to the strange new sensations within her body, Diyari would place his hand in hers and sit silently by her side until morning, offering prayers for her.

In the courtyard of the house, Diyari had crafted a special swing covered with soft feathers and pieces of silk cloth. Every day at noon, he would take Rina there to breathe the fresh air. Diyari himself would hold a parasol for her so the sun's rays would not bother her; though Rina was the daughter of light, Diyari wanted everything to be handled with extreme kindness. He had even begun planting the flowers whose scent Rina found most pleasing, so that whenever she opened the window, she would feel a sense of calm. This care was not merely a duty, but a deep love that reflected in every detail of their lives.

Whenever Rina spoke of the movements and new feelings within her, Diyari listened with intense passion. In those moments, Diyari's eyes would shimmer. During this time, Diyari had learned many things about how to serve a pregnant woman; he asked the elderly women of the village how to provide the best environment for her. He had even begun carving pieces of wood to create necessary items that no one else in the world would possess. Diyari's kindness was not found only in words, but also in those silences when Rina felt uneasy, where Diyari would reassure her with only his eyes.

Diyari had added every detail to the house to make life easier for Rina. He had attached handrails to the walls for Rina to lean on while walking, and he had smoothed all the sharp corners of the wooden furniture so she would not be harmed. He even woke up several times during the night to ensure Rina was well-covered and that the air was not too cold. When Arian witnessed these scenes, he would say with a smile, "Diyari, you have not only become the protector of light, but you have become a master of love as well." These words made Diyari happier because he knew he had chosen the right path.

In the first months, Diyari no longer went anywhere that required much time. He even reduced his hunting, focusing only on his garden and serving Rina. He would say, "I want to see every second of these changes." He spoke to Rina with kindness, telling her of the beautiful world they had built together. Rina felt that she became calm through that voice, overcoming all her fears. This connection, woven by Diyari's gentleness, was the strongest magic in the world.

One night, a heavy rain fell, and Rina felt a temporary fear due to the sound of thunder. Diyari immediately went to her side and took both her hands. "Do not fear, Rina. The lightning is only the light trying to congratulate us. I am here, and nothing can disturb this peace." He stayed by her side until morning, telling her stories of the stars that wait behind the clouds to appear. Rina fell asleep in Diyari's arms, and there she understood that heaven is the kindness that exists between two people when one needs the other to be their support.

Diyari's care was not only for Rina; he was also preparing his own soul. He had cleansed all the old hatred and anger from his heart so that he could wait for the future with a pure heart. He told Rina, "I want you to feel only kindness, because our child already feels your heart." Rina felt more strength from these words. Together, they had become a complete unit that had made light and kindness their identity.

Whenever Rina craved a specific food, even if it was the middle of the night, Diyari would go into the forest or to the village to provide it for her. He took pleasure in being able to fulfill Rina's smallest desires. He said, "This is the least I can do for the person who changed the world for me." This peerless loyalty caused all the people of the region to speak of Diyari with admiration. The men of the village learned how to respect their families by seeing the example of Diyari.

Diyari had filled the room with glowing candles that cast a very soft light. He wanted the atmosphere to be so calm that Rina would feel no pressure. Diyari was not only a powerful king, but he became a capable and kind supporter as well. Every movement of his was a sign that love can change a person into the best version of themselves. He continued to watch over Rina with the finest attention, as if he had been entrusted with the world's most precious jewel.

When night fell, Diyari would place his hands in Rina's hands, and together they would watch the stars. He would say, "We are here, we are protected, and I lay down my entire life to protect you and this new life." Rina was comforted by these words and knew that no one could be as kind as Diyari. Diyari's care in this stage became the foundation for the peace that subsequently spread through their home. The light continued to shine, but this time, its warmth originated from the heart of Diyari's kindness.
