Seeing Aokawa activate his Byakugan, Uchiha Shisui had a faint inkling of what he was planning to do and cooperatively formed hand signs.

"The Sharingan possesses high insight, allowing it to clearly see the caster's hand sign sequence, and it can also see the flow of Chakra."
"Although it cannot see exactly which meridian the Chakra is in as clearly as the Byakugan, it can still roughly determine the direction of the Chakra flow."
"This is equivalent to the Ninjutsu caster being transparent in front of the Sharingan."

He had never heard of the Hyuga Clan's Byakugan having the ability to copy Ninjutsu.
Aokawa smiled. "You know that the Byakugan can see the flow of Chakra, to a point where even the Sharingan cannot compare."
"As for insight, do you think that being able to accurately hit tiny Chakra points thirty-two, sixty-four, or even one hundred and twenty times during high-speed movement would mean the Byakugan's insight is inferior to the Sharingan's?"
Uchiha Shisui reacted instantly upon hearing this.
That's right!
Since both conditions for copying Ninjutsu were met, how could the Byakugan possibly be unable to do it?
It was just that before this, he had never heard of the Hyuga Clan copying Ninjutsu, and his thinking had become rigid.
