Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: Katyusha's Ninja World Debut

The three of them kept low, weaving between the fortresses.

Aokawa's Byakugan was like high-precision radar, marking the positions of every warehouse sentry in advance.

Shisui and Guy's figures flickered through the shadows; Kunai sliced through throats without making a single sound.

After clearing the sentries at each warehouse, the three of them quickly began sticking Explosive Tags onto the piles of supply crates before moving to the next location.

Suddenly!

Aokawa detected an anomaly in the Chakra nearby. With a stir in his heart, he followed the guidance of the Reishi Network and slowly crept toward it.

It was the same kind of Genjutsu barrier. As he drew closer, a new supply warehouse appeared in his field of vision.

Crates of neatly stacked Explosive Tags, and bottles of tightly sealed ration pills.

There were also mountains of standard-issue Kunai, Shuriken, and Chakra Blades.

"Damn it! I was wondering why there was only food outside!" he cursed inwardly.

Seeing the dense patrols and the presence of sensory Ninjas, Aokawa abandoned his plan to infiltrate.

He turned back to find Shisui and Guy: "There's another core warehouse inside. All the Ninja Tools are in there."

"Then we'll finish tagging the outside before going in," Uchiha Shisui said, momentarily stunned by the news.

Aokawa shook his head: "The guards are too dense; we can't get in."

He stuffed the Explosive Tags in his hand into theirs and pointed to the outer supply piles: "You two are responsible for placing Explosive Tags on the outer supply crates, but don't detonate them. Leave the core area to me."

"You gave all the Explosive Tags to us, what about you?"

"I have my ways!" Aokawa said, glancing around before adding: "Once you're done tagging, run outward. I'll wait for you outside!"

The two watched Aokawa's figure racing toward the perimeter, looking at each other in confusion: "Didn't he say he'd handle the core area?"

Aokawa silently retreated to a high vantage point on a hillside on the outskirts of the warehouse district.

The view here was wide, perfectly overlooking the entire core warehouse.

Time passed bit by bit.

Uchiha Shisui and Might Guy quickly finished their task and followed the markers Aokawa left to reach his side.

"Aokawa, how are we going to deal with the core area!"

Aokawa didn't respond, looking toward the core warehouse disguised as a forest in the distance.

He raised his hand to summon the Spirit Bow. As he condensed Fire Release Chakra, scorching flames crawled across the entire bow, making it extremely bright in the night sky.

Uchiha Shisui and Might Guy both widened their eyes; this was the first time they had seen Aokawa's Spirit Bow in this form.

He pulled the bowstring, and a flame Chakra Arrow took shape, wrapped in white explosive seals.

"Fire Release: Hundred Consecutive Explosive Flame Arrows!"

The next moment, the Spirit Bow emitted a dazzling crimson light. The bowstring vibrated at high speed, producing a high-frequency hum.

Countless fiery-red energy arrows shot forth from the bowstring.

These arrows were also wrapped in dense, white explosive seals.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

The red rain of arrows pierced the night sky with a shrill whistle, like a sheet of flowing fire, accurately shooting toward that disguised forest.

The fragile Genjutsu barrier quickly dispersed under the disturbance of so much Fire Release Chakra, revealing the roof and walls of the entire core warehouse area... The night sky was dyed a deep ink-blue, with a few wisps of thin clouds drifting aimlessly.

Inside the core warehouse area, the rustling sound of patrol members' boots on gravel broke the suffocating silence with rhythmic regularity.

The night wind was chilly. A young Ninja subconsciously tightened his clothes, yawning as he followed his assigned patrol route with boredom.

Suddenly, he felt something and looked up at the night sky.

On the distant horizon, clusters of light points suddenly lit up, trailing crimson exhaust as they elegantly climbed upward, carving out countless parallel arcs.

"Wow! What a beautiful meteor shower."

"Silly kid, you must be so tired you're hallucinating. Where would a meteor shower come from in this season?" an older Ninja behind him replied in a low voice.

"Really, Senior, look!" The young Ninja pointed excitedly at the fiery-red lights streaking across the night sky: "It really is a meteor shower, and they're meteors going upward!"

"Meteors going upward?" The older Ninja looked up in confusion.

In his field of vision, those beautiful meteors in the night sky climbed to the zenith but did not vanish like normal meteors.

Instead, they paused slightly at the highest point, then adjusted their direction in an orderly fashion, drew an arc in the night sky, and began to dive toward the area where they were standing.

His pupils shrank violently, his face instantly filling with terror as he used all his strength to scream: "Enemy attack!"

The sharp scream shattered the silence of the entire warehouse complex. All patrol personnel tensed up, acting instinctively.

But it was too late!

The fiery-red arrows in the sky dove down rapidly, and in the blink of an eye, they were already before them.

BOOM!!!

The moment the first arrow hit, a violent explosion echoed through the entire forest.

Following closely were the second, third, fourth... countless crimson flame arrows dove down in a dense formation, turning into a series of explosions the moment they touched the defenseless earth.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

In the area covered by the red arrows, a series of violent and frantic roars sounded continuously; the earth vibrated madly under such a concentrated strike.

"Ah! Enemy attack..."

"My leg... my leg is broken..."

"Save me! Someone save me!"

Screams and cries for help rose and fell within the crowd, but they were instantly drowned out by even louder explosions.

The young Ninja from earlier watched as those beautiful meteors turned into an apocalyptic disaster in an instant. He froze in place, murmuring: "What is this..."

Yoshikawa Iwa stared at this scene, which looked like a natural disaster yet felt incredibly familiar.

After the initial shock, he reacted quickly and roared: "Don't panic! Defend! Defend quickly!"

Some experienced Chunin and Jonin also quickly snapped out of it, helping to shout and organize a defense.

"Earth Release: Earth Style Wall!"

"Water Release: Water Wall Technique!"

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

"..."

Throughout the core warehouse area, thick earth walls and water curtains rose from the ground.

Some Ninjas skilled in long-range attacks also began releasing their Ninjutsu toward the arrows that had not yet fallen from the night sky.

Under the organization of these veteran Ninjas, the chaotic scene gradually began to become orderly.

Although those hastily constructed defensive Ninjutsu were frequently blown apart, they did indeed intercept some arrows, making the lethality less terrifying than at the start.

On the hillside, Aokawa saw this and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

He slightly raised the Spirit Bow and began to extend the bombardment, aiming at the warehouses.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!!

The bombardment zone seemed to take on a life of its own as the boundary began to move inward, gradually covering the warehouse complex.

Under this dense bombardment, the sturdy Earth Release barriers on the warehouses lasted less than a few breaths before they were covered in cracks and collapsed with a bang.

Revealing the fragile wooden roofs of the warehouses beneath...
