A Life in the Hidden Leaf
Chapter 16 - Part 2
"All units. Maintain the inner corridors. Anyone who can still form a wall, do it. We are not folding."
Yasuo left the roof the way he came. The broken stair scraped under his sandals. Behind him her voice stayed on the channel, clipped and public, like the look she had just given him had never happened.
***
Naruto split.
Shadow clones popped into the smoke in a ragged line, not a crowd. Four bodies with his face, all of them breathing the same dusty air, all of them carrying enough Sage Mode to look real to a set of shared eyes. He sent two wide along the wrecked storefronts, one high across a leaning roof, one straight down the open stone.
"Don't bunch," he muttered, more to himself than the copies. "Make them look everywhere."
The Paths' heads turned together. Three cloaks, one set of eyes. Shared vision. He already knew that. Jiraiya had died to put that in his hands. He used it.
"Now," Fukasaku said, claws tight on his shoulder. "While they're tracking the extras. Don't admire it. Hit."
Naruto slammed the seals. Natural energy rolled through the signs. "Frog genjutsu!"
The song hit the nearest body — Asura Path, mid-reload, missiles half-cycled in the open casing of that rebuilt arm. For a second the mechanical arms locked. The head froze at a wrong angle. The Rinnegan stayed open and saw nothing useful.
Naruto was already off the line the clones had drawn. He came in from the blind angle the genjutsu bought him, feet skipping across broken tile, Rasengan screaming up in his palm. He drove it into the open seam at Asura's shoulder, the same gap the plating had shown when the arm first split.
This one did not get absorbed. Preta Path was a step too far left, pulled by a clone waving empty hands.
The sphere tore metal. The arm sheared off in a burst of chakra and black rods and screaming gears. Naruto's knuckles split on the follow-through, skin peeling back against the jagged casing. Ichor and oil hit his face, hot and foul. Asura Path staggered, the ruined shoulder spraying, and Naruto hit him again — no jutsu this time, just a heel into the chest hard enough to put the body through a standing wall. Brick exploded outward. The Path went through and hit the far side in a heap of cloak and broken machinery.
It did not get up right away.
Naruto's hands were shaking. Blood ran between his fingers and dripped onto the stone. He wiped his face with his forearm and only spread the oil. "One."
"That is one body," Fukasaku said, tight, almost in his ear. "The caster is still somewhere else. You know that. Finish this for Jiraiya. Do not get stupid and chase the next one down a straight street so the orange-haired one can throw you again."
"I'm not chasing." Naruto's orange eyes stayed on Deva Path. "I'm breaking the line."
Deva Path turned his head. No panic. No change in the empty look. He lifted a hand and the broken Asura body was already being covered by Preta stepping in, palms ready for the next thing Naruto was dumb enough to throw at the wrong target. The air started to warp, that familiar ugly bend before a push.
Naruto moved. Not straight. Not this time.
On the rim, a squad of chunin broke from cover and started a run at the open ground. Six of them, plus a lead jonin with a scarred vest and that look — someone had to do something, and the something was a straight charge at a man who could throw a street.
Yasuo cut across them before they cleared the last standing wall.
"Stop." He did not raise his voice. He did not need to. "That ground is a funnel. You go in there, he puts all of you on your backs and then he walks through what's left. Fall back to the inner barrier and hold it. Naruto's in there. You're not helping him by dying in front of him."
The jonin's jaw worked. "He's one kid against three of those things—"
"He's the reason those three things are looking that way instead of this way. You charge the open stretch, you become bodies he has to hear hit the ground. Inner line. Now."
The jonin stared at him, chest heaving. For a second it was going to be an argument. Rank. Pride. The need to do something that looked like fighting. Then another ripple of Shinra Tensei rolled out of the open ground and turned a row of storefronts into flying stone. The shock ran up through their sandals. The squad felt it in their teeth. Dust washed over them in a hot sheet.
"Back," the jonin said, voice rough. "Inner line. Now. Don't make me repeat it."
They went. They lived.
Yasuo did not watch them go. Naruto's chakra was still bright to the east. Sage Mode still held. The fight in the open was getting louder — metal, the crack of a push, Naruto swearing through blood.
Tsunade's voice came over the seals again, thinner at the edges than it had been on the roof. "East corridor, pull back ten meters. Katsuyu segments, expand cover. Do not let them split us. If you cannot hold the stone, you hold the people."
A pause. The channel stayed open a half-second too long. Then, quieter, not quite to the units: she needed a minute. She did not say the words. The fray in her voice said them anyway. Yasuo heard it.
He adjusted toward the big slug.
***
The giant slug's bulk cut the worst of the smoke. Green healing chakra rolled off its hide in slow waves, washing the rows of wounded packed behind it. Medics moved on short loops — seal, pass, next. Someone was crying through clenched teeth. Someone else was not making any sound at all. The air still smelled like blood, but it was cleaner than the street. Less ozone. Less burning wood.
Tsunade was already turning when Yasuo came around the curve. The Strength of a Hundred Seal burned dull on her forehead, still lit, still costing her. Her torn robe hung open down the front. Heavy tits sat full and flushed against the ruined cloth, the soft weight shifting with each breath, dark nipples wet where milk had soaked through again. The stains had spread since the roof. The fabric clung to her, transparent in patches, the smell of milk sitting under the smoke and antiseptic tags.
Between her thighs the earlier mess had gone slick and warm from walking. It showed in the way she stood, thighs not quite closed, ruined pants dark at the crotch. Her golden eyes hit him and the command mask slipped for a second. Hunger and exhaustion sat on her face with no apology. No speech. Just the look of a woman who had been giving orders with someone else's cum still in her and could not do another hour of it clean.
She did not talk to the medics. She grabbed his wrist hard enough to leave a mark and pulled him behind the slug's bulk, into the collapsed side of what used to be a supply room. One wall still stood. The roof was gone. Smoke drifted in through the missing ceiling. Distant explosions kept rolling. A runner's voice shouted for bandages on the other side of the slug and then faded.
Tsunade shoved him back into the standing wall hard enough to crack what plaster was left. Dust sifted down onto her hair. Her hands were already at his pants, yanking the cloth open with no patience and no preamble.
"I can't keep a thought in my head," she muttered, voice low and rough, almost angry at herself. "Every time I give an order I feel you leaking out of me from last time. It's running down my thighs and I'm standing there trying to sound like a Hokage. Shizune can see it. I can feel it every time I take a step."
She freed his

He pulled out slow. A thick mix of fresh cum and her own slick ran down the insides of her heavy thighs in long white trails. She dragged her pants up over it without wiping. The cloth darkened at once and clung to her skin. She fixed the robe as much as it would fix, heavy tits still leaking faintly into the fabric, and stepped back toward the open side of the slug on legs that were not entirely steady.
"Stay useful," she said over her shoulder. The command tone was already back. "I'll find you when I start slipping."
Yasuo fixed his clothes and went out the other way. The smell of milk and sex stayed in the ruined supply room behind him. The street did not care.
The open ground had gotten uglier.
Naruto was still in Sage Mode. The markings held. Orange eyes still had that half-beat of extra time. Asura Path was down and staying down for now, the ruined shoulder leaking black across the stone, one mechanical arm gone, the cloak torn open over bent plating. Preta Path had closed ranks with Deva, palms ready, body angled to eat whatever Naruto threw at the wrong target. Naruto's clones were thinner. Two left, then one. His hands were worse — knuckles split, oil and blood mixed in the creases.
"Don't stare at the one you broke," Fukasaku said, claws locked on his shoulder. "They'll restore it if you give them time. Keep them split. The orange-haired one wants you looking at the wreck."
"I'm trying." Naruto spat blood and grit. It hit the stone dark. "The orange-haired one just waits until I commit. Every time I come in straight he throws the street at me."
"Then stop committing in a straight line. You know what he is. You know what he isn't. Use the eyes they share against them."
Naruto moved anyway. A clone popped off his shoulder and ran left, hands already forming the start of a Rasengan loud enough to pull attention. Preta Path turned with it, hungry. Naruto cut right through the smoke and put a real Rasengan at Deva's guard — not to finish him, to make him spend the push. The sphere roared. Deva Path's hand came up on cue.
Shinra Tensei answered and threw the clone and half a storefront into the next street. Timber and tile went airborne. Naruto used the blast, kicked off a flying slab, and came in off-angle while the repulsion was still eating the decoy. He did not land the hit he wanted. The Rasengan scraped cloak and rod instead of chest. He landed close enough that Deva had to step, one boot sliding on broken stone, the empty Rinnegan tracking him a fraction late.
That was something.
"Better," Fukasaku muttered. "Again. Don't get proud of one step."
"I'm not proud. I'm busy."
On the rim, Yasuo sealed a puncture in a chunin's side. The wound was deep enough that air was trying to whistle through it. Green chakra packed the vessel, then the muscle, enough to keep the man from drowning in his own blood on the walk. Yasuo shoved him toward the green glow.
"Slug. Don't stop. If you pass out, fall toward the light."
The chunin nodded, pale, and went.
Tsunade's voice came over the seals again, stronger than it had been ten minutes ago. The fray was gone from the edges. The reset was in her throat.
"Inner lines hold. Do not chase. Medics, keep moving. If you can still form a wall, you form a wall. If you can't, you carry."
Yasuo heard it and kept working. The reset was working. For now.
Then a fourth signature slid into the open ground.
Different. Closer. Not the loud mechanical scream of Asura. Not the hungry stillness of Preta. Not the flat gravity of Deva. Human Path coming in from the smoke hands already lifting, Rinnegan fixed on a point that was not Naruto's chest.
Fukasaku's claws tightened on Naruto's shoulder hard enough to bite through cloth.
"Boy. Behind—"
Naruto turned a half-second late.
