Chapter 177 - Chapter 177: Sengoku's Distress

A nearby Prison Guard asked, "What should we do with this man? Where should we send him?"

Magellan glanced at Luffy, who was covered in toxins, and said, "Send him to Level 5. With this much poison in him, he won't live much longer."

Several other Prison Guards carried Luffy away and threw him into Level 5.

Buggy and Galdino were knocked down by Hannybal and tied up, their bodies covered in wounds.

Ivankov, who no longer had the Clone-Clone Fruit, lurked to the side, changed into a Prison Guard's uniform, and remained undetected for the time being.

A knock sounded on the door leading to Level Three behind Hannybal, and Hera's voice came from behind it: "Is anyone there? If not, I'm coming down."

Hannybal was instantly alerted that someone was descending to Level Four at this time. He aimed his weapon at the door and shouted, "Who is it?"

Hera opened the door, and saikū parried Hannybal's attack. "Don't worry, it's me, Hera. I sensed the disturbance here and came to provide some support."

Ivankov seized the moment while Hannybal was distracted, slowly moving near the tied-up Buggy and Galdino and taking them away.

Hera continued as if she hadn't seen anything, "How is it going now? I've already dealt with the rebellion on the first three levels."

Hannybal didn't notice either. "Warden Magellan has already gone to suppress the rebellion, and his accomplices have been caught." He then pointed to where the two had been tied.

Seeing that the spot where the two were tied was now empty, his eyes bulged in surprise. "What's going on? Where are the two prisoners who were here?"

Hera pointed in the direction where the three were escaping. "They're over there. Do you want me to help you?"

Magellan walked over and refused Hera's kindness. He had already heard about what Hera had done on the first three levels—not a single prisoner was left alive. Now, he just wanted to send this little ancestor away as quickly as possible.

"No need, thank you for your help, Miss Hera. We will handle the prison matters ourselves; we won't trouble you."

Hera said with a smile, "It's no trouble at all. It's just a small matter. I've long found these prisoners an eyesore. Why don't I take this opportunity to help you clear out the prisoners on Levels 4 and 5 as well?"

Magellan suddenly felt a headache coming on. The commotion caused by Luffy wasn't nearly as big as the one caused by this little ancestor. The first three levels were now as silent as a ghost town.

Only on Level 2 were there still sounds from the beasts Hera had spared. Level One and Level Three were left with nothing but Prison Guards.

At the thought of this, Magellan's resentment toward Luffy grew. He almost wished he could save Luffy just to ask him exactly how he had broken in.

Unaware that the culprit was standing right in front of him, Magellan felt a sharp pain in his stomach and rushed toward the toilet, not forgetting to instruct Hannybal:

"Escort Vice Admiral Hera out. Leave those few escapees to the Prison Guards."

Hearing the reports from the first three levels, Hannybal's scalp also felt numb. He still didn't want to believe that the criminals who had accumulated on the first three levels for so many years had all died at Hera's hands.

Hera patted Hannybal's shoulder. "Then let's go. Sigh, there aren't many warm-hearted good people like me these days. I offer to help, and they won't even let me."

Hannybal led Hera through the three levels of the prison. During the walk, the silence of Level Three and Level One even made him feel afraid. Looking at Hera, who always had a smile on her face beside him, he only felt a chill all over his body.

When the Prison Guards on the first three levels saw Hera returning, they all made way for her. Even the beasts on Level 2 didn't dare to breathe.

In the silence, Hera left the prison under Hannybal's escort.

Back on the argo, Hera sat in a lounge chair, took out a fishing rod, and began to fish.

Beside her, Garp's expression was grave. He had just received news that Red Hair Shanks, one of the Four Emperors, was heading toward Marineford, and Kaido had clashed with Jabba.

At Marineford, Sengoku looked even more distressed, his hair turning white. "Has Red Hair joined the battlefield too? This is going to be difficult to handle. Even Kaido and Jabba have shown up."

Just as Sengoku was worrying, a Marine ran over. "This is bad, Fleet Admiral! Blackbeard of the Shichibukai has disappeared. He seems to be heading toward Impel Down."

Hearing this news, Sengoku stood up in shock. "That bastard! What is he going there for?"

He then rubbed his furrowed brow and asked, "What about the Whitebeard Pirates? Do we know their movements?"

The Marine said, "We can't contact any of the warships responsible for monitoring the Whitebeard Pirates. We don't know their current location."

Sengoku sighed, the thought of retirement emerging once again. He couldn't help but think, "After this battle is over, I'll deal with Doflamingo and then retire peacefully."

After sighing, Sengoku sat down again. The current situation was still manageable. The Red Hair Pirates might not arrive in time, and Jabba and Kaido were locked in combat and couldn't make it for a while.

The Big Mom Pirates hadn't made a move. It was said that Big Mom had fallen into her hunger pangs again, so the Big Mom Pirates had no time to come. Now the only problem was Blackbeard.

As long as they could deal with the Whitebeard Pirates before the Red Hair Pirates arrived, there was still a chance of victory. Now, with Garp and Hera over by Blackbeard's side—given the argo's speed—they could reach Marineford in less than an hour.

Thinking of this, Sengoku's head began to ache again. Although the Marines' strength on paper was enough to deal with one Emperor's crew, that required the Three Admirals to go all out, and Garp and himself would also have to contribute.

Thinking of Kizaru and Aokiji, Sengoku's headache intensified. If those two were reliable, the Straw Hat crew would have been captured by the Marines long ago.

It would be lucky if Garp and Hera didn't cause trouble, and then there were the Shichibukai, all of whom were ambitious opportunists. If a real fight broke out, he would have to keep an eye on them.

The more Sengoku thought about it, the angrier he got, especially considering that Aokiji was Garp's disciple, Ace was adopted by Garp, Luffy was Garp's grandson, and even the Revolutionary Army leader, Dragon, was from Garp's family.

Calculating it this way, he felt that most of his troubles basically stemmed from Garp. Now even Hera had been corrupted by Garp. She was originally such a diligent Marine, but just because Garp adopted her, she had become involved in the Garp family's mess.

He now felt like calling Garp and venting his anger, and he stood up abruptly.

After his hand touched the transponder snail, he still didn't make the call. After standing up, his duty as Fleet Admiral made him start thinking again about how to break the current deadlock.

The Marines needed support. Sengoku swapped Garp's transponder snail for the World Government's. The Marines now needed more Pacifistas to come and provide support.
