A laugh bubbled up in her chest, then in her throat, and before she could hold it back she was already cackling with her mouth wide open.

The sound echoed off the bathroom walls while her eyes brimmed with a dangerous gleam.

Kuchisake-Onna caught her confidence and a soft smile peeked out from between her scars.
