Chapter 469 - Oh My God, in the End I Somehow Got Involved with Everyone from the Four Giant Conglomerates

Ryunosuke and Koenji arrived at the Principal's office, and then stepped inside together.

Koenji's father was crossing his legs, sitting on top of a luxurious chair. He had apparently been waiting there for quite a long time. While curling a thin smile, he didn't greet his son first at all, but instead immediately struck up a conversation with Ryunosuke.

"Yo, sweet boy, I have wanted to meet you for a very long time."

Ryunosuke stared at the man with a somewhat strange look, then shifted his gaze to stare at Koenji.

It had to be admitted that the two of them were truly father and son. Even their opening catchphrases were exactly identical.

Ryunosuke still replied to him politely. "Hello, Father Koenji. If I may know, what is your name?"

Koenji Genten burst into a loud laughter. "Just call me Genten, I don't mind."

Genten waved his hand, signaling that Ryunosuke could straight away call him by his given name. After all, right now there were two people named Koenji inside the room. If he only called the family name, they wouldn't know who was being called.

Genten himself indeed didn't mind if his given name was called directly by this child because the situation was indeed urgent. If another person dared to do such an audacious thing, they might have been finished off by him since the very beginning. However, for Ryunosuke, he was willing to grant that special privilege.

Koenji himself was briefly made a bit taken aback.

(Since when did this old geezer become so easy to talk to?)

Ryunosuke was also not hesitant and straight away called his given name. "Hello, Uncle Genten. My name is Akasaka Ryunosuke. If I may know, what business brings you to look for me?"

He bowed his body deeply, placing his position at an extremely low level.

In any case, the opposing party was the leader of the Koenji Conglomerate which occupied a rank in the top three within the Four Giant Conglomerates. Ryunosuke was not that stupid to trigger the discomfort of that person.

Genten was highly satisfied with the attitude displayed by Ryunosuke. He then straight away said very bluntly, "Become my man, Akasaka Ryunosuke. I will give you whatever it is that you want."

Ryunosuke was stunned upon hearing it. He suddenly snapped his head up with a face full of disbelief. "You came here to recruit me?"

Genten curled a thin smile, and then nodded in a very natural manner. "Is that not already obvious? If not for that, for what else would I come to this place? Is it merely to see my foolish son whose hobby is being lazy every day for the sake of waiting for the inheritance of my position?"

Ryunosuke straight away pointed toward Koenji who was beside him. "Ehhhhh! This possesses no relation to me! I am not the one who told your father to say such a cruel thing."

He hurried to clear himself from responsibility so that he wouldn't get caught up in the fallout as well.

Koenji spread both his hands, signaling that he didn't mind. His father's character had indeed been like that since a long time ago, so he was already highly accustomed to hearing sarcasms from his own father.

Genten genuinely indeed had no intention to chat with his son and only focused on Ryunosuke.

Ryunosuke rubbed the back of his head, and then very firmly rejected the offer to work under that man's wing.

In any case, his foreign debt had been paid off since a long time ago and he was not short of money. At this moment he had already lost the ambition to move forward, so there was absolutely no reason for him to join the Koenji Conglomerate.

Moreover, his female girlfriends each possessed a distinguished family background that was highly influential, or held the status of the sole single daughter of an extremely wealthy family. He didn't need to worry about matters of clothing and food at all, so for what did he have to make a hard effort to struggle?

Seeing the soft approach bearing no fruit, Genten intended to use a hard method. "You seem to have briefly used my Koenji Conglomerate identity in the outside world for the sake of protecting yourself, correct? You didn't think that all of that could be used completely for free, right?"

Ryunosuke's heart instantly beat fast. That matter was indeed something he had truly done.

Genten leaned his body backward, lying relaxedly on top of the chair while closing his eyes. "The power of my Koenji Conglomerate is not allowed to be used for free. You surely understand my meaning, right?"

Ryunosuke actually wanted to make an excuse that it was his private agreement with Koenji and possessed no relation to the Koenji Conglomerate. However, that kind of reason appeared excessively weak. He then thought of another way and straight away reminded him.

"I have already entered an engagement relationship with the niece of the Prime Minister of Japan, Kiryuuin Kijima. Right now it appears I cannot join the Koenji Conglomerate."

Genten raised his hand to cut off those words. "That matter does not clash at all. You join under my wing and you become the son-in-law of the Kiryuuin Family, those two things do not contradict each other whatsoever."

"Moreover, Kijima and I know each other well, as well as being business partners. I am sure he will not mind this matter."

Ryunosuke was instantly lost for words. He originally intended to use that reason to reject him.

Alright, now that reason also failed completely. He could only resignedly accept his fate. After all, if he didn't resign himself, what else could be done anyway?

He finally stepped out because his business was already finished. The rest was merely a family chat session between the Koenji father and son.

They threw sentences at each other, but basically there was no important matter discussed. Added with Koenji's character which was quite rebellious, he didn't really listen to his father's words.

This matter made Genten feel quite a headache.

"This time I have already looked for an excellent right-hand man for you. In this school, you must forge a good relationship with Ryunosuke. Even better if you guys can become close friends, do you hear me? You brat!"

Koenji very narcissistically used a small comb to tidy his sleek hair backward. He nodded half-heartedly as a sign of agreement, showing a highly unserious attitude.

Genten also knew that this wild child didn't take his words to heart, so he could only surrender to fate. In any case, the future path had already been paved by him for this child. If he still couldn't be relied upon, then he had also run out of ways.

Ryunosuke walked back to the classroom with a sluggish expression as if his soul had floated away, and then immediately occupied his seat.

He felt his life had already lost meaning. He only wanted to be lazy, why was there always someone forcing him to keep moving forward?

Ryunosuke extended his fingers to begin counting.

"In my hands right now there is the contact belonging to Shinomiya Kaguya, added further there is the contact belonging to Shijo Maki, and now I am even involved in a relationship with the Koenji Conglomerate. Oh my god, there is only one last single conglomerate left that is not yet involved, the rest have all connected with me."

Ryunosuke instantly slumped his head on top of the desk with a face full of weakness.

Three out of the Four Giant Conglomerates had now been involved in a relationship with him, he could feel that his life in the future would definitely be extremely busy.

Ryunosuke didn't realize at all that in reality he was already involved with all the existing conglomerates. Because Hiyori and Mahiru were instead the people from the fourth giant conglomerate. That meant, not a single one was missed, everyone had forged a relationship with him.

Even a figure like the Prime Minister of Japan did not escape from his reach.

This network of relations was genuinely no joke in how hard it was. It appeared that in the entire corners of Japan, there wouldn't be a single person who would dare to disturb his peace.

Moreover, there was still another future father-in-law who held control over the entire police force in Japan, who was currently on his way heading toward this school.
