Cherion was very selective about what he shared. Not everything in the novel needed to make the journey from his brain to Zarius's ears, especially since some of it had been written by an author who clearly believed subtlety was a personal attack.
The political mess, the endless schemes, shifting alliances, whatever else the author had thrown into the political blender could stay there.
Then they reached Yerel and Philia.
