Chapter 484 - Chapter 486 Talent Inclusion

"Right, where were we?…"

After witnessing Agent J's flustered departure, Agent O continued their previous conversation.

More than half an hour later, Mike, with a new identity, walked out of the conference room and found Agent J, who still looked indignant, in the lobby.

"Let's go for a drink," Mike proactively invited.

Because of his personality, Agent J didn't have many friends in the MIB, and Mike was one of them.

Another half an hour later, at a high-end bar on Fifth Avenue, Agent J, with several empty glasses in front of him, looked a bit disoriented.

"Don't, don't think that just because you buy me a drink, I'll forgive you for what you did to K…" Agent J mumbled with a thick tongue, not forgetting to down an entire glass of whiskey as he spoke.

It was like he was venting.

"Alright, that's enough for today." Mike took away the glass in front of Agent J. "Can you still walk? Do you need me to find someone to send you back?"

It was clear that Agent J wasn't targeting Mike earlier; he just felt a lack of belonging in the organization.

K's matter was like a fuse.

"Don't underestimate me, kid. I was the partner of the former 'Legend'…" After being numbed by alcohol, Agent J's emotions eased, and he seemed to have let go.

Men, there's nothing a good drink can't solve.

"I don't know if you've paid attention to Dr. Karen's research, but her research direction might be good news for you." Mike gave Agent J a small hint before they parted ways.

Dr. Karen was the Black female doctor who had previously helped Blade and later joined the MIB to work in the research department.

She had successfully researched a "perfect" antitoxin serum.

After resolving the Vampire virus in her body, Dr. Karen then combined the [Perfect Serum] and [Healing Ointment] and began her research on the [Anti-Aging Agent].

Compared to Dr. House's team's panacea, Dr. Dr. Karen's research project was clearly more reliable.

"Oh, tell me about it?" Agent J became interested.

Dr. Karen was just average in Mike's eyes, but to MIB, Dr. Karen was definitely a great beauty.

Agent J had also paid attention to her before.

"Dr. Karen is researching an [Anti-Aging Agent] that can allow people to live healthily to their ideal lifespan limit. It's roughly between 120 and 140 years old…" Mike didn't keep him in suspense and directly stated the answer.

This news was definitely good news for K, who loved his work at the MIB. Now that he was retired in his sixties, if he could use the [Anti-Aging Agent], he could conservatively estimate working for the organization for another sixty years.

For him personally, this was simply gospel.

Similarly, if this hypothesis held true, the problem of Agent J, the "troublemaker," not having a partner could also be smoothly resolved.

"Anti-Aging Agent? I'm going to find Dr. Karen right now!" Agent J quickly realized the agent's use and immediately became full of vigor, his drunkenness dissipating somewhat.

"Don't rush, Dr. Karen has just started researching that agent, and it won't yield results so quickly." Mike reminded him again.

"No, I must go back and see!" Even if the Anti-Aging Agent hadn't been successfully researched yet, for Agent J, it was still a pleasant surprise.

He couldn't hold back now; he wanted to confirm it in person.

Without waiting for Mike to say more, the already "sober" Agent J hailed a taxi and rushed to the MIB Headquarters.

On the other side, after bidding farewell to Agent J, Mike drove to the Wall Street Building.

As his strength had significantly improved, he now wanted to see what other secrets Old Alexander had.

"What a rare guest, welcome to my humble abode," Alexander, who had found his eldest son, looked even better than last time.

The old man expressed a strong welcome to Mike's arrival: "Would you like a cigar, just shipped back from Brazil?"

It was clear that having resolved half of his worries, he had begun to learn how to enjoy life.

"Thank you, and give me a glass of red wine," Mike looked at Alexander several times, then sat opposite him with a meaningful expression.

Alexander, who cut the cigar and poured the red wine like a subordinate, inexplicably felt that Mike's visit this time was "ill-intentioned" and asked somewhat guiltily, "Is there something you want to discuss this time?"

"There is indeed something. I want to know more about supernatural matters." Mike smiled and stated his purpose.

However, in Alexander's eyes, this smile made him feel even more uneasy.

"This…" Alexander, who had no more information to offer, stammered, "Didn't we agree before? You help me find my son, and I give you information. There's no news from William yet…"

Strictly speaking, Alexander did rely on the information about the California Devil to get Mike to help him find his eldest son.

As for his second son, he couldn't provide more useful supernatural information, so he could only choose to prevaricate Mike for now.

"Honestly, I don't have any more major news about the supernatural, do I?" Mike, who had mind-reading abilities and could already read Alexander's thoughts, was in no mood to play guessing games with this old man.

"How is that possible!" Alexander, whose thoughts were exposed, was startled, but still pretended to be calm and said, "As far as I know, there are still supernatural events in Texas, and Satan might be behind them."

However, Alexander, whose inner thoughts were seen through, probably didn't realize that he had already offered the information about Texas as a bargaining chip to Mike once before.

"I already know about the Ghost Rider in Texas. Do you have any other news?" Mike, sitting calmly, continued to ask with a smile.

"This doesn't meet the terms of the deal. Unless you help me find my second son, I can't tell you more." With no other option, Alexander could only choose to bluster again.

"Do you think that's fair?" Mike questioned, "One piece of information for one of your sons, don't you think this situation is too 'friendly' to you?"

As Alexander hesitated, Mike continued, "Let me tell you, I now have a cooperative relationship with the angels, and with their help, finding the First Werewolf won't be difficult…"

"So, what else are you willing to pay to find your second son?"

"Don't try to fool me with outdated news about Vampires and Werewolves!"

Mike, with his mind-reading ability activated, directly blocked Alexander's next move.

Then he calmly held his red wine, watching the old man opposite him with interest.

And it must be said, mind-reading is indeed very useful in negotiations.

On Alexander's side, after his expression changed several times, he finally resigned himself, "What do you want?"

Facts prove that how could someone who has lived for thousands of years not understand how to assess the situation.

However, even so, Alexander's willingness to bow his head was enough to show his love for his children.

"I want Alexander Corporation and you to work for me." Mike finally showed his fangs.

Ever since he understood Alexander's thoughts and knew that the other party no longer had any useful supernatural information, Mike planned to take over Alexander Corporation.

After all, finding someone also comes at a cost, not to mention that Alexander valued family so much.

And King Investment Group, which was expanding into multiple fields, indeed needed Alexander, this "talent."

To say the least, having lived for thousands of years, he would have some insights into how to develop a group and manage subordinates.

"Okay, Alexander Corporation and I can both be at your service. But we need to set a deadline…" Alexander said after thinking, "Half a year. In half a year, you help me find William, or find information about William. Otherwise, I'd rather go out on my own."

For an old father who missed his son, he could give up everything, but half a year was his bottom line.

"No problem," Mike confidently agreed to the other party's request.

Just as he said before, with the help of the angel forces, it wouldn't be difficult to find someone within half a year.

Now the most crucial thing was to first acquire Alexander, this talent, and his vast business empire, to help King Investment Group get through the initial expansion period.
