"Okay, anyway, you have almost done it, and the news has been announced, so you don't have to worry about it anymore."
Seeing this, Eris felt a little pity, not seeing enough of Noa's embarrassment.
But considering that Noa would become more and more proficient in dealing with it in the future, and it was unlikely that he would continue to be caught off guard like this again, she happily agreed to let him go.
"That'll do."
Noa nodded, took another sandwich, and continued eating. After swallowing a few bites, he suddenly asked curiously:
"By the way, where is the goddess from before? Is she going back now?"
The question was partly genuine curiosity, and partly an attempt to justify his presence here. After all, his original excuse for coming was to assist in sending the goddess back to heaven as soon as possible. Now that things had progressed this far, it only made sense to follow up on the matter.
Eris replied calmly, "She has returned to heaven. Although she didn't react immediately, once the news spread, she eventually learned about it and went back."
Noa nodded when he heard this and did not ask further. The matter was essentially resolved, and there was no need to dwell on it.
After taking a short rest and finishing what he was eating, he prepared to leave.
The objective had been achieved, and he was not planning to stay in the world of Konosuba any longer. Compared to other places he had been, this world lacked notable excitement. It wasn't particularly entertaining, and in terms of overall experience, it even felt less engaging than Great Tree Village.
Seeing that Noa was about to leave, Eris quickly spoke up. "Wait, you should leave your contact information. Otherwise, you just show up so suddenly every time and do things like this to me. It's quite troublesome, you know."
"Contact information…?"
Noa paused slightly at the request.
That put him in a bit of a difficult position.
He did not have a conventional communication method like people in this world. Even within the Great Tree Village, long-distance communication across worlds was not something handled casually. It required specific arrangements—either sending personnel physically to deliver messages or relying on written correspondence.
The most common method was sending someone directly, but that meant consuming manpower. Over time, maintaining repeated communication in that way would reduce available labor resources, which was inefficient.
Another option was one-way messaging, where information could only be sent outward from the Great Tree Village but not reliably received back. That system was useful in limited cases but not suitable for continuous interaction between worlds.
There was also the method of using gate-authorized individuals to travel back and forth to deliver messages directly. However, this depended heavily on whether the person had the authority to pass through the gates and return freely.
In this situation, the options narrowed quickly.
For Konosuba World specifically, the latter approach was not feasible. One of the key individuals had already been integrated into the system, meaning they could not simply be reassigned as a courier between worlds. That eliminated the simplest workaround.
Which left only the more resource-consuming method.
Noa considered this briefly, weighing efficiency against practicality. In the end, there was no perfect solution—only the least inconvenient one.
So, if communication was truly necessary, they would have to rely on the method involving personnel transport and message delivery. It wasn't ideal, but it was workable under current conditions.
