Chapter 522 - Unexpected Collision 2

So he made a decisive decision and chose to follow his heart.

Sato Kazuma's unscrupulous behavior made Eris stunned.

"Get up, it didn't really hit me after all."

Noa was not in a daze, and generously expressed his forgiveness to Kazuma Sato.

His tone was calm and casual, as if the earlier incident had been nothing more than a minor misunderstanding. From his perspective, there was no real damage done, and continuing to dwell on it would only waste time. He also understood from Kazuma's earlier shouting that the true instigator was Aqua, while Kazuma himself was more of an unfortunate bystander dragged into the situation. In the end, he had simply been caught in the aftermath of someone else's incompetence.

He glanced briefly at Aqua, who was still standing nearby with an innocent expression, as if completely unaware of the chaos she had caused.

So Aqua, the original culprit?

Who would compete with a sick staff ?

There was no need to escalate matters over something so absurd. Noa had seen enough strange situations in his travels to know when it was pointless to argue further.

"Really? Thank you for your great support!"

When Sato Kazuma heard that Noa didn't care, he immediately breathed a sigh of relief and quickly expressed his gratitude. His shoulders visibly relaxed, as though a heavy burden had been lifted. For someone like him, who constantly seemed to attract trouble, being forgiven so easily felt almost unreal.

Fortunately, he didn't cause any big trouble ....

Just when Sato Kazuma was secretly rejoicing, he heard Noa suddenly say:

"It doesn't matter to me, but some people seem to think it does."

"ah?"

Sato Kazuma was stunned when he heard this, and saw Noa pointing to the construction site behind him.

"Here comes your real trouble."

A faint, almost sympathetic tone accompanied those words. Noa's gaze shifted past Kazuma and toward the direction behind Aqua, where the atmosphere had subtly changed.

Sato Kazuma suddenly thought of something, his face changed, and he quickly turned around.

Sure enough, he saw the contractor with a gloomy face who had been standing behind Aqua at some point and was looking towards him.

The man was clearly the site supervisor or boss of the construction project. His arms were crossed tightly, veins slightly visible on his forehead, and his expression carried the unmistakable pressure of someone who had just witnessed damage to property under his supervision. The broken materials near the impact site only made things worse.

"Don't you want to do it? Um?!"

His voice was low and heavy, filled with restrained anger.

"No! no! Boss, please listen to my quibbles. Bah, this is an explanation. Please listen to my explanation!"

Sato Kazuma panicked instantly. His earlier relief vanished in an instant, replaced by pure survival instinct. He quickly waved his hands, his speech becoming increasingly chaotic as he tried to salvage the situation. Without even thinking, he performed a desperate, almost comedic sliding movement toward the construction site, as if trying to physically distance himself from responsibility.

"Gee, what a miserable time traveler."

Looking at Kazuma Sato's humble appearance, Noa couldn't help but feel a bit amused. Despite everything, there was something almost impressive about how consistently unlucky the man was. Every step forward in life seemed to come with three steps backward.

Kazuma's existence felt like a long string of misfortune tied together—starting from his strange circumstances in his previous world, his awkward death, and then his inexplicable reincarnation into this chaotic world. And now, even a simple incident involving a flying brick had spiraled into a workplace dispute.

He couldn't help but think about how Kazuma had ended up in such a situation: constantly surrounded by troublesome companions, especially Aqua, who seemed to embody chaos itself. Despite being a goddess, she was more of a walking disaster than a blessing.

In contrast, Kazuma himself was just an ordinary person trying to survive, only to be dragged into increasingly absurd events. Even compared to other unfortunate individuals Noa had encountered, Kazuma's situation stood out as uniquely pitiful in its consistency.

But there is nothing you can do about Sato Kazuma being like this now.
