Chapter 24 - Argument With The Bigshots

(Damien's POV)

"Now that we're done here." Emma said as she was buttoning up her shirt, "We can finally go on about our business."

Susan was slowly standing up from the bed, "I uhm...." She said, wobbling slightly, "I think I am late for my meeting."

I was lying down on the bed, my arms behind my head, "Is that so?" I said, "Forget that, stay in with us. We can go a few more rounds."

She looked at me while blushing slightly, "Well..." She said, "I don't want to intrude, you know."

"Nonsense." Emma said as she walked up to her, holding her by the waist, "I've always liked you, Susan. I am willing to share my husband with you far more times than you can comprehend. And he likes you a lot too, so this benefits all of us."

"Well..." Susan blushed even more, "I mean....."

Emma placed her finger below her chin, "A perfect woman like you to be wasted would be a shame." She said, "If you wish to relieve your urges, just give me a call."

"Oh, Emma." Susan said as she looked to the side, "I don't know, that was all just a whim and-"

Emma kissed her lips briefly, catching her off guard. The mere sight of that was a bit arousing, but not too surprising. Emma has a thing for Susan, just like I do. But we do our best in restraining ourselves.

Susan's face was bright red as Emma smirked slightly at her, "E-Emma..." She said, "That was...."

Emma squeezed Susan's ass, "I told you, I like you." She said with a chuckle, "This body is that of a goddess, I wouldn't want it to go to waste."

"M-My body is not like yours." Susan said, completely flustered, "But...."

"Shhh..." Emma kissed her cheek, "I like it."

"Thanks." Susan said

"Now." Emma slapped her ass, "Damien and I have to go and speak with your friends."

"Oh, right!" Susan said as she ran to the cupboard, grabbing her phone, "There was a meeting with Tony and the others! They might want to speak to you, Damien."

I rolled my eyes, "The fuck do they want?"

"The usual things, maybe." Emma said with a sigh, "Complaining about your world-ending powers and pitch how you should be their personal weapon."

"I have never agreed with what they said, Damien." Susan said, checking her phone, "It gets ridiculous at times."

I groaned, "I just want to go home." I said, "The X-Men have become a pain as well. Do I want the Avengers on my ass as well?"

"Whatever the case, we ought to go and listen." Emma said, "Some important topics might come up, topics worth your attention."

"Like what?" I asked

"I'm not sure." Emma said, "But don't be a grouch and let's go. We'll go and have some fun with Anna Marie later, I can give her a call. I know how much you liked her."

"Y-You're going to have sex with someone else afterwards?" Susan asked, blushing deeply

"Oh?" Emma smiled, "You want to join too? You're more than welcome."

"Oh...." Susan said, "Thanks."

"Alright." I said, getting up, "Let's go and see what these assholes want."

*******************

"Over the past few months, the crime rate hasn't gone down by the margins we were expecting." Tony Stark said, "Villains have still gone about their own schemes and attacks on cities have remained a constant."

"Not only that, there was no improvement in natural disaster relief." Reed Richards said, "If you have put in your help, maybe that would have changed."

We were in Stark Tower, in a meeting room with Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and some of the X-Men. Their friends in politics have already left, just missing me.

"For fuck's sake." I said, leaning back on the chair, "Is this what you called me for? To bitch and moan about me not making an effort in Hero duties?"

"Damien has no obligation to do your job, Tony." Emma said, crossing her arms, "Or yours, Reed. The two of you made your decision to become Heroes and make a difference, not him."

Tony rubbed his neck, "Well, don't get me wrong, Emma." He said, "Up until recently, we just thought your husband was a freeloader who married a wealthy mutant."

"What was that?" Emma scowled, "Mind your tongue, Stark."

"That was until he made it clear he had reality-altering powers." Reed continued, "You can understand that it made us weary."

"He did made it clear that he was not a threat." Jean Grey said, giving me a side-eye, "But that said, he does nothing else."

I shrugged, "You want me to do something?" I asked, "Like what?"

"To put it bluntly." Scott said, "We don't trust you. You have unpredictable motives and powers that can destroy this world at a whim."

"But I haven't done anything of the sort." I said, "What's your fucking point?"

"Our point is that as long as you sit on that fence of yours." Tony started, "There would always be unease. So you have to make a choice and become a member of any group that focuses on Hero-related duties."

"You don't get to decide any of that." Emma scoffed, "Who the hell do you think you are? All of you?"

"Emma, we don't mean to offend you." Jean said, "But Damien is too unpredictable. He is a walking god who needs to be monitored."

"I'm monitoring him!" Emma stood up, an angry look on her face, "He's my husband, I married him. I know him better than any of you! He doesn't even need to be monitored! He poses no threat to anyone here unless you piss him off and make the first move."

"It doesn't change the fact that his powers are dangerous." Scott said, "What if he loses control and causes apocalyptic events?"

"Fuck you." I said with a scowl

"You need to control your emotions," Scott said, looking at me with those dumb sunglasses

"My emotions are controlled, prick." I said, "I don't need to listen to any of you. I have done more for this universe than you can comprehend."

"Like what?" Reed asked

"Have you wondered why there have not been any interdimensional threats since you buffoons discovered me?" I asked, "Or why has the Earth been stabilized more than in the past decade or so? Because of me, you ungrateful idiots."

"Two actions do not ease our concerns," Tony spoke up

"Oh, to hell with your concerns." Emma reached for my arm, "Let's go Damien, we're leaving. This is ridiculous."

She pulled me up, and I simply looked at Tony, "If you excuse us." I said,

"We're going home, where we'll do nothing about anything."
