"Elise, you came at the perfect time."
Soren suddenly smiled and pulled her directly into his arms, her soft body leaning against his chest.
"Soren?"
"Shh… we are outside, aren't we? Let's talk inside my tent."
He did not let her respond. His gaze swept the surroundings once, confirming they were alone, before taking her quickly inside his tent.
Only then did he look at Elise,
"So? What do you want to talk about? Is it about what happened in the dungeon?"
Soren directly asked, to which Elise quickly lowered her head, her cheeks getting red in shame.
For a moment, words stuck in her throat as all the things she planned to tell him disappeared in a poof.
All because she realized that she was alone with Soren in his small tent.
"I-I...S-Soren...about that time, d-do you..."
The more she tried to speak, the more she stuttered as her breathing began to quicken, her heartbeat growing louder and louder.
