Marcus had barely finished recording the Royal Alpha's previous instructions when one of the Nightfall elders exchanged a hesitant glance with Alpha Kael. After a brief moment of deliberation, the elderly man slowly rose from his seat, the movement alone enough to draw everyone's attention.
"There is another matter we must report, Royal Alpha."
Kade lifted his eyes from the financial reports spread neatly across the table and regarded him calmly.
"Speak."
The elder inclined his head respectfully before continuing.
"It concerns Blackwood Village."
