"..." Illustrious didn't find the joke funny at all; instead, her skin crawled.
"Alright! Illustrious! Let's hurry up! Otherwise, an hour will pass very quickly," Taihou urged.
"Yeah! True! Better finish watching and get back early," Illustrious nodded.
The two continued toward the cliff. After walking some distance, Taihou got excited. Ahead was her first trap.
This first trap was a strong sulfuric acid pit. Once Illustrious fell in, she would surely be left without a whole corpse.
In Taihou's mind, a little theater of Illustrious's tragic death had already appeared.
First, Illustrious would step into the pit, then her whole body would be covered in sulfuric acid, she would scream continuously, and finally, she would turn completely to ash.
The little theater in her mind ended. Taihou watched with a wicked smile as Illustrious was only one step away from stepping into the pit, shouting in her heart, "Step on it! Step on it! Hurry up and step on it! Once you do, you can go to hell! Hee hee hee..."
However, something happened in the middle that surprised Taihou. When Illustrious stepped into the trap, she actually didn't fall into the strong sulfuric acid pit.

Worried about Taihou's safety, Illustrious immediately grabbed Taihou's hand and pulled her up. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine! Thank you for saving me." Although she didn't want to admit it, Taihou knew that without Illustrious's help, she wouldn't have left the strong sulfuric acid pit so quickly.
"Sizzle..." The corrosiveness of the strong sulfuric acid continued to act on Taihou's body. Although her body was strong, her clothes weren't as resilient. In no time at all, her clothes were completely gone.
"Nice body. Can I push you down now?" Illustrious said with a wicked smile upon seeing Taihou naked.
"Push down your head! Hurry up and close your eyes! If you keep looking, I'll gouge them out!" Covering her private parts with her hands, Taihou said in ashamed anger.
"Fine! I won't look. Why so fierce? It's not like I haven't seen it before," Illustrious muttered softly, then slowly closed her eyes.
Seeing Illustrious close her eyes, Taihou quickly used her Aura to clear the strong sulfuric acid from her body.
After clearing it, Taihou took a red evening dress out of her rigging space and put it on.
A moment later, after putting on the last piece—black lace garter stockings—Taihou said loudly, "Alright! You can open your eyes now."
Illustrious immediately opened her eyes and saw Taihou wearing a red evening dress. "All dressed! But speaking of which, why is there a pit here?"
Taihou was startled and panicked for a moment, but then she immediately steadied herself and said, "I don't know! For the record, this has nothing to do with me. Don't you dare blame it on me!"
Walking to the edge of the pit, Illustrious said softly, "I know it wasn't you. After all, no idiot in the world would fall into a pit they dug themselves."
As if a label arrow with the word 'idiot' written on it had been stabbed into her, Taihou's expression became dejected. She thought to herself, "Sorry! I'm an idiot, so sorry."
Illustrious picked a blade of grass and threw it into the water pit. She then saw the blade of grass instantly turn to ash.
Seeing that the water pit was so corrosive, Illustrious was startled. "My goodness, this is too terrifying! Luckily I didn't fall in, or I'd end up just like that blade of grass!"
Seeing Illustrious standing by the strong sulfuric acid pit, Taihou was delighted. "Wonderful! As long as I push Illustrious down, she will certainly be dead without a whole corpse!"
Having figured it out, Taihou acted immediately; she rushed toward Illustrious.
In the final stretch, Taihou leaped, intending to give Illustrious a heavy shove.
"Taihou! Look, there's actually an ant nest here!" Just as Taihou was about to push her into the pit, Illustrious suddenly crouched down.
"Ah! No!" Taihou screamed, then fell into the strong sulfuric acid pit once again.
Illustrious, who had been watching a group of ants carrying things on the ground, heard the sound of a heavy object falling into the pit and immediately realized that Taihou had fallen into the pit again.
Illustrious was speechless. What on earth was this person doing?
"Pfft! Help, help me, Illustrious." In the strong sulfuric acid pit, Taihou called for help.
"Wait a moment, I'll save you right away." Illustrious sighed and reached out to pull Taihou up.
"Thank you! You've saved my life again." Taihou said gratefully.
"It's fine! Besides, being able to appreciate such wonderful scenery, I'm not losing out at all!"
"Ah! Pervert! Turn around and don't look!"
After taking one more look at Taihou, Illustrious turned around and said, "Fine, fine! I won't look. I have the same things you have; what's the big deal?"
Standing on solid ground, feeling steady again, Taihou saw that her clothes had been corroded by the sulfuric acid once more. She felt like crying but had no tears, and glared fiercely at Illustrious, thinking to herself, "Damn it! Illustrious, just you wait. Although you dodged this one, the next trap will definitely leave you with no corpse."
With lightning speed, Taihou instantly changed into a new red evening dress. "Alright! Let's go quickly! This place is too wicked."
Taihou believed this must be a place of bad luck for her; otherwise, she wouldn't have failed time and time again.
"Don't walk so fast, wait for me." Seeing Taihou leave her behind and walk ahead alone, Illustrious immediately chased after her.
"Hurry up! Otherwise, I'll really leave you behind." She couldn't fall out with Illustrious yet, so Taihou could only continue to play the part of a well-behaved girl.
After catching up with Taihou, Illustrious walked side-by-side with her.
While walking, Illustrious was thoroughly puzzled. "Taihou! Why did you jump into that dangerous strong sulfuric acid pit just now?"
Taihou replied casually, "My ring fell into the pit just now, so I jumped in to look for it."
"So that's how it is." Illustrious suddenly understood. It seemed that ring must have been given to Taihou by her Admiral; no wonder she cherished it so much.
