"You're going to the Sunny World?"
"Aren't you going to wait for Harald here?"
Ida's ears perked up as she heard the pirates' discussion, and she spoke up anxiously.
She had hoped that Harald would drive these detestable pirates out of Elbaf while they were still here in the Underworld.
She didn't want to see these pirates disturb the peace of the Sunny World.
She thought these greedy pirates would continue collecting the branches of the tree of war, which were worth a fortune in the outside world, until Harald returned.
Having come from the outside world, Ida knew just how valuable these branches of the tree of war—known as adam wood in the outside world—really were.
Even Harald would occasionally take some branches of the tree of war out to sell or exchange for supplies from the outside world.
This was one of the few treasures in Elbaf that held immense value for humans from the outside world.
"It's a rare chance to visit Elbaf; of course we have to see this Kingdom of Giants for ourselves!"
"We can't just collect wood every single day."
Fang Huo spoke indifferently. Aside from his interest in Elbaf's inherited Devil Fruit...
...he was also very interested in the murals of the hale divine codex and that ancient robot with a history of over 3,000 years.
That's right. Aside from the thousand-year-old ancient robot, emitt, on Egghead Island...
...Elbaf possessed an even more ancient robot.
It was likely a high-tech product of the Giant Kingdom as well.
Perhaps Elbaf was once a part of the Giant Kingdom, or at least a staunch ally!
Fang Huo wanted to see if Elbaf had any other books regarding the Giant Kingdom.
History books in the outside world had been nearly wiped out by the World Government; only the poneglyphs were indestructible.
But Elbaf, like Wano Country, had severed ties with the World Government eight hundred years ago.
Wano's Kozuki Family still preserved the knowledge of the ancient script and the technique for carving poneglyphs, passing down the secret of pluton through generations.
There was no reason why Elbaf, with its even deeper heritage, wouldn't have preserved more books and traditions.
Of course, that mural of the hale divine codex already contained a lot of useful information.
The forces of Imu and the Twenty Kings on one side, and the various racial forces of the sun god nika on the other... However, for giant brutes who didn't like reading, looking at murals was fine, but if you asked them to read books and study history, those books were probably tossed who-knows-where.
Or perhaps they were used as kindling and burned as firewood.
---"How about you wait for Harald to return before touring the Sunny World?"
Ida was truly afraid these pirates would cause trouble in the Sunny World, so she suggested again with a stiff expression.
"There's one way to tour when he's here, and another when he's not. If you want to blame someone, blame him for being so slow to return."
Rocks grinned. If the Executives hadn't been so busy scavenging adam wood for money, he would have gone up to the real Elbaf a day or two ago.
This place the giants called the Underworld was indeed a cold wasteland with no fun to be had.
"I'll take you on a tour of Elbaf!"
Loki re-covered his demonic vertical pupils with bandages and spoke coldly to Rocks, Fang Huo, and the others.
He had a feeling that these pirates wouldn't destroy Elbaf.
Even if these humans wanted to steal some high-quality wood from the tree of war, it probably wouldn't be as serious as him releasing wild beasts to destroy villages.
"I'm going to keep an eye on you for my father!"
Even though Hajrudin was a bit scared deep down, he still stepped forward like a man.
"Sigh! I'll close the tavern for a bit and go with you!"
Ida pondered for a moment. For her man's kingdom, she had to keep a close eye on these detestable pirates to prevent them from causing chaos in Elbaf.
"Aren't you afraid the other giants will think you're colluding with us?"
"You know, not to mention Loki, the Cursed Prince, even you and your son aren't welcome in Elbaf."
Fang Huo raised an eyebrow as he looked at the two nervous giants.
The Elbaf they cared about wouldn't trust them.
Otherwise, Ida wouldn't have been driven to the Underworld by the giant higher-ups to open a tavern, and she would never have been barred from living in Orsto Castle.
Queen Estrilda's kin and the noble elders utterly loathed Ida, a mixed-blood female giant from the outside world.
Even Hajrudin, who hadn't inherited the bloodline of the Ancient Giants, was looked down upon by the giant leadership.
So later, even when Loki took the blame for patricide and stealing the inherited Devil Fruit and was locked away in the Underworld...
...the high-ranking members of the Giant Race never considered making Hajrudin, the mixed-blood prince, the heir to Elbaf.
"Forget it. I'll give you another tragic prophecy for free!"
"Ida will eventually be poisoned to death by the kin of Loki's mother."
"Loki, in the future, you will accept Ida as your mother and eventually destroy your birth mother's hometown, Sake Village, to avenge her."
Fang Huo felt that spoiling Harald's future wasn't enough to shock these guys, so he casually dropped another bombshell.
"What?!!"
Hajrudin cried out in terror. His mother was going to be poisoned?
"..."
Loki heard that he would accept Ida in the future and even destroy his biological mother's hometown and kin to avenge her.
This made him a bit skeptical.
Would he really become that kind of person in the future?
"I'm going to be poisoned?"
"But hearing that Loki accepts me... why am I a little happy?"
Ida was stunned at first, but she soon broke into a happy smile, as if she had automatically filtered out the bad news and only kept the good.
"But so that Hajrudin and Loki don't lose a mother's love, I'll have to check my food carefully from now on. I absolutely cannot let those bad people take me down."
Ida smiled cheerfully and gently patted Hajrudin's hand.
She wanted to comfort Loki as well, but seeing his "stay away" demeanor, she didn't dare make any other intimate gestures.
---"Gehahaha!! Listening to Fang Huo's prophecies, I'm starting to feel like this family's story is getting more and more exciting!"
"Brat Loki, not only will you kill your father, but you'll also kill your mother's kin, and even your foster mother will be poisoned. You're so damn pitiful!"
That low-EQ bastard, Golden Lion Shiki, actually started mocking Loki at a time like this.
Loki gripped his long hammer tightly, wishing he could crush this flying, blonde human with a single blow.
"You lot really don't know what's good for you. The Vice-Captain provided you with so much future intel for free; shouldn't you be grateful?"
"You know, when the first mate prophesied about those two famous swords for Shiki, he charged a hefty price."
"I'm talking to you, brat Loki! You won't even call the first mate 'Godfather'!"
Babel grumbled irritably as he looked at the three giants with their varying expressions.
Babel, a catfish Fishman nearly ten meters tall, was several sizes larger than Ida, and his aura wasn't at all inferior to Loki's.
If they really fought, the current Babel was eighty to ninety percent sure he could defeat the brat Loki.
Talent is one thing, but a genius who hasn't grown up is still just a dog on the side of the road.
The cruel elimination of geniuses before their time is not uncommon on these seas!
