Gu Sha Ju grinned.
His body transformed into a large shark, opening its maw to devour the titan.
Qin Kon Jian clenched his fist and threw an uppercut at the shark.
But just as he did, the shark's body rapidly shrank.
Turning into a human once more.
And so, the attack thoroughly missed, the swing he made left his body rather exposed.
Gu Sha Ju opened his mouth; an intense wave was released from his mouth alongside an endless number of piranhas.
Those piranhas reached his limbs and began to bite their way through his flesh.
Qin Kon Jian clenched his muscles slightly, and a soft celeste aura surged.
But before he could complete the Killer Move.
Gu Sha Ju's body morphed again.
Once more, he took the shape of a shark and struck viciously at his left side using its dorsal fin as a sharp blade.
Cutting through the layer of flesh on his shoulder, before rapidly retreating.
As it flew.
Its body was covered in a blue aura that resembled water.
Qin Kon Jian raised his arm towards him.
And an invisible force took shape, pulling him towards Qin Kon Jian.
And with the other arm, he swung right at its maw.
But just like before, Gu Sha Ju's body rapidly shrank, that plus the usage of the watery aura, enabled him to divert the strike.
Or so he thought.
Qin Kon Jian let out a long breath reinforced with several thousand mortal Gu and huffed with full strength.
And as a result, Gu Sha Ju's body was sent crashing towards the solid ground.
He coughed blood as his body bounced like a tennis ball, and Qin Kon Jian merely chuckled.
"That trick of yours of de-transforming may be useful, but. It also leaves you far too exposed!" An invisible force once more appeared, pulling him towards Qin Kon Jian.
As the man raised his fist to crush him into meat paste.
Gu Sha Ju frowned.
Without any other choice, he transformed into a shark once more.
His whole body was finally hit in the face by the titan, his body coughing up blood.
And his body ascending towards the white skies.
But.
Just as this happened, an invisible force pulled him again.
Qin Kon Jian threw another hit and another and another.
Ruthlessly, he punched and used gravity to increase the force of his momentum, and also to prevent him from fleeing.
But in one of the many attacks.
Gu Sha Ju had enough.
A Killer Move he had prepared while silently enduring had finally taken shape.
His white shark shape rapidly changed and contorted.
His body grew taller, yet slimmer, having a triangular shape, plus it also had a horn at the centre of its head.
As if it were a rhino.
Several Immortal Gu's aura shone together.
And suddenly Gu Sha Ju flickered!
Charging towards him at a thunderous speed.
Qin Kon Jian's eyes widened.
He had no time to avoid, and so, without any other option, he raised his two arms and braced his feet.
Several defensive Gu Worms surged as he desperately grasped the horn with his two arms, and his feet rapidly slid through the arena.
Debris and sandstorms spread across the zone, whilst the earth itself was also dug out by the immense force of his opponent.
But that was exactly what he wanted.
Using that friction, he was barely able to endure and hold on.
But.
Gu Sha Ju had no intention of giving up.
His body kept surging like a torpedo moving at an incredibly rapid speed.
The surrounding Immortals and mortals rapidly retreated.
At the same time.
Gu Sha Ju, despite charging towards him, had no intention of fighting fairly. He opened his mouth, and from which several piranhas were shot.
Those piranhas were not even intent on biting through his flesh, but instead acted like bullets.
Their bodies crashed towards Qin Kon Jian, exploding into countless bits, yet their spiky bodies managed to produce several wounds across his body.
Qin Kon Jian screamed in a mix of pain and rage; veins appeared in his forehead.
"You want to play like that, huh?"
Whilst his arms were unable to move as he was using them to hold onto the horn, knowing well that letting go would only lead to being punctured in the chest.
He still had his means.
He opened his mouth.
[Compressed air!]
An incredibly sharp air was shot, aimed at the face of the creature.
Rapidly scratching its face and slowly making its way through its muscles and bones.
Of course, Gu Sha Ju would not allow this; several Gu were employed and his wounds rapidly healed.
And he pressed even harder, countless of piranhas were shot one after the other.
By this point, there were several heavy cuts in the flesh of Qin Kon Jian that were slowly getting bigger and bigger.
All the immortals observed this with wide open eyes; even Uru Tan He's expression gleamed with excitement.
What a brutal fight.
Yet.
All of them understood that it would likely be finished soon.
All of nowhere.
Gu Sha Ju turned its body, moving towards the left.
Qin Kon Jian's expression changed; he gritted his teeth.
"Heh. Was that an attempt of trying to make my grip fail?" He laughed, even though his hands were both bleeding.
After all, changing his course would also reduce the momentum and speed.
It was basic logic.
The fact that he was resorting to this meant that he was truly running out of steam.
Once more, the surrounding immortals nearby scattered.
Nobody wanted to be in the middle of this mess.
All except for one.
Hui Gui Yu, who seemed frozen in shock.
"What are you doing? Move!" Le Tu, who was nearby, shouted.
Ignoring the risks, he was about to approach.
But his pupils rapidly shrank as he noticed.
There was a tiny smile on her face.
Moreover.
Her fingers were extended and stretched widely in an unnatural manner; her hands were almost as large as her forearms.
Whilst also being thin and pale white, almost revealing the bone.
Uru Tan He, who was already staring intently at her, had his expression changed.
"As expected, that last time too. It was not an accident. She came here to mess everything up!" Realising this, he held no reservations.
His Killing Intent reached its peak.
He stretched his hand.
A celeste light surged.
Almost reaching towards her.
Yet.
His eyes suddenly widened.
A bloodstream was suddenly shot.
Not towards him, but.
His gaze darted towards Uru Hong Jing, who seemed unaware of what was happening and whose gaze still seemed fixated on the climax of the duel.
[You are blue] Uru Hong Jing's body turned blue, and his body was pulled towards him.
"Ancestor?" Uru Hong Jing muttered in utter shock.
Why had he suddenly been moved?
Suddenly, his gaze darted towards wherever Uru Tan He was looking.
From the skies.
Crimson Soul could be seen.
Behind him was his well-known King Crimson.
"What is the meaning of this Crimson Soul?" He roared.
"You. Have you grown tired of taking a beating and escaped from Central Continent? Is that it, you think we from the Southern Border are easy to bully!"
After saying those words, Uru Tan He raised his arms and shouted.
"But take a look around you! You truly think you can do as you please here, of all places?"
Crimson Soul smiled at him.
"You believe that the numbers give you the advantage."
"And coincidentally, I think the same, too." His eyes turned into those of mockery.
"What?" Uru Tan He had a bad omen.
…
Hui Gui Yu turned her face to meet Le Tu and muttered.
"You…You should be worrying more about yourself."
"Huh?" Le Tu raised his eyebrows.
Suddenly, his expression turned into one of horror.
He felt a sharp pain in his apertur,e and once he used Divine Sense to perceive what was happening.
His expression grew even more aghast.
A horde of strange-looking red ghosts was wreaking havoc as they pleased.
While Le Tu was distracted.
Hui Gui Yu slipped far away.
Qin Kon Jian and Gu Sha Ju turned their gazes from each other for an instant, the two turning towards the bloodstream and the powerful aura they had felt.
But Gu Sha Ju recovered faster as he was already mentally prepared.
And using the lapse in judgment, moved even more fiercely.
"What are you doing? You idiot! This, this is no longer a tournament we are under-"Realisation dawned in his expression as he saw the wicked smile in his opponent.
He gritted his teeth and tried to slip away.
However.
Hui Gui Yu had approached silently.
Her body rapidly grew in size, and her concealed aura exploded violently.
And her body bulged.
Especially towards her arms.
Qin Kon Jian gritted his teeth; his aura surged.
His blood boiled, and a certain mist rapidly took shape.
Releasing a powerful substance, heavy water.
Heavy water was a special Water-Space Path Material, which, despite looking ordinary, was extraordinarily heavy.
Moreover, it was also possible to mix substances within, such as salt; by using a single 'litre' of such water, it was possible to contain tons of salt.
That material was the foundation of his Cultivation Method, the thing that enabled his body to grow as big.
And yet, he was burning it away.
In his rage, he shouted.
"You filthy thing. Do you think I will be killed so easily by the likes of you? You damned freak of nature!" Like a few others, he also realised the abnormalities within her body some time ago, but had not spoken a single word.
But now he vented the emotions in his heart freely.
The boiling water surged intensely; an ordinary Rank 6 Immortal would have been repelled easily.
Yet.
Hui Gui Yu held on, her nails stretching towards his neck.
"Hah…And I thought Cultivation was all about defying nature." Hui Gui Yu replied in a mocking tone.
"Fifteen thousand Dao Marks?" Qin Kon Jian's pupils shrank.
The truth was, he could have burned plenty more of Heavy Water to temporarily strengthen himself.
But to not burn all his foundation, he used up as little Heavy Water as he could afford to.
Besides. She was supposed to be nothing more than a Rank 6 Immortal; who would ever imagine she would be this strong?
He tried to burn more Heavy Water to fix his mistake, but it was already too late.
Alas.
In this world, there was no medicine for regret.
His misty barrier was unable to hold on, and in the end, he was beheaded in one swift motion by her.
But as his head flew away.
The expression on his face became utterly vicious.
"If I die, I am taking you with me!" The gigantic reserves of Heavy Water within the depths of his body.
Exploded in all directions.
Gu Sha Ju and Hui Gui Yu felt fear appear in their expressions.
But before the situation grew amiss, Crimson Soul appeared.
He grabbed the two of them and then used King Crimson to get away.
In the end, a colossal explosion took place.
Many Immortals who were still in shock at what was happening retreated nervously.
Leaving several mortals stranded and killed in the aftermath.
Crimson Soul's smile widened.
"Good! Good! The more chaos, the stronger I am."
Then he laughed heartily.
"Now! Uru Tan He, why don't you take a good look at your so-called hundred allies?" He stretched his hands widely.
Countless Immortals were in deep shock.
Their expression flickered in fear and anxiety.
As they saw the phantoms ripping their apertures apart.
"Tell me! How many among them do you think will be able to help you? How many of them know even a single thing about Soul Path?"
