Chapter 129 - Needed Banter

"Y-yes, of course. I mean… absolutely. Let me just… finish this." He fumbled with a folder, nearly dropping it, then shoved it into his leather satchel with a sheepish little laugh. "I was about to head out anyway. Father's been texting me about some board meeting tonight, but I can drop you first. No trouble at all."

Kota leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, the weight of the day still sitting heavy on his shoulders and between his legs. His new, thicker cock gave a lazy twitch inside his jeans at the sight of Theo's nervous energy, the way the principal's ass jiggled faintly when he bent over to grab his keys. "Thanks. Dad's running late on site again. Didn't feel like waiting for the bus."

Theo straightened up, slinging the satchel over one shoulder, and gave Kota a quick once-over, eyes lingering just a second too long on the front of his jeans before snapping back up. "You look… tired. Long day?" The question was innocent on the surface, but the faint smirk tugging at Theo's lips said he knew exactly how long Kota's day had been. He stepped around the desk, hips swaying in that unconscious, hypnotic way that made his cheeks clap softly with each step, the sound barely audible but enough to make Kota's mouth go dry.

"Something like that," Kota muttered, pushing off the doorframe and following Theo out into the empty hallway.

The school was eerily quiet now, lockers all closed, lights dimmed in the classrooms, the distant hum of the janitor's vacuum somewhere on the first floor the only sign that anyone else was still around.

Their footsteps echoed together, Kota's sneakers scuffing, Theo's dress shoes clicking sharply, as they made their way toward the staff parking lot at the side of the building.

Kota slid into the passenger seat, the leather creaking under his weight, while Theo climbed behind the wheel, adjusting the rearview mirror with fidgety fingers.

"So…" Theo started as he turned the key, the engine purring to life with a smooth, expensive hum. "Rough day at school, or…?" He let the question hang, glancing sideways with that knowing little smirk again, one hand resting on the gear shift while the other adjusted his loosened tie.

Kota snorted, leaning his head back against the headrest and closing his eyes for a second.

"You could say that. Skipped most of it, actually. Spent the morning… handling some training sessions upstairs. Riley and Elliot decided I needed to turn their little brothers into obedient sluts. Then the gym happened. Then the showers. Then… yeah. Long story."

Theo let out a soft, breathy laugh, the sound genuinely amused as he pulled out of the parking lot and onto the main road.

"Training sessions. That's one way to put it. I heard some… interesting noises coming from the changing rooms earlier. Sounded like someone was getting very thoroughly educated." He paused, biting his lower lip as the car accelerated smoothly. "Should I be jealous I wasn't invited? Or should I be grateful I didn't have to explain to the board why half the senior class was late to third period?"

Kota cracked one eye open, a tired grin tugging at his mouth despite everything. "You'd have been on your knees in the principal's office again if I'd dragged you into it. Might've been hard to explain that one to your dad."

Theo's ears turned pink, but he didn't deny it. Instead he shifted in his seat, the motion making his plump ass press more firmly into the leather, and gave Kota a sideways glance that was equal parts shy and filthy. "Father would have a stroke. Or… he might just increase my allowance if he knew how well I was 'networking' with the student body. He's always going on about building connections."

The banter felt easy, almost normal, the kind of light teasing that cut through the heavy exhaustion still weighing on Kota's body. The sun was dipping lower now, painting the suburbs in warm oranges and pinks as they drove past familiar strip malls and fast-food signs, the radio playing some low, forgettable pop song in the background. Theo kept one hand on the wheel, the other occasionally drifting to adjust the air conditioning or fiddle with the volume, but his eyes kept flicking toward Kota, curious and warm.

"You really skipped the whole day?" Theo asked after a comfortable stretch of silence, voice gentler now. "That's not like you. Or… maybe it is now. You've changed a bit since the beginning of the year. In a good way, I think. More… confident."

Kota shrugged, staring out the window at the passing houses. "Didn't plan on it. One thing led to another. Riley cornered me, then Dennis, then the showers… then you know how it goes. My dick's basically running the show these days. Feels like I can't walk ten feet without someone trying to drop to their knees."

Theo let out another soft laugh, this one a little breathier. "Poor you. Must be so difficult being the last real cock in a world full of desperate boys. However do you manage?" He reached over and gave Kota's thigh a quick, playful squeeze, fingers lingering just a second longer than necessary before pulling back to the wheel. "If it gets too much, my office door is always open. Or my… other doors."

Kota snorted, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction. "Yeah, I'll keep that in mind. Though after today I might need a week off from anything with a pulse. My balls feel like they've been through a war."

They drove on, the conversation drifting into lighter territory, Theo complaining about the latest board meeting his father had dragged him to, Kota grumbling about the upcoming English essay he still hadn't started, both of them trading small, tired jokes about the absurdity of the new world they lived in. The sun dipped lower, the sky turning a deep lavender as they turned onto Kota's street. Theo pulled up smoothly in front of the apartment complex, the engine idling quietly while he put the car in park.

"Here we are," Theo said softly, turning to face Kota fully now, one arm draped over the steering wheel. His expression had softened, the usual nervous energy replaced by something warmer, almost affectionate. "Try to get some actual rest tonight, yeah? No more surprise training sessions in the stalls, At least not without inviting me."

Kota managed a small, genuine smile as he unbuckled his seatbelt. "No promises. But… thanks for the ride. And for… you know. Not making it weird."

Theo's laugh was quiet and fond. "Making it weird is my specialty. But I'll behave. For now." He leaned over the center console just enough to give Kota's shoulder a gentle bump with his own. "Text me if you need anything. Or if you just want to talk. Or… anything else."

Kota nodded, stepping out into the cooling evening air, the car door closing with a solid thunk behind him. He watched Theo's car pull away, the taillights glowing red as it disappeared down the street, before turning toward the entrance of his building.

The weight of the day still sat on him, heavy, confusing, exhilarating, but for the first time in hours he felt a small pocket of calm. The banter in the car had helped.

Theo's easy presence had helped. Even the ridiculousness of it all had helped.

He climbed the stairs to his apartment, the familiar creak of the steps under his sneakers grounding him, and let himself inside. The place was still empty, Khalil not home yet, the quiet almost welcoming after the nonstop noise of the day. Kota dropped his backpack by the door, kicked off his shoes, and headed straight for his room, the events of the last twelve hours replaying in fragments behind his eyes as he collapsed onto his bed.

The drive home had been simple. Just two guys talking shit and flirting lightly while the world outside kept turning. Nothing more, nothing less.

And for tonight, that was more than enough.

He closed his eyes, the faint scent of Theo's cologne still clinging to his hoodie, and let the exhaustion finally pull him under, the strange new weight between his legs and the even stranger new reality of his life settling around him like a blanket he was slowly learning how to wear.
