Chapter 717 - V9-18 Jax X Pomni

"No way have you run out of adventure ideas already," Jax rolled his eyes. "I am not doing that again."

Caine floated above them, still holding his grandiose pose under text that read "RETURN TO THE NIGHT SHIFT". He began laughing and slowly lowered to eye-level with the rabbit.

"Come on Jax, I promise it will be even better this time. Last time you learned how the job works, so there will be less growing pains this time."

"Um," Pomni squeaked and raised a hand. "How will this be different than last time? Not that I hated it! Just curious..."

Caine turned to speak to her next. "Don't worry my little jester! This time you'll have a different manager. That makes everything different, right?"

Beside him, Zooble scoffed. "If only we could get a different manager here."

He agreed, but wouldn't give them the satisfaction of being right. "What if we make Zoolbe the manager?"

"F^#% you!"

Caine tapped his chin. "Now, now, we can't have a sailor mouth leading you! Corporate wouldn't like that."

Gangle sulked. "I know you don't want me again. Sorry guys."

"Don't worry Gangle," Caine pat her back. "You'll just be a normal employee tonight. No pressure at all!"

Ragatha chimed in. "I don't want to push Kinger too hard, what if I be the manager this time?"

Jax rolled his eyes. "No way, you got high on the clock last time!"

"It was an accident!" She fought back, pacing towards him with a scowl on her face. "Though I don't regret any of what I said to you."

"Woah, what a temper," Jax grinned and stepped back. "Caine, do you really think this behaviour will foster a healthy workplace?"

Caine sighed and flew around in a circle. "Wow, we really don't have many natural leaders here."

Everyone looked at each other, trying to think of who could lead them. Kinger was an obvious no, what position could he work anyways? Jax didn't want Ragatha, she would purposely make his life difficult. Caine ruled out Zooble...

That leaves me and Pomni. He would love to boss everyone around, but he would rather let Zooble manage them than do any more work then necessary. Plus it was funny watching Pomni scramble around during their president adventure. She should wear formal clothes more often...

"Pomni! Have her be the manager."

Across from him, Pomni's face instantly turned into one of disgust. "No way, I could never-"

Jax felt his smile creep through his whole face. "Come on, Pomni. You basically were the manager last time, considering how Gangle freaked out and had you close up for her."

Pomni scrambled to defend herself. "Well I-"

Caine put his hands on Pomni's head. "Splendid! A worker who cares about everyone and takes initiative, that's manager quality if I've ever seen it!"

He snapped his fingers and the portal opened up. "Go on, my minimum-wage miracles!"

In a blink of an eye, they were all positioned outside Spudsy's once more. Their cars all parked behind of the building in the designated Employee Parking spots. The back of the building was just as dingy as before, the giant dumpster beside the door just waiting to be filled with the day's trash. A security camera pointed directly on top of the dumpster instead of the parking lot like it should. Jax groaned and put his forehead on the steering wheel, every sight a reminder of how horrible the last shift was. He could barely hear the sounds of his cast mates getting out of their vehicles and entering the building over the pounding in his head.

What is wrong with Caine? He must really hate us. Reluctantly, he sat up and clicked the door open, careful not to hit Zooble's car beside his. He took a deep breath and nearly choked, the stench of his all-black uniform violating his senses.

"I haven't even clocked in yet and I already smell like the deep fryer. Perfect."

By the door, Pomni was already waiting for him. Her outfit was different then the rest of them. She donned a deep blue dress shirt, the cuffs rolled up to her elbows. A dark red tie sat around her neck and tucked into her pants. Her shoes were dark brown non-slips, but they looked more formal than his own. Her jester hat was all black, the bells a darker, rich gold. The gloves matched it, black with gold bands.

Holy shit. He stood there breathless, taking in her look. As much as he hated to admit it, he found her very attractive like this. Pomni already caught his attention as she is, but in a position of power, he always found it difficult to look away.

"Good morning, Jax," she shyly waved, holding the door open for him. "Head on in, I'll be another moment. Gotta take a call from head office."

He shook his head, as if physically shaking would stave off the dirty thoughts threatening to take shape in his mind. "Fine, but you know I'm doing the bare minimum."

"I thought you'd say that," her voice stern. "That's why you'll be training Kinger on fries. He can't exactly be trusted to take orders you know."

Jax spun around. "No way."

Pomni giggled. "Don't worry, Zooble's got him first. Just go clock in."

With a deep sigh he followed her orders. The door slammed behind him and he was greeted with the painful fluorescent lighting of the storage/break room. He dragged his feet as he made his way to the bulletin board, everyone's punch cards already set in place. Jax reached into his slot and pulled out a nametag, writing "T don't care" like last adventure.

I wonder if the stupid sauce burger is still on the menu. If he could get his hands on it again, it would certainly make the shift more bearable. He glanced at the board, reading that he would be positioned on register until lunch, then switched to fries for the rest of the day.

Jax passed by the stations, idly watching his coworkers set up. Zooble was showing Kinger how to set up the assembly line, Ragatha was restocking bags, and Gangle was setting up the fryers. As he passed, Jax silently stood behind Gangle.

"I should throw you in next for what you did."

Gangle screeched and jumped away, grabbing a fry basket and waving it in front of her. "Please don't!"

Jax loved watching her struggle to defend herself. "Why not?"

"I'll- I-" she kept waving the basket. "I'll tell on you!"

"Wow, what a mediocre response. You're usually more fun to bully."

Unsatisfied, Jax sulked away. I hope something interesting happens today. He wiped some sweat off his forehead and got to work turning on the coffee and tea machines. Empty slimlines sat open, two each for iced coffee, iced tea, and lemonade. He made quick work filling them with ice as the machines whirred, heating up the small area behind the counter.

Jax heaved the containers one by one to the fridge to cool, grabbing a couple boxes of lemonade concentrate. On his way back, he glanced at the clock. Ten minutes to open. Shit. He noticed Pomni standing outside her office, glancing around with a clipboard in hand.

"Hey Pompom," he called, making a detour to bug her. "Gonna help out at all?"

She sighed and lowered her board. "I need to make notes and take inventory."

Jax rolled his eyes. "Boring! I'm glad you're in charge, I would burn this place down if I were you."

Pomni looked like she was trying not to laugh. "Shut up and finish your tasks, everyone else is ready."

She was right. Everyone else was standing around chatting, their stations stocked and ready for service. Jax scowled and stomped back to the register, tearing the lemonade boxes open and propping them up to drain as he filled a container with water to dilute it.

Soon his tasks were done. The heat of the coffee machines never let down, so he was sweating again as he dragged the extra slimline to the fridge. Jax took a moment to stand in the walk-in, pulling his uniform shirt to circulate the cool air.

It better not stay this hot all day. Last time he didn't pay attention to the heat, just focusing on zoning out until his shift was done. But today was different. Pomni's their manager, and Jax wanted to mess with her as much as possible.

"Jax!" Speak of the devil. "Service is starting, get out here!"

He grinned and swung the door open. Pomni stood there, arms crossed. Jax noticed her look him up and down. "My, my, Pompom, no need to raise your voice at me. I'm just working my wage."

Pomni frowned. "We don't get any wage here, remember?"

"Exactly!" Jax tried strolling past her, but she grabbed his shirt and pulled him back.

"What-"

"Your nametag," her voice was cool and calm. "You can't have that on your nametag. Change it."

She catches on fast. That's what he loves about Pomni: she's not afraid to challenge him back. To play into his bits. Today will be fun. If he was going to swing, she would swing harder. Jax was ready for it all.

"No."

Pomni pulled a marker out of her pocket. "I wasn't asking."

"I'm not letting those weirdos know my name," Jax pulled out of her grip. "It's weird when strangers call you directly by name."

Her gaze softened as if to agree. "Then at least put a fake name. I don't want Caine to punish me for your misbehaviour."

Jax groaned and took the marker, smudging away the hastily-written message. He put the cap to his lip, thinking for a moment. Then he scribbled down the least Jax-sounding name of all: Thomas

"There. I'm Thomas today. Happy?"

Pomni grinned and took her marker back. "Very. Now get back out there, customers are waiting."

Jax dragged his feet past his castmates, ignoring any attempts to talk to him. His eyes were set on the front door, which somehow had customers lining up already. He sighed as he turned the lock, a mannequin already trying to push the door open.

"Finally!" It exclaimed, not even waiting for Jax to step back before shoving the door wide open and pushing past him to stand at the register.

"What the f^#%?" He whispered to himself as he went back through the Staff Only door and signed into the till. "Well, what do you want?"

He heard the sounds of Gangle and Ragatha giggling behind him and he swore to get them back later. The NPC in front of him shrugged and leaned up to read the menu.

"Can you give me a minute? I don't know what I want yet and your staring is making me nervous."

F^#% this. Jax stared at the clock at the bottom of the till. It had the time down to the second, as if to mock his impatience. Behind him, he could hear the sounds of his coworkers casually chatting. Zooble's voice was thick with held-back frustration as they tried teaching Kinger, who could barely remember what they said a moment ago. Gangle giving words of encouragement to them both. Ragatha pointing out things to Pomni that stock was already running low of. Here Jax was, confined to the painfully small, non-air conditioned box of the register. It had been the perfect size for Pomni last time, but it was torture for him.

Pomni... Jax couldn't stop thinking about her. Her new outfit was hard to look away from. He would have to be careful or else she or their other castmates would catch him staring. Nothing would be more embarrassing than showing his true feelings to them. But the way she tucked her tie into her pants, the striking blue of her button-up, and bold hat and gloves had him mesmerized. He could feel sweat forming under his hat, threatening to drip down his face.

"Hey!"

The NPC slammed its hand on the counter, breaking him out of his daydream. "Are you going to let me order or not?"

Jax shook his head and feigned a smile. "Sorry about that sir, what can we get started for you?"

How am I going to survive this?

The breakfast rush had gone by in a flash, giving no time to waste to pester Pomni like he had hoped. The only time he spoke to her was to ask if she had made more hash browns yet. But now they were taking the small reprieve to restock and swap stations. Jax finished preparing another slimline of lemonade and dragged it to the walk-in. Done with his tasks, he found Gangle at the fryers.

When she noticed him, she didn't jump this time. Her mask didn't have any tears, but she wasn't smiling. She almost resembled a mindless drone.

"I made sure to leave it as clean as possible," she explained. "All you gotta do is refill the salt shakers. Pomni is finishing up preparing the grill."

Jax winced. It was like Gangle has zoned out and truly became a representation of the phrase "wage slave". He nodded as she walked away, heading for the assembly line to swap out with Zooble and Kinger. Zooble touched her shoulder with concern and Jax couldn't make out their conversation, only able to observe their body language and wish that he could have such chemistry with Pomni.

Breaking from his thoughts again, he waved Kinger over. "Ready to handle the big guns?"

Kinger blinked. "But these are deep fryers, not guns."

Jax groaned and grabbed his face. "It was supposed to be a joke. How much of Zooble's training do you remember?"

The chess piece stared at the fryers, lost in thought – or lack of. He hummed and ignored Jax's question, grabbing one of the baskets and bouncing it in his hand.

"Alright, I'll handle most of this," if Kinger wasn't going to remember what to do, then Jax would give him the simplest thing to do. "When the timer goes off, all I want you to do is take the basket out of the oil, shake it out, and dump the fries on the giant tray here. Got it?"

Kinger blinked again. "You can count on me!"

Jax grinned to hide his anger. Pomni was so going to get it for making him do this. He looked around, wanting to speak to her before business picked back up. She was standing at the expo station, adjusting the order monitor to her eye level.

"Oh Manager Pompom," Jax strutted over, exaggerating his movements. "King here said it's okay if he closes for me. He leaves at eight, right?"

Without looking, Pomni rolled her eyes. "No. You're closing with me. No swaps."

Jax dramatically sprawled his body on her counter, knocking over a sleeve of large pop cups. "Come on, I deserve it after all my hard work."

"If anyone deserves to leave early it's Zooble. They did a great job training Kinger and keeping our times down this morning. All you did was complain and moan about how tired you were."

He clearly wasn't breaking her character. "You try dealing with those bozo NPCs for hours on end."

She finally looked at him, sternly placing her hands on her hips. "I did last time, that's why I made you do it today. Because I'm in charge and in control of you. Now get back to work before I call Caine up and have some kind of punishment ready."

Oh no. That ignited something in him for sure. The way she squinted as she looked down on him. The confident stance. Her altered outfit. Everything about the way Pomni carried herself today was driving him crazy. Every interaction was becoming fuel for his fantasies after getting back to the circus. He wondered what it would be like if the angle was more extreme, like if he was lying in bed and she-

"Jax!" Thud.

He blinked hard and jumped up. Pomni had hit him over the head with the sleeve he knocked over. "What was that for?"

"Customers are coming in, get on the fryers!"

Jax sulked his way back over to Kinger. The chess piece stared at him as he held up a basket to the overhead fry dispenser.

"Press this button to dispense fries. Put the basket in the fryer and turn the knob. Once the timer goes off, flip the fries into the big tray. Got it?"

Thankfully Kinger nodded, repeating what Jax showed him without flaw. Jax spun around to the grill, quickly putting on a glove and spacing out the frozen plastic pucks. The rhythm came easy: put pucks on grill, push top down and set timer, salt fries and portion for expo, turn back around and take the pucks off the grill and into a tray for assembly.

Thank God I was unemployed in the real world, he thought to himself. If I had to do this to survive then I would have ki-

"Ow!"

While spacing out, Jax had dropped a sizzling hot puck on his arm. Wincing, he flung it into the garbage and rushed to finish dishing up the rest of the pucks.

Jax continued more carefully, quickly stocking assembly faster than Gangle could go. The heat of running around the fryers and grill caused his vision to be obscured by sweat. Was he the only one who could feel it? Nobody else looked like they were flushed and hot like he was. He took a moment to fan his shirt and looked around.

Kinger was made of wood, so no sweating there. Gangle really only cried, Zooble was a plastic mess. Ragatha? Nah, her fabric never got damp. Pomni?

Peering through the fry shelf, Jax caught a glimpse of Pomni. She was struggling to move quick enough to keep up with the orders coming in, her little legs and arms hindering her. Her face was scrunched up, struggling to maintain composure. Maybe it was the heatwaves coming off the hot shelf, but Jax thought he could see her forehead shine.

The jester noticed him staring. "What is your problem?"

"It's funny watching you squirm."

Pomni scowled. "I swear I will-"

Ding!

"What was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of the patties finishing. Care to repeat yourself?"

Pomni rolled her eyes and turned around to the ticket printer. Jax smiled to himself as he opened the grill and slid the pucks into another tray.

Time passed in a blur, the motions of the job numbing Jax's brain. By the time he had a moment to spare, the sun had already set outside. Kinger left for his break, as well as Pomni. The four remaining were left to run the floor by themselves. Thankfully, the stream of customers had stopped for now.

Ragatha yelped somewhere in the back. "Guys, the trash bin is completely overflowing!"

Everyone gathered around her. The giant wheelbarrow was indeed overflowing, bags of stale buns, expired eggs, and customer trash spilled over the sides and piled higher than Gangle.

"Yeah I'm not touching that," Zooble shrugged and leaned away. "My limbs will pop off."

Gangle wrung her hands. "I, well, you see..."

Jax rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, get out of the dirty work so you two can go kiss in the walk-in while the manager is out. Whatever."

"Jax-"

He ignored Ragatha's complaints, pulling the key to the outdoor bin off the wall. "I'm dying for some fresh air, don't think I'm doing you girls a favour."

Zooble rolled their eyes. "Come on Ragatha, I can handle both register and drive if you hop on grill."

The gang went back to the floor, leaving Jax alone with the trash mountain. He stared at its size, wondering how they had managed to neglect it all day. Why didn't Caine make trash automatically disappear when it hits a can? No time to complain, only do. He propped the door open and began re-arranging some of the cardboard boxes to form a wall so nothing would spill on the way to the bin.

Cool air blast through the door and engulfed his body, finally offering relief to the heat of the building. Jax took his hat off and began fanning himself, whisking away the puddle of sweat on his brow. He gave the cart a push, struggling over the threshold until it dropped onto the concrete.

Thankfully the dumpster wasn't far from the door. Jax heaved the cart in front of the dumpster and unlocked it, throwing the top open. The information sticker on the front read "ALL TRASH ACCEPTED" with a green circle around food, burger wrappers, cans, and cardboard boxes.

The cardboard floated to the bottom with ease. The giant black trash bags proved more difficult. Jax struggled to lift them one by one above his head into the dumpster. Minutes passed by, all the sweat he previously cleared had come back for vengeance. His shirt began to stick to his slender body.

"F^#% this," he cursed to himself, struggling to lift the last – and heaviest – bag up. He kicked the wheelbarrow on its side and slid the bag onto the ground, bracing his whole body to pick it up and slam it into the dumpster.

"How did they get it in there to begin with?" Jax closed the top and locked it. He struggled to catch his breath, taking his hat off and propping the wheelbarrow back upright.

He took a moment to lean against the dumpster, the lip pressing against the middle of his shoulders uncomfortably. So hot! He turned around to double check the angle of the camera. Just as he saw earlier, it was pointed directly at the middle of the lid of the dumpster.

Just for a moment... Jax popped open the top buttons of his uniform. The cold night air ruffled through his fur and calmed him. He stretched his arms above his head, the lip of the dumpster digging under his shoulder blades.

Annoyed, he stepped away from the dumpster. He felt the edge. The lid was flush with the body on the side. Jax shook his head and slipped around the corner.

"Ah!"

"What?!"

Pomni sat on a milk crate in the corner. Her shirt was halfway undone, her hat resting on her lap and hair a mess. Her mouth curled into a nervous line, her body shaking. Jax glanced at her chest on instinct, noticing a modest black bra. Pomni started and covered up with her hat.

"Don't stare at me like that!"

"Why are you sitting out here half-naked then?"

The jester made a fist, biting her lip for a response. "It's so f^#%ing hot in there. I had to cool off."

Jax sighed. "At least I'm not the only one who noticed. Why does Caine program temperature into his adventures when majority of us don't have a body that can sense it?"

His comment seemed to calm Pomni. Her lips curled up slightly. "Sometimes I wish I could smoke here. I never did in the real world, but it seemed to calm down my colleagues. There's no negatives to our health here."

"What, you want to take five smoke breaks in two hours while us sober people suffer until our scheduled breaks to even pee?"

Pomni finally cracked a smile. She leaned back against the wall, her hat falling down her body and revealing the top of her bra. "Thanks Jax."

Jax's heart fluttered. He felt good that she was relaxed around him, even in this state. He felt like pushing her a little more. Propping an arm on the bin, he leaned over her.

"What kind of a manager are you? I'm dilly-dallying out here with my shirt open when I'm supposed to be inside working. Don't I get a write-up for that?"

She rolled her eyes. "Can't you enjoy anything without trying to mess with it? Just chill with me for now. It's not busy."

He felt his pupils go wide. She's telling me to stay with her. With her shirt open. Holy sh-

"Nowhere to sit though."

Wow what a great response, she totally won't send you back in for that! Pomni sighed, then put her hat on the ground. Jax really couldn't stop himself from staring at her chest. The way her shirt folded as she moved allowed him to see everything. Her breasts were small but noticeable, covered by a simple black bra. Jax couldn't stop himself from wanting to see more.

Pomni stood up and stepped to the side, gesturing to the crate. "You sit."

Jax became very aware of every sensation in his body. His heart pounded, his fur gently moved in the breeze, and his palms became clammy under his gloves. Eyes wide, he followed her command and slowly sat down, his legs straining on the long journey. He looked up, Pomni meeting his gaze.

"You look like you needed to sit more than me," she giggled, her chest bouncing as she laced her hands together and shrugged.

"Uh, yeah."

The way she was staring at him drove him mad. Could she possibly feel the same way too? Jax intertwined his fingers. He felt like he should say something – take a risk – but something inside him stopped him. Something that made him fear this feeling was too real. Everything was banter and fun, he didn't want to think about romantics and lust.

But here Pomni was, chest exposed like him. Her soft, beautiful features barely visible in the artificial light. Just the two of them alone and ignoring their responsibilities to spend time together. All of it crashed together in his head and chilled him. Jax couldn't say anything.

"Uh, Jax?"

He was taken out of his trance. Pomni leaned closer, her eyes narrowed in concern.

"I can leave you be if needed. I know it's-"

"Wait," he started. "Please stay. I'm just... bad at this."

She tilted her head and opened her mouth, but closed it, realizing what he meant.

"Oh, Jax, I- I didn't think you felt that way."

Jax tossed his head back against the wall. "Feel free to call me a freak and abandon me."

The fake stars struggled to stay clear in his eyes. Pomni was silent but didn't move. Then, suddenly, she loomed over him, nearly pressing their chests together.

"I understand the feeling," she breathed into his mouth, her eyes fixated on his thin lips. "I really do."

Fire shot through his veins as she kissed him, bringing back the light that had drained in the last few minutes. Jax tilted his head up to match her, reaching out and grabbing her arm.

"Pomni," he pulled away. "Sit with me."

She grinned, swinging a leg over him and sitting on his lap, fully pressing them together. Jax gripped her sides and she smiled.

"You're a jerk," Pomni intentionally rubbed her chest on him. "But that's what I like about you. Every day with you is a new risk and I crave it."

Jax allowed himself to let loose, his feelings confirmed to be reciprocated. He ran his hands up her body, tugging her collar. "Want to do something really risky?"

Pomni responded by nodding and letting him pull her shirt off, exposing her pale skin to the night. Jax's breath caught in his throat as he stared. Pomni grabbed her bra straps.

"Come on, don't let me be the only one naked here."

He blinked and did what she said, tossing his shirt next to hers on the ground. She locked eyes with him and slowly pulled the straps down, her smile twisting as Jax struggled to maintain eye contact. He could feel his dick twitch impatiently as he reached back to unclip her bra.

It fell onto the ground too, revealing what he had been lusting for. Her breasts were just as smooth and pretty as the rest of her, her nipples red and blue respectively. Jax couldn't stop his mouth from hanging open.

"You dirty rabbit," Pomni muttered as she braced her hands on his chest and kissed him again, harder than the last time.

Jax groaned and deepened the kiss, rubbing her back as he nibbled her bottom lip. Pomni welcomed it, shoving her tongue in his mouth. He slid a hand down her back, stopping at her belt.

"Pomni," he broke away for a moment. "Is it okay if..."

She nodded, rolling her hips down. The friction against his boner felt amazing. He reached back around to sloppily undo her belt. Pomni helped, biting her lip as she unzipped them and tried shimmying out of the denim.

Jax helped her momentarily stand up to rip the restrictive clothes off, dealing with his own as she took off her panties. He sprung free, dick a darker purple than his body. It throbbed as he finally pumped it, relieving some of the aching. Jax glanced at Pomni, who absently played with her nipple as she watched him.

"Get over here," Jax pleaded, thumbing his tip. "I need you."

Pomni smiled and sat down lower on his thighs, grabbing his hips. "How do you want to do this?"

Jax hummed, remembering that they were unfortunately on the clock. "Ride me."

She smiled and snaked a hand down to her clit. "I like the sound of that."

Pomni circled her clit a few times before plunging in a couple fingers. Jax could only stare and grip the base of his cock to stop himself from finishing just to the sight. Her breath touched him softly as she prepared herself, and Jax's heart felt like it would burst out of his chest.

Then she pulled out and moved up his body, pressing her folds against him. Jax gripped her waist and winced, loving the feeling of her wet folds rubbing him.

"Pomni," Jax sighed into her. "Please..."

Thankfully she didn't need much convincing. She lined him up against her entrance and sunk down, squeezing impossibly tight around him. Jax panted and pushed her down the rest of the way, causing her to yelp and suck him all the way on.

"Oh my!" Pomni crashed her lips into his again, making him the outlet of her feelings. Jax felt her rock their hips together as she moaned and bumped their teeth together.

The moment felt like pure bliss, better than anything he had felt in the Circus before. Jax gently bucked into her, craving the way her pussy resisted and sucked him right back in. Pomni looked so dishevelled bouncing on his cock, and he wondered for a moment if he looked just as desperate. The fur around his crotch was getting damp, clinging to Pomni as she moved.

"Jax," she managed to say between her ministrations. "Feels so good."

He hummed in response, unable to speak. Her pussy had him in a trance, knocking his breath out every time she slammed down and he touched the very back of her walls. Jax gripped her ass, using her to chase his own high. Pomni accepted his, lolling her tongue out as Jax controlled her body.

"F^#% Jax, keep doing that!"

He squeezed his eyes shut, moving to kiss her neck. He needed every part of her. He needed to kiss whatever he could reach, to bite and gnaw her and claim her. Her skin tasted sweet, her sweat intoxicating him. Jax kept sucking and digging his teeth in wherever he could.

A gush of juices flowed out of Pomni as he bit the crook of her neck, and Jax felt his balls tighten. He was getting close. He pulled away and looked at Pomni, her eyes glazed over with pleasure as he rutted into her.

"I'm so close Jax," she stuttered, heaving and grinding her clit on him.

"Me too baby," Jax breathed, biting his lip. He felt her leak out again, squeezing like a vice grip when he forced her back down. The elastic band in his crotch pulled to its limit, and Jax couldn't stop himself from cumming, spilling deep inside her pussy.

Pomni moaned as she realized what happened, doubling over and resting her forehead on his chest as she came, making a strained screaming sound as her pussy throbbed and milked him dry. They breathed together, softly grinding as they rode out their highs. Jax felt his cum drip out onto his lap, and Pomni rubbed her face against his chest and looked up at him.

"Jax," she spoke first. "That was amazing."

He only nodded in response, rubbing her back as he softened. Hopefully she understood that he felt the same, as the words were refusing to come out of his mouth. Pomni sighed softly and rubbed her hand through his fur. A gentle breeze cooled them, bringing them back to reality.

Pomni moved first, wincing as his soft dick slipped out of her. "I should go clean up before my break's over."

Jax groaned. "Don't remind me that we're technically working right now."

She laughed and threw his shirt on his face. "Get dressed, I'll cover for you if someone asks."

He groaned into the fabric. After this, he didn't want to go back. Pomni seemed to sense this.

"Maybe we can do this again," her voice was soft, like she was testing the waters that he was willing to swim. "You know, when we're back home and not under a time constraint. It would be nice."

Hope flickered in his chest. Jax pulled his shirt on properly, locking eyes with Pomni as she fiddled with the buttons on her own. She smiled so sincerely that even if Jax had hesitated it would have convinced him.

"Of course Pompom."

She narrowed her eyes and threw his pants on his head. "Don't give me weird names. I'm Manager Pomni right now."

With that, she strutted away, trying to look confident. Jax smiled to himself. She likes me back, I better not mess this up. He pulled his clothes the best he could, hoping he didn't look too messy. The wheelbarrow was waiting for him where he left it. Jax grabbed it and dragged it back inside, preparing to answer to his coworkers where he had been for the last fifteen minutes.
