Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: End of the Exam

August 7th. The desert island exam was finally coming to an end. The students, following the instructions of their class teachers, began packing up their campsites.

The atmosphere in Class D was no longer as tense as it had been on the fourth and fifth days. Everyone assumed Ibuki was the bad guy and blamed her for stealing the underwear.

It's just a shame, how long will this last?

Kamio Tatsuya wondered, maybe, after I leave Class D?

Meanwhile, Ayanokouji thought about the final points Class D might get as he packed. The temporary points for taking bases, plus the initial points left at the end, would be about 130 points.

The leader of Class B is Totsuka Yahiko, Ayanokouji felt he should be right about this.

The leader of Class B is Shiranami Chihiro. After thinking for a while, Ayanokouji decided not to write it down.

Currently, Class C and Class D have 145 and 127 class points, respectively.

With only 18 points difference, if his prediction was right, Class D would move up to Class C after this exam.

At that point, the relationship with Class B probably wouldn't be as allies anymore.

But even so, at least for now, betraying an ally is easy to do but sounds bad.

As for Class C, the leader should be Ryuen. However, Ibuki's sudden departure from Class D on the last day was also suspicious.

Just to be safe, Ayanokouji decided not to write down Ryuen's name.

That way, Class D will be able to get 180 class points.

The class whose leader was guessed, Class B, and Class C which used up all their points, probably won't be able to catch up.

I won!

As for Class A, Katsuragi was quietly confirming the achievements of Class A in his heart.

Because he signed a material transaction contract with Ryuen, all of the initial 270 points were saved.

Then the extra reward for taking bases was 274 points, and guessing the leaders of Class C and Class D was another 100 points.

That's right, Katsuragi wrote down Ryuen's name after all. In his opinion, Ryuen was an extremely selfish guy.

He signed that kind of contract from the beginning to get a large number of private points and transfer classes, right?

Humph, this kind of guy will be hit back by the class sooner or later!

So, the final class points Class A will get are 644 points!

Although he would have to give Ryuen 80,000 private points every month in the future, compared to this huge result, these are nothing.

And as long as Ryuen isn't at the school anymore, this amount can naturally be canceled!

Thinking of this, Katsuragi was excited for a while, and a hint of joy couldn't help but appear on his face.

In comparison, Ibuki Mio, the leader of Class C, was thinking much simpler things at the moment.

She had already written down Totsuka Yahiko and Shiranami Chihiro's names, so that would be 100 points, right?

And the points Ryuen got for taking bases these few days, totaled 124 points.

...

At noon, students from all four classes gradually walked out of the forest and gathered on the beach where they started.

"We are now calculating the exam results, please wait a moment. Since the exam is over, if any students need to drink beverages or use the restroom, please go to the rest area."

Such an announcement suddenly rang out nearby, and the students also breathed a sigh of relief and walked towards the temporary rest areas set up by the school.

The students who quit, such as those from Class C and Horikita, were waiting on the cruise ship, watching the live broadcast on the big screen for the results.

"Look! It's Ibuki!"

The students of Class D spotted Ibuki who had just come out of the forest.

"Damn it! That guy actually dares to show up!"

"Hey! Ibuki, you're the one who stole the girls' underwear and blamed it on us boys, right?"

Because they were unhappy, some boys immediately went up to question her.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Do you have evidence?"

Ibuki said lightly.

Although she didn't admit it, her attitude already said everything.

"I said a long time ago we shouldn't have taken her in!"

The students of Class D felt guilty. Because of Ibuki, there were problems within their class, and they had to let Horikita give up the exam, causing Class D to be deducted an extra 30 points.

Ibuki calmly glanced at the students of Class D: "Blame yourselves for being too naive."

"Damn it!"

Ayanokouji in the crowd took a look at Ibuki, and then sighed to himself.

Good thing he didn't write down Ryuen's name.

Then he glanced at Kamio Tatsuya who was drinking water with a paper cup.

He doesn't seem surprised at all, could it be that he did something?

Click──The sound of the megaphone button being turned on quickly spread throughout the beach, and then Mashima-sensei's figure appeared in front of the students.

The first-year students hurriedly prepared to line up, but Mashima-sensei stopped the students with his hand.

"You can be casual, the exam is over, and now it's considered part of the summer vacation. Although the time is short, you don't need to be so restrained."

Although he said so, the atmosphere between the students was still tense, and the sounds of chatting gradually disappeared.

"This week, we've really seen your effort for the special exam. Although the methods you took were different, I think the exam results were excellent. Everyone! Good job."

Hearing Mashima-sensei's unhesitating praise, the students showed expressions of relief, especially those guys from Class A, who felt like they were being praised specifically.

"So next, I will announce the results of this special exam, but let me state in advance that we will not accept any questions about the results. I hope you accept the results yourselves and analyze them, and apply this to the next exam."

"So next I will announce the rankings of the exam, the last place is..."

"Class A – 20 points."

20 points?

After learning this result, the students of Class A immediately fell into great turbulence.

"Impossible!"

"There must be something wrong!"

Was the leader exposed?

Katsuragi felt a sharp pain in his heart, but what confused him even more was another point.

He looked at Class D in disbelief. Kamio Tatsuya was standing in the line, which meant that Kamio Tatsuya had not given up.

Then why?

Why isn't he the leader?

"Third place, Class C, 124 points."

Ibuki wasn't surprised at all by this result, because it was exactly the same as what she calculated.

"Second place, Class D, 180 points."

"First place, Class B, 190 points."

Hearing the final news, Ayanokouji was slightly surprised. Class B was able to get 190 points even after the leader was guessed.

As expected, Kouenji and Horikita's giving up had too much of an impact on the score?

However, although he didn't get first place, this result should be enough to satisfy Chabashira-sensei, right?
