The last two days were hectic. A ceremony that was usually held with modesty was suddenly being done with grandeur just to clear the worries among the people.
By the evening, the academy already looked like an entirely different place. Students who usually went back to their rooms after sunset were running around the campus. Some, out of excitement. Some are checking in on last-minute details.
And those who weren't interested in roaming around were all gathered in the plaza in the very center of the academy.
A grand formation had been created in the middle. Every part of the circular area was covered with runes and inscriptions done by the mages over the course of two days.
Protection. Purification. Boundary stabilization. Spirit repulsion. Disaster prevention.
All types of ritual formations were made.
The moon wasn't up yet, so they were making the last-minute preparations.
