It had been days, and the planning was actually going well. Lucian had helped a lot. Christmas was only a week away now.
I didn't know why, but I was so happy doing this. Like I was finally paying all my debts. Those children at the orphanage deserved more.
I would do more, I promised. All I needed was for this Christmas plan to work well.
I was already in the car, going to work.

The car finally stopped.
"Good morning, ma'am." My assistant carried my bag as I walked in.
Everything was going as planned. Who had called the meeting? Lucian? No, he should have said something.
Then the greetings started. This had happened for four days now, and they kept greeting.
I entered the marketing department and walked toward the meeting room.
Nobody even changed position. They kept talking like no one was there. They still believed I didn't deserve the position.
