That's what Zane intended to do.
They were in Seb's. The shop was for clothes and everyone wanted to know why.
But Hena took the initiative and asked the gutterborn about it.
Zane let out a sigh and moved closer to her ears.
Then in a low voice and hot breath, he revealed his purpose.
"We are here to become gilded trash."
He said it with a smile but Hena's reaction wasn't what he expected.
"What even is that? And you are too close."
Zane shifted a little from her.
"You were too close too."
"I did not do that."
"You did it a few seconds ago."
"I was asking for the mission. That doesn't count."
Zane opened his mouth but closed it.
He stopped talking.
He clenched his fist and let them go the next second.
He saw no point.
Hena used her own logic and more than that, he felt a little sad.
Of course she would not like me being too close. Why did I embarrass myself?
He shook his head.
