Chapter 286 - Chapter 286: Where Did the Owl Come From?

"Goku, now the Kage of the four hidden villages have come to the village. As the Hokage, I need to entertain them, so I'm afraid I don't have time to teach you medical ninjutsu and the Yin Seal.

But don't worry, Sakura has already received my true teachings and can completely guide you in learning medical ninjutsu and the Yin Seal."

After inquiring about Goku's purpose for coming to learn the Yin Seal, Tsunade immediately pulled out her closed-door disciple, Haruno Sakura.

There were reasons why Sakura was tasked with teaching Goku medical ninjutsu and the Yin Seal.

Firstly, with the Five Kage Summit approaching, she genuinely couldn't spare the time to instruct Goku.

Secondly, she worried about the dangers Naruto and his friends might encounter on their way to find Sasuke and Itachi.

After all, if that Uchiha Madara was truly Uchiha Madara, even with Kakashi leading the team, they would essentially be easy prey.

Jiraiya also needed to remain in the village to oversee things.

During the Five Kage Summit, the village needed top-tier ninjas and a sufficient number of elite Jonin to prevent any unforeseen events.

"Hello, my name is Haruno Sakura, nice to meet you!" Sakura bowed somewhat reservedly to Goku.

This boy was a terrifying ninja capable of destroying the moon with a single blow.

"Nice to meet you!"

Goku returned the bow politely.

For him, it didn't matter who taught him, as long as he could learn.

"Then let's meet at the village gate in an hour."

Kakashi secretly breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the incredibly strong Goku join the team.

Naruto, as the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, was a target that the Akatsuki absolutely needed, and leading the team alone was a huge burden for him.

What if Sasuke wasn't found, and Naruto was lost too?

To be honest, even now that he had awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan, he didn't have much confidence facing this former junior.

"What a reassuring guy."

An hour later, outside the Konoha gates.

Goku took an owl out of a box and asked Kakashi, the team leader,

"Which one do you want to find first?"

"We'll find Uchiha Itachi first." Kakashi handed the prepared envelope to Goku.

He knew Sasuke's personality well. Even if he told Sasuke the truth, Sasuke wouldn't believe him.

He would only think it was a lie they made up to take him back to the village.

Sasuke's hatred for Itachi Uchiha ran too deep; it couldn't be explained in a few words.

Therefore, he needed to find Itachi first, inform him of Konoha's current situation, and make Itachi understand that the village no longer needed him as a spy and that he could return to the village.

Then, by reasoning with Sasuke, the problem wouldn't be so big.

"Okay."

Goku nodded and handed the letter to the owl.

The owl, carrying the letter, spread its wings and flew straight in one direction.

"Let's follow!"

Kakashi waved his hand, preparing to lead everyone to follow the owl below, but suddenly a strange circular pattern appeared beneath their feet.

Then, they floated in the air, chasing after the owl.

"I'll fly with you; it'll be easier that way."

Goku explained briefly, then began asking Sakura questions about the Yin Seal.

The owl wasn't fast, and with the speed of the ninjas in this world, chasing it from below wouldn't cause them to lose track.

But they didn't know where Itachi was in this world. If it was far away, and the owl would take several days to fly, that would be a huge waste of time.

So he simply used gravity magic to lift everyone up together, making things easier for everyone, and he could also ask Sakura for help learning the Yin Seal.

Perfectly, while gravity magic wasn't as fast as the Flying Technique, it was still enough to keep up with the owl.

"Truly comprehensive!"

Looking at the rapidly receding forest below, Kakashi couldn't help but exclaim.

Human energy is limited, and talents have different focuses, so ninjas generally have their own strengths.

Some focus on taijutsu, some on ninjutsu, some on sensory perception, some on sealing techniques, and some on intelligence gathering. Torture, etc.

Those with more talent might excel in two, and then those with even more talent might excel in all three.

However, sometimes excelling in too many things leads to becoming mediocre in all areas.

But someone like Goku, who excels in everything, and is ridiculously strong in every aspect, is truly unprecedented.

Finally, he's so young.

"Look, the owl is descending!"

Four hours later, bored Naruto saw the owl suddenly descend, heading towards the forest... He descended down a small path and shouted excitedly.

"They really found it?"

Kakashi looked at the spot where the owl had landed and saw two Akatsuki members wearing the iconic red cloud-patterned coats.

One was Itachi Uchiha, and the other was his Akatsuki partner, Kisame Hoshigaki.

And on the weapon Kisame was carrying, there hung an elderly ninja, severely injured and unconscious.

Originally, he thought he could find it with just an owl. Anyone who knew the name wouldn't quite believe it. After all, it sounded too absurd.

Not only did he doubt it, but Tsunade and Jiraiya weren't entirely convinced either.

While ninjutsu has various miraculous effects, it's all based on the most basic principles of ninjutsu.

And the abilities used by summoning beasts to assist in combat are also a type of ninjutsu, and must also adhere to the most basic rules.

But using an owl to deliver messages clearly doesn't conform to their understanding of ninjutsu.

However, since it was proposed by Goku, who could blast the moon, they were willing to try it, even if they thought it impossible.

If it didn't work, they would use the backup plan.

Find some Akatsuki strongholds, capture and interrogate Akatsuki subordinates, and see if they could find Itachi's trail.

And the result clearly proved that Goku's method was indeed effective; within four hours... They easily found their target.

Naruto and Sakura were also beaming with excitement.

Since the owl could find the brain, it could certainly find Sasuke too.

"Where did this owl come from?"

Itachi and Kisame, who were walking towards the Akatsuki base, were startled when the owl suddenly landed in front of them.

If it were just an ordinary owl, they wouldn't have cared, but the owl was carrying a letter in its beak.

The letter even had a name on it—it was Uchiha Itachi.

This surprised them.

They picked up the letter, opened it, and found it empty, which only added to their confusion.

Meanwhile, the owl that delivered the letter called out a few times to the two, and seeing that they hadn't given them any food, gave them a disdainful look and flew away.

Leaving behind a bewildered Itachi and Kisame.

"Strange, could it be that our location has been exposed?"
