Chapter 368 - Joining the Battle

"Begin your performance, Reed." Lifebringer said coldly.

As he spoke, the golden sheen on his body seemed to dim slightly.

"Witness a miracle!"

1610 Mister Fantastic stretched and twisted his ten fingers, simultaneously manipulating many buttons on the instrument by himself.

Rumble!!!

Under 1610 Mister Fantastic's control, the machine erupted with a terrifying roar, and streams of information surged out, communicating with mysterious laws deep within the Universe.

The specks of stars scattering from Eternity's chest increased dramatically, falling off together with the encroaching deep blue streams of light.

Seeing this, 1610 Mister Fantastic let out a few strange laughs. "It worked!"

Lifebringer looked over, then suddenly frowned. "But… the tear in Eternity's chest has gotten bigger."

"Uh…"

1610 Mister Fantastic's laughter stopped. He looked at the projection created by Lifebringer, only to see the tear in Eternity's chest had widened even more.

Although most of the deep blue streams of light on Eternity's body were stripped away under 1610 Mister Fantastic's operation, the shedding of a large number of Universes also led to Eternity's further weakening.

As one diminished and the other grew, the First Firmament was further enraged and exerted greater power.

In the First Firmament's view, Eternity would rather be destroyed than be devoured by him and return to him. This was reasonable, but it made him furious.

"Reed, do you have any other solution?" Lifebringer asked.

The projection clearly showed that without external intervention, Eternity would eventually be completely torn apart by the First Firmament.

1610 Mister Fantastic's face was grim. He opened his mouth several times but said nothing.

"Is it feasible to transform Eternity back into a Multiverse? The Multiverse's vitality is greater than a single Universe's." Tony suggested.

"No, it's too late." 1610 Mister Fantastic shook his head.

"Our Universe has already been caught and severely wounded by the opponent. If we transform back into a Multiverse now, the weakening of power will only lead to a faster defeat."

"Then there's no solution?" Lifebringer said anxiously.

"There's no solution, Eternity is doomed."

...

"There's no solution, Eternity is doomed."

In the 404 Universe bookstore lounge, the Creator said, "Sorcerer Lucas, we are separated by infinite space and cannot cross it in a short time, unable to intervene in the battle between Eternity and the First Firmament."

Lucas looked at the Creator suspiciously. The Creator had been so confident before, but now he was failing so quickly? He didn't quite believe it.

"So, Creator, are you here to ask for my help?" Lucas asked.

The Creator nodded, his vast, starry face showing no change in expression.

"At this moment, only you can save the Multiverse. I hope you will set off as soon as possible."

"If it's too late. Even if the First Firmament is defeated, the Universe will be forced into an early reincarnation due to severe damage."

Upon hearing this, Lucas narrowed his eyes and glanced thoughtfully at the Creator. "It seems I really do need to set off quickly."

Kill Eternity!

Lucas recalled the Creator's previous suggestion.

Lucas was an outsider, and Eternity, knowing he did not belong to the Multiverse, could not truly trust him.

Once the First Firmament, this enemy constantly eyeing the Multiverse, was eliminated, the increasingly powerful Lucas would become a thorn in Eternity's side.

At that time, the two might even break out into another war.

Killing Eternity, and burying the secret that Lucas was an outsider, would mean that the newly born Multiverse avatar would no longer be wary of Lucas.

To the newly born Multiverse avatar, Lucas had always been the Guardian of the Multiverse.

But Lucas had rejected this suggestion at the time.

Killing Eternity, to some extent, meant killing countless Universes, countless civilizations, and countless living beings.

For Lucas, a good young man, this kind of act carried too much moral pressure.

'So, the Creator intends to use the First Firmament to severely wound Eternity, causing the world to reincarnate early, thus killing with a borrowed knife.'

With a sigh in his heart, Lucas sent a message to Sorcerer Supreme Strange, telling him to heighten his vigilance and guard Earth-404 during this period, then set off for the Beyond All Things.

The Creator urging Lucas to set off quickly was a reverse statement, reminding him to control the situation and not help Eternity escape too quickly.

But when Lucas said to set off quickly, he genuinely meant to set off quickly.

He wanted to resolve and devour the First Firmament before the five successive Multiverse embodiments broke through infinite space and entered.

Even if he couldn't do it, he wanted to take a big bite, hoping for a significant gain.

As long as his strength far exceeded the limits of the Multiverse, what if Eternity was wary of him?

This was the solution Lucas wanted.

At the edge of the reality, at its junction with Neutral Zone, a plain white figure stood quietly.

It was Lucas.

Crack... Crack...

With one step, the barrier shattered, and Lucas stepped from the reality into the Neutral Zone.

Instantly, countless monsters around him stirred, casting their gazes over, eyeing him covetously and eager to move.

Lucas chuckled lightly, ignoring these insects, and simply stretched leisurely.

Leaving reality and arriving in the Neutral Zone, the sense of repulsion and oppression he felt eased considerably, and the mental effort he needed to suppress his power also significantly reduced.

This would normally be a happy thing, but not now.

The terrifying power suppressed within Lucas's body awakened, roaring out like a dragon, painting this blank Neutral Zone a layer of silver-white.

Crack... Crack...

Even standing still, Lucas caused the surrounding space-time to tremble. Time and space twisted, forming ripples around him, like air scorched by high temperatures.

All beings witnessing this scene were moved.

The creatures of the Neutral Zone were furious, their eyes bloodshot. After a brief moment of being stunned, they fled frantically. This was a crisis reaction from their life instincts.

The comsic beings who cast their gazes upon sensing the fluctuations in the Neutral Zone were dumbfounded. Many of them had already dealt with Lucas and knew that he was powerful, but they never expected that was only in a sealed state.

Especially Chthon, whose scalp tingled. He had actually thought of backstabbing Lucas and escaping with Logos's laws. Fortunately, Logos's sneak attack had foiled him, preventing him from acting on that idea.

The hopes of those in Taa II, which had sunk to the bottom of the sea, rose again. At this moment, Lucas's grand appearance in the Neutral Zone made them entertain a conjecture.

Lucas was going to support Eternity.

"I didn't expect this insect's energy level to be even higher than what it showed before."

Beyond All Things, the First Firmament also noticed Lucas in the Neutral Zone. He cast his gaze from afar, through Eternity's outermost barrier.

"What a pity, Eternity. You were reborn too recently. Not only are you and the others still weak, but this insect hasn't grown either."

Insect?

Hearing this long-lost word, Lucas raised an eyebrow.

"Insects bite hard." Lucas met the First Firmament's gaze across the Multiversal barrier.

At the same time, he spent the collected points.

First Firmament sneered, "Before that, I'll crush you."

"Is that so? Are you forgetting something?"

Lucas pointed to himself, then to Eternity and First Firmament, and grinned. "I am inside Eternity, and Eternity is inside you. So, after I leave this Universe, I will appear directly inside you."

As his voice fell, Lucas transformed into a brilliant silver stream of light, instantly crossing the Neutral Zone and breaking through the boundaries of Eternity, heading towards the First Firmament.

The expression on the First Firmament's anthropomorphic face changed.

If Lucas were outside him, with the energy level difference between them, he was confident he could easily crush him. But if Lucas were inside his Universe, the trouble would increase exponentially.

Long, long ago, the First Firmament and his creations, the Dark Celestials, did not allow other life to evolve and grow alongside them, viewing it as blasphemy. This led to the rebellion of the ideologically incompatible Celestials, triggering the Celestial War which ultimately blew up parts of the First Firmament's body.

After countless ages, the First Firmament's Universe no longer allowed any life to exist, except for the Dark Celestials. Therefore, facing Lucas, who boldly intruded into his Universe, the First Firmament had only two cards to play.

One was to have the Dark Celestials encircle and suppress him, with the First Firmament controlling the Universe to suppress Lucas.

The second was for him to personally descend as an avatar and act.

In a flash of lightning, the First Firmament made his decision.

He wanted both!

"Aspirants, assemble!"

Starlight scattered as the First Firmament descended and summoned the scattered Dark Celestials who were not involved in invading Eternity.

At the same time, Lucas, who had intruded into the First Firmament's body, did not idly wait for the First Firmament to pursue him and immediately took action.

Talent [Energy Absorption] activated!

Instantly, Lucas transformed into a black hole devouring all things, sweeping wildly within the First Firmament's body.

Wherever he passed, it was as if a wet cloth had wiped a blackboard. Planets, stars, and galaxies disappeared, leaving only a pitch-black void.

The First Firmament watched the stars extinguish within his body, raging. He roared, tearing at Eternity's chest, venting his anger.

In fact, besides these stars adorning his body, what he found even more unacceptable was the loss of dark matter and dark energy, which accounted for a higher proportion of mass and energy.

If one observed closely, they would find that not only did many star points extinguish on the First Firmament's body. In the areas where star points extinguished, the deep blue color of his body also slightly lightened, and a few specific regions even turned into empty blackness.

To the First Firmament, this was equivalent to a certain piece of flesh being completely necrotic and irrecoverable.

This permanent damage was similar to the Celestial War, where the First Firmament was blown into countless fragments, becoming incomplete and no longer a whole Universe.

"I will kill you!"

"I will kill you!"

First Firmament roared.

He led a portion of the assembled Dark Celestials and teleported towards Lucas's rampant path.

Converting the energy wantonly plundered from the First Firmament's body into points, and adding it along with the World Tree energy accumulated in recent years to the Sacred Body stat, Lucas's life level climbed, and his energy level also continuously rose. But Lucas did not reveal this, instead hiding it.

As soon as Lucas entered the First Firmament's Universe, he was suppressed to the maximum extent by the First Firmament. Lucas forcefully resisted this suppression. Therefore, as long as he did not withdraw his resistance, he did not need to worry about the First Firmament discerning his true power.
