As Lord Chaos's corrosive energy was stripped away, Chthon's flesh rapidly grew back, restoring him to his original state in moments, though his overall energy fluctuations decreased slightly.
But this did not prevent Chthon from forming a trinity with the Vishanti and Ancient One to birth new Laws.
"Let's begin." Chthon said, looking at Oshtur, Hoggoth, Agamotto, and Ancient One in turn, barely containing his excitement.
Oshtur, Hoggoth, and Agamotto exchanged glances and stood in an equilateral triangle. Their primal energies emanated from within them, intertwining with the two beside them.
As energy flowed, Hoggoth and Agamotto also rotated with Oshtur as the pivot. Gradually, a bright energy, almost omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, containing justice, kindness, and protection, condensed.
On the other side, Chthon placed his hands before his chest, channeling his primal energy. A strange energy surged, like a rolling black mist, as if it would drag one into endless darkness and chaos.
With two completely different energies emerging around him, Ancient One's expression was solemn.
He quickly formed hand seals, chanting incantations, and with Chthon and Oshtur's cooperation, he manipulated these two opposing energies—symbolizing light and darkness, order and chaos, protection and destruction—to begin merging.
The two streams of energy swam in the void, chasing each other, occasionally touching, but showing no signs of merging.
"Lucas!" Ancient One reminded him.
Lucas nodded, reaching out to retrieve the sealed Law Orb from his extradimensional space and handing it to the Ancient One.
The Ancient One split the Law Orb into two, placing them respectively within the light energy and the dark energy.
With the Law Orbs integrated, the two energies seemed to gain life. Their shapes changed, vaguely becoming top-heavy. They no longer chased each other aimlessly, but rather moved in a pattern, circling a central point.
Fish swimming in water, both tail and head.
Gradually, the light energy caught up to the dark energy, and the dark energy also caught up to the light energy. The two rapidly drew close, swiftly intertwined, inseparable yet not merged.
After a long while, once the two Law Orbs were completely assimilated by their respective energies, the Ancient One swapped their positions.
The Law Orb assimilated by light energy was placed within the dark energy, and the Law Orb assimilated by dark energy was placed within the light energy.
At this moment, light and darkness unified. You are within me, and I am within you.
...
Beyond all things, the First Firmament detected an anomaly.
He looked down to see Eternity, firmly bound within him, suddenly emitting black and white light.
These black and white lights were like two small fish, rapidly swimming within Eternity, consuming all anomalies and abnormalities detrimental to the Universe along the way, and forcing back the First Firmament's tentacles that had extended into the Universe.
"Heh, new laws have been born? But so what?" The First Firmament sneered, his voice echoing beyond all things.
"This means you will not succeed." Eternity's voice replied, though it was somewhat weak.
"Do you think this can stop me? I am a stronger, more mature, more perfect Universe!"
The First Firmament roared, and tentacles, thicker than before, surged into Eternity, intensifying the erosion.
Eternity remained silent, merely controlling the newly born laws to resist in balance.
"It's not time yet. The connection between the First Firmament and Eternity is not tight enough. If the First Firmament wholeheartedly tries to escape, Eternity can at most tear off a fragment from him. It will be difficult to completely keep him." The Creator said to Infinity, outside of reality.
"But if this drags on, it might cause irreversible damage to Eternity. And what if the First Firmament and Eternity fight to the death?" Infinity objected.
As an inseparable counterpart to Eternity, Infinity felt for her brother, who was currently taking a beating.
"No need to worry, the power of the Otherworld is beyond imagination." The Creator said confidently.
Infinity fell silent.
Indeed, since the last Multiverse reset and her journey to the Otherworld, she had gained power far exceeding anything she had possessed before.
But...
This power couldn't be brought back from the Otherworld.
Otherwise, they wouldn't need Eternity to accumulate energy for them using the World Tree.
"Infinity's concern is valid. Prolonging this could indeed cause irreversible damage to Eternity, leading to the premature destruction of this Universe." The Sixth Cosmos said.
As a Universe that underwent an unnatural replacement, killed by Black Winter, the Sixth Universe had more empathy for Eternity.
"Provoke the First Firmament further, make him increase his efforts."
In the vast depths of the Universe, a colossal spaceship, larger than Earth, hung silently.
Inside Taa II, Lifebringer introduced his flagship to Reed and the other four, and Doctor Doom. He had been persuaded by Reed and decided to take them along to pursue 1610 Mister Fantastic.
"I named this spaceship Taa II. Planet Taa is my homeland, a paradise-like Planet, possessing the most advanced technology of the Sixth Cosmos."
As he spoke, Lifebringer suddenly paused. He adopted a solemn demeanor, looking respectfully at the void before him, occasionally muttering to himself, as if conversing with an unknown entity.
"Alright."
"I understand."
"I'll depart immediately."
After a moment, Lifebringer's expression relaxed.
Seeing this, Reed asked, "Galan, what just happened?"
Lifebringer could not hide his excitement. "Eternity has located 1610 Mister Fantastic in 1610 Universe and has sent the coordinates."
"That's great! Let's go now!" Susan couldn't help but clap her hands in delight.
Lifebringer nodded.
He quickly walked to the central console, entered the coordinates, and instructed, "You all be careful, quickly return to your seats."
Once Reed and the five others were swiftly in position, Lifebringer pressed a button. The Taa II's rear engines erupted with dazzling light, generating powerful thrust, and the spaceship began to accelerate, as if to break free from the Universe's constraints.
The space in front of Taa II began to warp, and a dark fissure abruptly appeared—a space rift.
The next moment, Taa II plunged into the space rift.
On a distant shore of the Universe, a colossal spaceship suddenly tore through space and appeared in a Solar System almost identical to the one Reed and his companions were in.
Observing the layout of nearby celestial bodies, Reed quickly made a judgment, "Is this the Solar System of another Universe? It feels different from crossing the Universe before."
"That's right. But it's not the Earth of another Universe, it's an Earth located in a different position within the same Universe. With the disappearance of the Superflow, the Multiverse has been connected into a single Universe." Lifebringer explained.
"This is why you feel it's different, Reed. We are merely performing a spatial jump within the Universe, not crossing the Superflow."
"I see." Reed mused, then pointed to the blue Planet ahead and asked, "Galan, is Reed on this Earth?"
Lifebringer nodded. "That's right."
"Then let's find him quickly." Reed urged.
"Why find him?"
Lifebringer smiled slightly, pointing to a small black dot in Earth's outer space, implying, "Reed Richards isn't important, what's important is the instrument on his spaceship."
Brilliant golden light shone, enveloping Reed and the others before they could react, and instantly shot up, passing through two spaceships and entering 1610 Mister Fantastic's spaceship.
Standing firm, Reed retorted, "Reed Richards is very important. With him, the certainty and efficiency of repairing the Superflow field will be much higher."
"Perhaps."
Lifebringer said, glancing at Reed, "Then you go to this Earth to find Reed. He carries a special device that can affect spacetime, and I can't directly pinpoint him."
"Uh..." Reed was speechless.
He gave an awkward laugh and said, "Let's study this instrument first."
Pacing, Lifebringer, Reed, and Doctor Doom approached an instrument, with Susan and Ben following behind, observing.
Doctor Doom suddenly posed a question, "If we forcibly crack this, will he discover it and activate the self-destruct program?"
"Don't worry, I have already blocked this spaceship's information exchange with the outside world." Lifebringer said.
"What if the spaceship's own self-destruct program activates?" Doctor Doom asked again.
"Dr. Doom, you don't need to worry about that." Reed assured, patting his chest.
"Before the self-destruct program activates, I will crack this spaceship's control system and terminate it."
"I hope so." Doctor Doom shrugged, then buried himself in the research.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
"What's happening?"
Ben looked at Reed and said, "Reed, didn't you say you could crack this spaceship's control system before the self-destruct program activated?"
"F***, we haven't even started invading yet, what's going on?"
Reed looked at Lifebringer, implying whether 1610 Mister Fantastic had discovered them and remotely activated the self-destruct program.
Lifebringer frowned. "My mistake, I underestimated his technology. Prepare to evacuate, it seems we still need to find him."
"Um..."
Johnny said, "It seems I accidentally triggered the fire alarm."
Lifebringer: "..."
Reed: "..."
