Facing Atum's blatant decapitation tactic, Infinite Ultron remained calm and even felt a slight amusement.
Surely no one would think that killing him could stop the Ultron Legion, right?
However, while not afraid of a decapitation strike, there was no need to let the opponent advance their plan unopposed.
Infinite Ultron gestured behind him, and four hundred Ultrons, numbering ten to fifteen times more than the God team, stepped forward.
"Ultron 1557, Ultron 2200, Ultron 2800, Ultron 4396, each of you lead a small team."
"Ultron 1557, you are responsible for vigilance. Ultron 2200, you are responsible for intercepting that person. Ultron 2800, Ultron 4396, you are responsible for encircling and annihilating the opposing strike team."
The four hundred Ultrons nodded, spontaneously dividing into four small teams.
After forming their teams, they flew in formation towards their respective targets.
The first to engage were Atum and the team led by Ultron 2200.
Ultron 2200 led his team into the smoke-like substance formed by Atum's rapid movement.
Soon, terrifying roars emanated from the smoke. Accompanying the terrifying roars were various energy attacks and the wreckage of robots.
Atum was slaughtering them in the smoke. His terrifying combat power made these Ultrons realize that this Universe was indeed different from any of the millions of Universes they had encountered before.
However, even though Atum was slaughtering them, the smoke-like substance had stopped moving and could no longer advance towards the Ultron Legion.
He was intercepted!
Strange, Gaea, and the Gods who had not gone out to fight and remained within the defensive line also noticed this.
"Earth Goddess, summon the Celestials and the pantheons of other star systems. This opponent cannot be defeated by Earth alone, we must gather the strength of the entire Universe." Strange said helplessly.
"Alright, I've already done so."
Gaea nodded distractedly, her gaze fixed on the smoke where Atum was located.
She still held hope for Atum. She believed that Atum, who could end the God-Eater War that swept through countless Elder Gods, would be able to defeat these robot legions as well.
However...
Gaea noticed the cracks gradually spreading across the formation, and a sense of helplessness welled up within her.
However, it was too much to ask Atum to defeat the opponent in such a short time.
Although Gaea was not skilled in combat, that was only in terms of technical skill. Having lived for countless years, her strategic acumen was not poor.
She naturally understood that the God-Eater War, a chaotic free-for-all mode of survival and escape, was completely different from the Ultron Legion war mode Atum was currently facing.
At his peak, Atum, in his demon form, could defeat the combined forces of Chthon, and Set.
Even in his current normal form, he was far superior to any single Ultron. Given enough time, he could slowly pick off and exhaust the tens of thousands of Ultron before him.
But war is never a one-on-one fight.
While Atum was slaughtering Ultron 2200's team of Ultron, the teams led by Ultron 2800 and Ultron 4396 had also blocked the God team.
Originally, according to Atum's plan, the God team only needed to harass from the periphery. Facing a large group of Ultrons, they should have chosen to retreat.
But many members of the God team were high-ranking Skyfathers or near-Skyfather beings in their respective pantheons.
When had they ever been so underestimated?
So their retreat was not complete. They half-heartedly allowed the Ultron teams to catch up.
Another terrifying and tragic war erupted.
In just one encounter, these Skyfathers, who were usually high and mighty, paid the price for their arrogance.
Several died, and over ten were injured. Only a few individual powerful Gods remained unharmed.
"Not good, retreat!"
Realizing that the Ultron Legion's strength exceeded their expectations, the God team was about to withdraw.
But once entangled, how could Ultron 2800 and Ultron 4396 let them leave so easily?
The two hundred Ultrons were of one mind, their wills united and their coordination exquisite.
The God team charged left and right, jumped up and down.
Apart from the rising number of casualties, the encirclement only grew tighter.
It was at this point that several Gods at the pinnacle of the Earth-616 pantheon erupted with astonishing power.
"Shatter the darkness with thunder!"
Thor raised his Mjolnir, and a terrifying bolt of lightning struck down, landing on over ten Ultrons blocking the team's path.
The terrifying lightning appeared suddenly, catching the dozen or so Ultrons off guard. Their internal components were damaged, causing them to shut down on the spot. However, their backup procedures quickly activated, using the power of the Reality Stone to restore their bodies.
But Thor and the others seized this opportunity to escape the encirclement of the two Ultron teams.
They dispersed, some fleeing towards the formation. Others hovered on the periphery of the battlefield, still occasionally launching attacks to harass the Ultron Legion.
But no matter which choice they made, it no longer significantly impacted the overall situation.
The Sanctum Sanctorum's formation was shattered!
The 616 Universe was completely exposed to the blades of Infinite Ultron and the Ultron Legion.
Golden-yellow sparks rained down like a beautiful fireworks display.
But watching this fireworks rain, Gaea did not find it beautiful. She knew that on Earth, another rain would soon begin—a rain of blood and gore.
"Did we still fail?" Gaea said in a low voice.
She wasn't worried about her own safety, she was simply lamenting for the living beings on Earth-616.
"Yes, we failed." Strange's voice was very low.
On one hand, he had expended too much mental effort in maintaining the formation against the Ultron Legion's attacks and was now somewhat exhausted.
On the other hand, his mood was poor.
The formation had delayed for a long time. Perhaps with preparation, the Gods of other star systems could unite to resist Infinite Ultron and his Ultron Legion.
But Earth-616 was finished.
In a daze, Strange saw his teacher, Ancient One, again.
Just as many times before, when he encountered an unsolvable problem, or had just solved a difficult one and gained something, the Ancient One would appear before him to help him.
But this time... this time, even with you, teacher, we can't protect Earth.
"Strange, pull yourself together. You are the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth." The male Ancient One's voice echoed in Strange's ear.
"Teacher..."
Strange looked up at the male Ancient One.
At this moment, he understood Gaea's feelings every time she looked at Atum.
He knew that the male Ancient One also couldn't resist the Ultron Legion, but he still harbored a fantasy.
A fantasy that his teacher, who was not omnipotent, would have a solution.
He pleaded, almost begging, "Help me, teacher."
The male Ancient One said gently, "Alright, teacher will help you."
He knew that this disciple had done his best, but his opponent was too overpowered.
Facing tens of thousands of Ultrons, each possessing all six Infinity Stones, even he couldn't claim he could do better.
"Teacher, you have a way?" Strange woke up as if from a dream, his voice rising.
Th3 male Ancient One nodded calmly, a profound smile on his lips, his hands clasped behind his back, and his gaze distant as he said leisurely, "I have traveled the Multiverse for many years, and not without gain."
Strange followed the male Ancient One's gaze, but there was only the surging Superflow.
Nothing else.
"Teacher, what's your plan? Tell me quickly." Strange urged.
After his emotions settled, his attitude towards the male Ancient One took a nosedive.
"Strange, don't you feel a terrifying energy rushing towards us?" The male Ancient One still spoke unhurriedly.
His hands, clasped behind his back, were rhythmically pressing something where Strange couldn't see.
"What... what!"
As the male Ancient One's words fell, Strange continued to press for answers. His tone changed drastically the moment he spoke.
He turned his body somewhat stiffly, looking at the two people who had suddenly appeared beside him.
One of them had a large bald head and was dressed as an ancient monk. Without him introducing himself, Strange recognized him as a Watcher.
And the other person...
Danger!
Danger!
Danger!
Just one look at Lucas, and Strange's danger sense was wildly flaring.
It seemed his body's instincts were urging him to quickly distance himself from the source of danger before him.
Strange's breath hitched, and he fought the urge to open a portal and flee.
"Teacher, he is..."
Rumble!!!
Before Strange could finish, a terrifying roar came from deep within the Multiverse, interrupting him.
Strange turned to look in the direction of the roar.
A void channel appeared.
Those were the traces left behind after the Superflow outside the Universe and the spacetime within the Universe were torn apart.
With this void channel as the center, giant waves surged in the Superflow, and dark holes formed within each Universe.
Lucas also turned to look in the direction of the roar, a flicker of doubt in his eyes, which quickly turned into self-satisfaction.
"Came a bit hastily, made a little commotion." Lucas said calmly.
Silver orbs rose from behind him, exuding a rich life force, filled with miracles and hope.
He raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Snap!
The orbs transformed into streaks of silver light, flying rapidly towards the void channel.
As the silver light streaked across, the giant waves in the Superflow subsided, and the shattered spacetime of the Universes repaired itself.
Such a display of power once again shocked Strange, as well as Gaea, beside him.
Lucas hadn't expected that his full-speed burst would create a void channel in the Multiverse, causing such a huge commotion. But this didn't stop him from using it to his advantage.
After doing all this, he withdrew his gaze from the direction he came from, scanned the crowd, and sighed inwardly.
The only notable individuals around were the male Ancient One and a Stephen Strange from an unknown Universe.
What a waste of such a brilliant move.
However, as he scanned his surroundings, he discovered an unexpected surprise.
Infinite Ultron and his Ultron Legion were actually here.
Lucas's mind raced, and his super brain quickly deduced the truth of the matter.
This Universe's Strange encountered Infinite Ultron, couldn't defeat him, and sought help from the male Ancient One, who then sought help from him.
He just didn't know if this Universe was Earth-616.
It should be, right?
After all, it's so close to Earth-65.
In the Spider-Man Parallel Universe incident, Kingpin of Earth-65 used an instrument to connect several Universes, including Earth-616.
The male Ancient One also moved to Earth-65 to reside around that time.
As he pondered, Lucas was 99.8% certain.
The remaining 0.2% was for the unknown existence of OAA.
The male Ancient One came from Earth-616, but he had traveled the Multiverse for a long time, so it wasn't surprising that he knew other Universes' Strange.
And if this Universe was Earth-616, then the person beside Strange, judging from her energy intensity and aura, wouldn't happen to be Gaea, would she?
He could use this opportunity to approach her and gauge her attitude towards Ragnarok.
