His golden eyes shone with cold indifference as, instead of looking at the random scrubs who were clearly sent to provoke his ire, he shifted his attention to the man wearing the luxurious red and black robes at the back.
This man was thin; he had long black hair and sharp obsidian eyes. He had thin red lips that gave him a sinister vibe and strange red fingernails that accentuated his clothes.
He also seemed to be arrogant—at least, that's how he acted—but for some strange reason, despite his looks, Huang Shi could feel a hint of anxiety in his features.
Hmm? Why does it seem like this guy is nervous?
Just as he was struggling to figure out the crux of the matter, he heard the click of a tongue beside him. He suddenly saw that Qiao Fenyi, who previously was trying to hide her bad mood caused by suddenly seeing the Golden Treasure Villa, now had a look of distress on her face.
Why does she look so stressed out? What the heck is happening here?
Just when his confusion had reached its peak, once again he felt a tug at his arm as he turned his attention to the woman at his side, who spoke in a voice that struggled to maintain its calm.

He was just about to ask her what she meant by that when he heard a notification from his system:

Just as he was thinking about how he was supposed to accomplish this quest without a hitch, he heard a voice screaming in his ears as the person in question suddenly pointed at Qiao Fenyi and shouted in an extremely joyful manner:
"Fenyi, my love! I have finally seen you again! What did you think of the gifts I sent to your estate? What about the letters I gave you? Did you like them?"

Luo Jun suddenly disappeared from his previous position, appearing right in front of both of them as he extended his hand toward her, completely ignoring Huang Shi's presence; it was as if he were looking not at a person, but at empty space.
Just as his hand was about to make contact with Qiao Fenyi's, a sharp flare of golden flames suddenly erupted between them as Huang Shi raised his hand in a simple manner and pushed him away.

Huang Shi's hand, covered in golden flames, smashed into Luo Jun's chest—not enough to cause him any sort of significant injury, but more than enough for him to be pushed back several meters as he lost his balance and landed on the ground on his butt.
Luo Jun, who at first didn't think much of him, suddenly widened his eyes as he pointed toward him and shouted with a voice filled with rage:
"Who the hell do you think you are to get in between me and the love of my life? Do you have a death wish? Do you know who I am?"
Huang Shi's mouth twitched as his goons on the side seemed to regain their courage at their master's sudden intervention, as their bodies suddenly pulsed with a powerful aura of spiritual energy.
BOOM!
However, right before they could even say anything, before they could even do anything, Huang Shi waved his hand as a wave of golden flames flickered from his palm before he sent it dashing towards the two goons.
SIZZLESIZZLE
Instantly, the flames hit the bodies of the two goons as the flames consumed their whole bodies, lighting them aflame as they started to scream out in pain, rolling on the ground.
"AHHHHHHHHH IT HURTS, HELP!!!"
"IT BURNS, IM BEING BURNED ALIVE"

They were lucky that Huang Shi had a much greater control over his golden flames now compared to before, as he was able to ensure that these idiots didn't die from his golden flames; instead, all he did was burn off most of their spiritual energy to ensure that they were incapacitated for the fight and was now passed out.
Qiao Fenyi, who was standing right beside him, suddenly widened her eyes for a bit before looking towards him with surprise.
"Why are you so strong? Weren't you just at the 9th level of the elementary profound realm a few weeks back? How did you improve so fast?"
Huang Shi once again moved his palm, but this time, instead of moving it towards her soft palm, he extended it towards her slim and supple waist as he pulled her into his embrace.
Qiao Fenyi's eyes bulged as she felt his touch on her waist, as goosebumps spread across her skin; clearly, this was the first time that someone had ever touched her in that part of her body, and so she instinctively wanted to push him away as she screamed out:
"You freaking pervert, what the heck are you doi-"
However, before she could finish her words, she noticed that Huang Shi wasn't even looking at her, as she felt her face being pushed into his chest; instead of responding to her complaints, he looked straight at Luo Jun and spoke in a cold and monotone voice.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing here, you fucking piece of shit? You keep fucking saying who the fuck we are to offend you when I don't even know who the hell you are!"
"And now you're here trying to interrupt my date? Do you really want a beating?"
