Seraphina's Point Of View
Today was Saturday, which meant the corporate machinery of Corvanni Headquarters had temporarily paused. More importantly, I had officially, successfully moved into my parents' estate.
When I finally stepped out of the en-suite bathroom, wrapping a thick, plush towel around my damp hair, I stopped and simply stared at my surroundings. This wasn't the guest room I normally stayed in during visits. While I had buried myself in operations reports all week, they had completely transformed my space.
Calling it a bedroom was a massive understatement. The suite was easily double the size of my entire downtown apartment… that wasn't even an exaggeration. The ceilings vaulted high above a custom canopy bed large enough to sleep a small family, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the perfectly manicured northern gardens. Sunlight streamed through the glass, casting warm geometric patterns across the hardwood floors.
