"Strike as hard as you can!!" The commander of the training section said. I really don't care,all I wanted was to become a student in that school....
It wasn't much of a challenge, all we gotta do was to take down high level classes of demons.. But as we continued striking with all we'd got, it made no changes...
It was like they continued absorbing every single energy left in us.....
"Damn it!!, And if 2 wasn't enough, they decide to add an extra 3" Ria said as he struggled to pierce he's sword into a demon's skin, but it was as solid as a rock...
And for me??, I stood there hopelessly, none of my powers could make any effect on it's body....
"Everyone step back" I said as I thought of a crazy idea.
"Are you crazy!!, would be slaughtered if we do so!!" A boy said, he's name was Tetsuo, I haven't got to know him yet.
"Step behind me now!!!!" I shouted as I pointed my sword towards the opponent.
"Today, I banish you from the surface of the earth, you shall never be able to cause any any trouble ever In your life again,, 'Kaito Nakamura!!!!!!!!!!!!'" I said as I casted a spell on the demons, trapping them in my sword, creating a giant explosion...
"Come back home prince, your grandfather awaits you" A demon said with a muffled voice as I was about trapping him into my sword...
I never knew demons can speak, this is not just any demon, it's just like me, partly demonic and partly human, he's a demonoid.
Ever since that day, there's been a huge crack in the sky, and I've been having nightmares about an old man, always in my dreams and also saying the same thing, "prepare for what's coming, the gate is about to destroy and the demons will take over Detroit....".
Day's later
"Hey, ever wonder what's that in the sky??" I asked ria as we are out in the school cafeteria lunches staring at the huge crack on the sky.....
"Yh, I don't think, I do know" Ria said as he took a giant slice of pizza into his mouth. "You've got to be kidding me right now, you mind telling me right?" I asked..
"And the fact is that, you caused it, you made a crack in the gate that protects us from the demons, it's called the in-between" Ria said... "That's crazy, hey!, I don't recall the part you said I caused it??, How on Earth am I supposed to make that kind of gigantic crack like a 100 meters in the sky!!"..
"You did it, that day at the entrance exam, you created an explosion that diverted straight to the in-between" He wasn't even freaking out that the world's gonna be a flood of monsters in a matter of time.....
"And no one's even freaking out, shit!!, I gotta do something, anything!!, why has they not done anything yet, like send an astronaut to go...." He didn't even let me finish!, Just snatched my words away from my mouth..
"They don't see it!!, Only we demonoids are able to see it" Ria's a demonoid, I didn't see that coming.
"You're a Fucking demonoid!!!!" I shouted. "Oh I thought you knew, a demonoid can sense it's fellow mate even through a distance of 30 kilometers, guess I was wrong about you." He said..
"Please be corroborate, how are we going to stop it" I asked,
"It's too late, the crack has gone beyond repair, there's nothing we can do, just sit back, and wait.." He seems like he was trolling with me, so I didn't took he's words seriously.
As day's passed, I kept having nightmares about the same thing, monsters killing humans, I began to wonder...
"Could this be real, are the monsters really going to take over the earth" I asked myself.... I decided to ask my father for answers so I traveled back home.....
"Dad, could this be real, are the monsters really going to take over the earth" I asked him but he didn't took it seriously either, he just kept drinking he's cup of coffee.
"Tadashi Hamada!, You're a demonoid, you're stronger than any demon that lives in the in-between, you can take down about thousands of demons with the swing of one hand, years ago, I was a guardian of Detroit, a level 18 student, I was the most powerful being that ever existed, the God's of Detroit wanted to rule and take hold of my powers, my father was murdered by the people of Detroit...." He ended.
"And you're just telling me now?" I asked..
"In 5 day's time, the city is gonna be a flood of demons, and the humans, not even one is gonna survive, so buckle up buddy, this is not a game" He said.
"Damnit,how many am I able to protect, I'm just gonna watch them die at my hands, No, I'll do anything in my power to stop them". I said as I made a mad dashed towards the exit.
With the fact that no one is even considering this seriously.
I found myself walking down the alley, drenched in ice cold water, and the splattering of rain descending harshly on the floor kept driving me crazy, as my ear could no longer resist.
It was a very busy day, although it was raining hardly, a bunch of people still didn't care just doing their business. The middle of the road, a boy devoured another person, at that moment my heart raised, and I began to have this intense feeling that my bloodlines are near, i gasped, and the murderer turned to me pointing he's little dagger towards me as he took little steps towards me.
And again, another crazy act, no one was able to see him, with the blink of an eye I took off but he kept following me..
"Is he alright"....."What's up with him?"
Different people and different questions as I ran out of the crowd .
Running through the whole market, he kept following me until.....
"Oh shit!!, A dead end" I said to my self, "Hey!!, What's the matter with you?, why can't they see you" I asked him.
" I was going to ask you the same question, unless you're a demonoid, I'm Karan!, Nice to meet you" He said as he stretched out he's right hand hoping to get a handshake.
"No!, I don't trust you, you just killed someone" I said.
"That was a demon, in 5 days time the city is going to be a flood of demons, while now some are already making their way out of the in-between, demons can shape shift into anything, so don't trust a single person....
