Chapter 71 - 71

When the watch carrying ultimate craftsmanship and sentiment was solemnly placed in the exquisite watch box, Ethan personally fastened it on Diana's wrist again.

She looked up at him, her beautiful eyes shining, filled with the emotion of being so cherished, the sweetness of being pampered with such power, and complex feelings about the unfathomable strength and heart of the young man before her.

She grasped his hand tightly in return and gently rested her head on his shoulder, absorbing the unparalleled warmth and security that belonged to her in this moment.

She knew this love was genuine, but not an eternal and exclusive commitment.

Ethan rubbed the shiny new watch on her wrist, his voice low and meaningful:

"Naughty auntie, let it accompany you through every highlight moment of Red Bean Capital's future."

"Mm."

Diana responded softly, her voice slightly husky, with complete dependence and satisfaction:

"Thank you, honey."

This "honey" was an endearment in the heat of affection, a bond of intimacy, and her confirmation of his ownership in this moment.

...

Ethan held Diana's slender but powerful waist and didn't head to the exit, but instead turned toward a corner deeper in the shopping center with softly lit, artistically designed windows.

The La Perla logo appeared in the soft light, and in the windows, graceful lace, cloud-like silk and delicate embroidery flowed with an indescribable seductive luster under carefully designed spotlights, like a secret garden for goddesses.

"Wait!"

Ethan stopped, his low voice with a hint of undeniable playfulness.

His eyes swept over the dreamlike garments under the light and shadow:

"Haven't picked up the 'combat supplies' for my naughty auntie yet."

Diana instantly understood, and a gorgeous blush flew across her cheeks.

But those seductive beautiful eyes met Ethan's, flowing with bold coquettishness and tacit expectation:

"Young man... What naughty ideas are you having?"

She pinched his firm arm with her fingertips, but her body obediently let him lead her, pushing open the glass door filled with high-end fragrance.

The interior of the store was another world.

Warm lighting, private space, and the air filled with the unique atmosphere of expensive fabrics and fragrances.

Ethan lazily settled into the comfortable velvet sofa.

A sales associate with exquisite makeup and elegant demeanor stepped forward with a knowing smile and softly asked about their needs.

"Pick a few pieces for this lady... Robes for special moments."

Ethan's eyes fell on Diana, the corners of his mouth curving into a mischievous arc, his words full of implication.

Hearing this, Diana's face flushed red!

Diana, accompanied by the sales associate, let her fingertips slide over the hanging artworks.

She picked up a burgundy lace bra with thin black ribbon wrapped around the edges, refracting a subtle sheen in the light;

She picked up an almost transparent black chiffon slip and imagined the touch of it against her skin;

Finally, her eyes fell on a minimally tailored midnight blue silk slip dress, its smooth lines seemingly born only for her curves.

She deliberately took one and gestured gently before Ethan's eyes, her gaze full of provocation and temptation.

Ethan's eyes filled with burning appreciation and unabashed possessiveness, like appreciating a rare treasure.

He occasionally nodded slightly or shook his head faintly, silently exercising his authority.

Eventually, his slender fingers pointed to three pieces:

The midnight blue silk slip dress, smooth as water, with a deep V design at the back, maintained only by slender lace-up straps. The burgundy lace lingerie set, with bold cutouts and intertwined ribbons, full of the fun of solving a puzzle. And the black chiffon slip, light as night, with embroidery in key areas that was tantalizingly visible.

"Just these three!"

Ethan was crisp and decisive, more casual than buying the Vacheron Constantin.

The dark gilded branded paper bag was respectfully handed to Diana by the sales associate, and through the opening, one could vaguely see the heart-pounding hazy luster reflected by the silk satin and lace inside.

These were simply attack-speed items for men!

Diana took the heavy and suggestive "trophy," her fingertips curling slightly, an indescribable thrill and anticipation quietly rising.

She turned sideways, her red lips almost pressed against Ethan's earlobe, breathing like orchids, her voice full of honey-like temptation:

"Honey... In tonight's 'fashion show,' which 'armor' should your naughty auntie put on first?"

Ethan trembled all over from Diana's breath—she really was a little vixen...

He sighed secretly: Fortunately, he was reborn and in good health, otherwise who could withstand this...

Tightening his arm around her waist and pulling her into his embrace, there was a surging undercurrent and an inevitable smile in his deep eyes, his low voice exploding in her ear:

"No rush... One by one. The night is long, and I have all the time... to carefully appreciate my spoils."

....

In the hotel penthouse suite.

Diana placed the dark La Perla paper bag on the entrance console, the burgundy silk laces hanging from the opening brushing against the marble countertop, like a drop of solidified red wine.

She turned around and hooked her arms around Ethan's neck, her breath carrying the evening breeze and slight intoxication:

"Honey, wait for me to shower... Won't be long."

The frosted glass bathroom door reflected the silhouette of her removing her coat, and the sound of water was like rain on leaves.

Ethan leaned before the floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the San Francisco night view.

His phone screen lit up and two messages popped up.

Emma Wilson:

"Ethan the valedictorian! The graduation surprise has been assembled~ There are 45 customized engraved pen gift boxes for classmates, and 7 customized gift boxes for teachers—premium coffee sets for male teachers, and perfume for female teachers."

There was cheerfulness between the lines, and Ethan could almost see Emma's animated expression.

The corners of his mouth rose unconsciously, and his fingertips danced briskly across the screen:

"Thanks for all your hard work, Emma! Day after tomorrow at 5 PM, arrive at Riverside Restaurant half an hour early. I'll have Jack, Sarah, and Ashley meet you there to move the 'arsenal' together—we'll handle it."

After thinking for a moment, he added:

"Coffee's on me—I owe you ten cups when I get back home."

As soon as the message sent, Emma's reply popped up:

"Ok ok! Mission completion guaranteed! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶"

On this side of the screen, Ethan smiled and shook his head.

...

Not long after, the phone vibrated again.

Jack's message popped up on the screen, and unexpectedly, this time he didn't roast him as usual, but simply asked Ethan to bring back some local specialties.

Ethan stared at the screen, the corners of his mouth rising unconsciously. He quickly typed back:

"Okay, my good son~"

As soon as the message sent, the chat interface immediately displayed "Jack is typing..."

In less than three seconds, Jack's reply bombarded back with exclamation marks:

"Dude!"

"Ethan you dog, will you die if you don't mess with me for one day?"
