He turned around and clapped his hands at the pirates who were already laughing so hard they were falling over.

Sato Kotaro saw no response from the other side for a long time, assuming they were scared silly.
He grew even more smug and waved his hand.
"Fire! Give them a taste of what's to come first!"
"Boom! Boom!"
A few muffled cannon shots, and two small solid cannonballs flew over.
