Red head rolled her fading head, trying to find a savior. But the last thing she could see besides Sharpy's evil, blood splattered face was the crowd of her siblings. She looked at them, hoping for pity, but their scared faces slowly warped.
In her fading consciousness, their expressions morphed into that exact same look they always gave her when Sharpy was bullying her to death—the look of indifferent bystanders, glad that the monster's teeth were sinking into someone else.
No one was coming. Not her father, not the guards, not her siblings.
With the very last ounce of her fading senses, before the darkness completely claimed her mind, the redhead let out a final, ghostly whisper:
"It's... always... the same..."
Her head slumped to the side, her eyes turning vacant and glassy as her breath stopped entirely.
