Zafkiel's Seventh Bullet.
When Grayfia spoke the ability's true name, Hiro's expression shifted, just slightly.
"Did you only acquire this one ability, or a Sephira Crystal, or perhaps an Angel named 'Zafkiel'?"
Although he had already reclaimed the [Random Draw Machine] he once entrusted to Grayfia for safekeeping, Hiro had no intention of asking about the results of her nineteen draws.
He considered it compensation.
Compensation for nearly two thousand years of waiting.
Besides, even without Zafkiel, time travel was no longer special to him. After killing Zervan while he occupied Mithra's body, Hiro had obtained the Authority of "Eternal and Infinite." The abilities associated with Zafkiel were things he could already replicate.
"Only the Seventh Bullet."
"That's a pity."
Hiro's face remained calm, unchanged. Internally, however, there was mild disappointment.
It meant the Loli Grayfia, Teen Grayfia, Infinite Grayfia, and Infinite "Teen" production plans were impossible.
Unfortunate.
"Then let's eat breakfast first. After that, Grayfia, I need you to do something for me. Be careful. Don't leave any trace that could lead back to you. And don't let anyone-devil, angel, fallen angel, or anyone else-discover it. Do you understand?"
Hiro rolled out of bed, found his clothes, and put them on as he spoke.
"Yes, Hiro-sama!"
He handed over the twelve-winged angel Ga'al and the fallen angel Sa'al to Grayfia. After setting a command for both creations to wake up in an hour, he watched her leave the room.
Hiro washed up and went downstairs for breakfast.
While eating, he casually shifted part of his attention to Athena's movements inside the [Void Star Taisui].
Less than a few minutes later, within that nascent universe, a female twelve-winged angel finished forming in front of Athena and slowly opened her eyes.
The moment she saw Athena, the angel knelt on one knee. Her right hand rested over her chest, her posture identical to one pledging allegiance.
The angel Athena created wasn't particularly strong.
But one detail stood out.
Her reproduction method relied on spiritual fusion, drawing energy from both parents.
However, perhaps because she wasn't personally manufactured by Hiro, she differed from Ga'al and Sa'al.
She couldn't leave the [Void Star Taisui].
She could only exist forever within that empty, newly born universe.
Hiro had no intention of interfering with Athena's work. The thought was dismissed almost immediately.
It wasn't important.
He waited.
Less than half an hour passed.
A familiar magic circle lit up, and Grayfia reappeared. She was dressed in her usual black-and-white maid outfit, her tone steady and composed.
"The task you assigned has been completed. I placed them in Sirzechs' office. No one noticed, and no trace was left behind."
"Good. Thank you for your trouble."
Hiro swallowed the last bite of his still-warm fried egg and nodded.
"Grayfia, we're taking a trip to India."
He cleansed the tableware with a casual gesture, stood up, and headed toward the door.
"Does Grayfia need to prepare plane tickets?"
The silver-haired maid followed behind him, her footsteps light.
"No need. Planes are too slow. I'll take you there."
At those words, Grayfia couldn't help recalling another world, two thousand years ago.
The time when Hiro had carried her in his arms.
Before she could dwell on it further, a teasing voice drifted from the wall near the Deviluke family residence.
"Oh-ho. What an interesting conversation. Mind if I join?"
Hiro stopped and turned his head.
Black, unknown matter seeped from the wall, slowly oozing outward. It gathered, reshaped, and finally formed the figure of a dark-skinned young woman.
Nemesis.
With Sona's assistance, Mea and Kuro's enrollment procedures had already been completed. Tearju's onboarding as a teacher had gone smoothly as well.
Nemesis, however, had no interest in school or teaching.
So she wandered Earth freely.
As a Dark Matter Weapon, she didn't need to eat. Her combat power was absurdly high. There was no reason to worry about her safety.
"I don't mind," Hiro said. "If you're curious, you can come along."
His tone was casual.
"In that case, I won't be polite."
Nemesis's enchanting face curved into a look of satisfaction.
The next moment, her newly formed body collapsed, dispersing into strands of jet-black smoke. The smoke wrapped around Hiro-
And stopped.
Nothing happened.
The black smoke circled him endlessly, unable to enter his body.
"Young man," Nemesis's helpless voice echoed, "would you mind giving me a ride?"
"You don't need to worry," Hiro replied calmly. "For someone at your level, as long as I don't want it, you can't peek into my mind."
So without my permission, you really can't get in.
Hiro maintained the constant defense of [Psychological Control] and allowed Nemesis into his body-temporarily.
Stepping out of the castle, he picked up Grayfia, still dressed in her maid outfit.
Ignoring Nemesis's grumbling, he activated the Divine Speed he learned from Luo Hao.
His figure vanished.
In less than an hour, he and Grayfia appeared in Southeast Asia, within India's borders.
"Oh-ho. We run into a '5' the moment we arrive. That's some luck."
The moment he set Grayfia down, Hiro noticed the silver number hovering on his system map.
He spread his Observation Haki.
A beautiful figure wearing a black kimono entered his perception from the distance.
His eyebrow lifted.
Kuroka.
What a coincidence.
"Since Vali was sent undercover into the Chaos Brigade, Kuroka should still be part of his team," Hiro thought. "Her relationship with Cao Cao's Hero Faction isn't good. Why would she come to India? This is practically Cao Cao's base."
Standing atop a rock on an unknown mountain, Hiro observed the unsuspecting cat-girl in the distance.
Silently.
"If I remember correctly," Nemesis's voice echoed, "this country is India."
While Hiro was focused on Kuroka, Nemesis somehow perceived the outside world as well.
"You traveled all this way," she continued. "Don't tell me you came just to sightsee."
There was teasing in her tone.
Curiosity, too.
"The original purpose was to find a group of restless people," Hiro replied. "But now, I've found an unexpected surprise."
His lips curled slightly.
He didn't bother hiding his mood.
Compared to the Tier-5 Luck above Kuroka's head, her connection to Koneko-Shirone-mattered more.
Koneko's mental trauma stemmed from Kuroka.
And for trauma caused by Kuroka, Kuroka herself was the most effective cure.
As long as he tossed her near Koneko, after a few days-
Or used [Psychological Control] to place Kuroka in a state where she "had to tell the truth"-
Koneko's mental trauma would mostly heal.
After a brief explanation, Hiro didn't wait for Nemesis to ask more.
He lifted off the ground and sped toward Kuroka's position.
Even with a Haki detection range exceeding two thousand kilometers, he didn't relax.
Kuroka was proficient in Senjutsu.
If she used a transfer magic circle to flee to Mount Sumeru, the Heavenly Realm, the Underworld, or the Netherworld, things would become inconvenient.
Grayfia followed without a word.
"Mew~ This aura... someone incredible is coming," Kuroka murmured. "Are they looking for me, meow?"
A round, scarlet fruit hung from her mouth as she raised her head toward the rising sun.
From that direction, nearly a hundred kilometers away, two beings were approaching at a terrifying speed.
She couldn't tell if they were coming for her or simply passing by.
If it was the latter, fine.
If it was the former-
Kuroka glanced at the nearby shops she had "visited." A few small trinkets were missing.
Her claws extended slightly.
Her expression sharpened.
"Aigh... forget it, nya. I'll find a secluded place first."
Her kimono fluttered as she sighed.
With the mystical art of "Reduced Distance, Inches of Earth," she moved toward the outskirts.
Whether they were after her or not, preparing in advance was the right choice.
She never considered one thing.
Her every move was already being watched.
Boom.
A heavy impact shook the ground.
Dust exploded upward, obscuring her vision.
So they really came for me, meow.
Two figures landed dozens of meters in front of her.
Kuroka's amber eyes narrowed.
"Tsk."
A gust of wind swept through, dispersing the dust curtain.
When their appearances became clear, Kuroka's pupils contracted.
Her heart skipped.
That man.
The Lucifer whose power might be even scarier than mine.
And the second Red Dragon Emperor-the one who crushed Juggernaut Drive Vali.
Hiro's true strength wasn't fully known. Kuroka relied mostly on Vali's description.
But a human who could defeat Juggernaut Drive Vali so easily?
He would overwhelm her without effort.
Damn it.
One Red Dragon Emperor is already too much.
And he brought a Lucifer?
I haven't dealt with devils in ages.
Why are they suddenly targeting me, meow?
While Kuroka wrestled with shock and uncertainty, Hiro looked at the highly alert cat-girl and raised his right hand.
He smiled.
"Yo. Shirone's sister. I'm here to take you home."
As he spoke, [Psychological Control] slipped quietly into Kuroka's mind.
It wouldn't take long.
He would capture her without injury.
Later, when Koneko requested her release after meeting her, Hiro would lift the influence completely.
Until then, constant oversight was necessary.
Kuroka's Senjutsu made escape possible if he relaxed.
Hiro hadn't specialized deeply in arcane arts.
Roseweisse would have been a different matter.
Shirone's sister...
Did Shirone tell this guy about that incident?
And why is a mere human-Red Dragon Emperor or not-commanding a monster like Lucifer?
Kuroka stared at the strange formation before her.
Man.
Woman.
Human.
Devil.
She frowned.
And chose not to answer.
